Don't hire this company! I had a horrible experience when I used it. I was completely dissatisfied with the workmanship and the job was not completed as contracted. The work done was abysmal. No joke, a friend asked me if it was one of my DIY projects. At the time, it was late evening with dim lighting. Still, he noticed the bad workmanship. I felt like an idiot having paid nearly $4,000 for this work.
One important thing to know is that this business is NOT licensed, in neither MD nor DC. For MD, the license number published in one of the craigslist ads has more digits than assigned by the state. Unfortunately, I didn't do my due diligent to checkout this information beforehand. You can verify the lack of license with both principality online (see below). The representative from MD even checked for an expired license and didn't find one.

Upfront, Nathaniel (Nate) Boyce Jr, the owner, exhibited normal business etiquette. Don't be fooled--he became extremely rude and combative later. After I paid the deposit, my business dealings with him went downhill. Multiple delays occurred before he completed the job. For each delay, he provided some ridiculous excuse.
Yes, this company provided me the lowest bid, but didn't perform the job as agreed. Therefore, this bid was higher ultimately. I paid more money for the work done than I would have paid the other contractor with a slightly higher bid. Worst, I will need to have the work redone eventually.
I would not recommend Boyce Masonry for any kind of work. The owner is rude and unprofessionally. Moreover, the work done was sub-par. I'm not alone in my experience; checkout this blog: https://stevekelton.wordpress.com/ read more
