I appreciate the gesture and his willingness to address my concerns. That said, my goal was never to obtain a refund. My concern has always been the billing process and the discrepancy between what I paid upfront and what was later reflected through my insurance. I am sharing my experience so that other patients know to carefully review their EOBs and billing statements and make sure they understand any charges collected before insurance is processed.

The office staff was very kind and efficient in getting us scheduled. When we arrived, they barely made us wait and Dr. Whang was very quick to see us. She is so calm, warm, and kind and made us feel very comfortable. It's always hard to bring a 1 year old to a dr's appt but he barely cried and she definitely had great communication skills speaking to babies. She was so good with him. Me and my husband are very pleased with our visit and are truly so grateful to Dr. Whang for making this a great experience for my 1 year old. Oh and he also loved the little corner of toys and books while we waited the 30 min wait when his eyes were dilated. I highly recommend!
