We could still find a parking spot. Some ppl parked on the side of street. The park is neither small or big, medium size. There is kid's playground and trails, a small lake. Some trail was still covered by the snow or wet. We walked slowly that still could take me an hour to go through different trails. It will be better to walk around during summer. It's a nice place to abtain some sunshine.

It's just north of the hospital and is easy to miss since I rarely drive up this way. One of the best parts about the park is the free parking just south of the park. The trail is somewhat circular, and can vary from 2-3 km depending on where you walk. The trails are pretty easy and flat. The trails on the north side of the park pass by residential back yards and are primarily dirt trails, which can get muddy after a rain. You also pass by some nice brick houses on the west side of the park. Overall, a pretty nice walk if you're looking for something easy and don't want to break a sweat.

The menu offers light bites, drinks, and sweet treats, with heartier options like wood-fired pizza and grilled dishes on summer music nights. Service is friendly, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the seasonal hours make it a lovely warm-weather destination. A hidden gem for a relaxing coffee or snack surrounded by nature. It would be great if they added more shade elements and/or covered seating. I think as the park ages and the surrounding tree grow, this park will only get better.

But that doesn't mean you can't have a great time, its the people you're with that makes anything fun!

needed to get out of the house and go for a hike, so thats what i did…read more came here on my first stop to do some exploring for my photography, saw this forest from the highway and decided to give it a try, on the outside it doesn't look like much, but the trails on the inside of the forest add up pretty quick, pretty even flooring makes this a breeze to walk through, when the leaves are fully blossomed the whole park is covered from the sunlight, but still has enough spacing with the trees to let a good breeze go through. very happy that i came to this park, but i should have came a week later for better fall photos, as the trees deep in the forest were still very green and not yet turning colors. still very happy i went. lots of parking available on the grounds, the only negative is coming in and going out of the parking lot could be a bit tight for room. cant wait to come back.

Our company picnic was held at this park last week and it was the perfect spot! Of course, there was no 'lazing' under any trees for us as we played various games and ran around like idiots for a few hours! There are plenty of open, flat areas near the baseball diamonds for relay races, egg tosses and the like. Although there are plenty of benches situated along the paths, there doesn't seem to be any picnic tables in the 'grassy' areas around the park or under trees making it somewhat awkward during the BBQ. As with all parks in Toronto, a permit is required when holding an event or gathering of 25 people or more but they are relatively quick and easy to obtain.
