Pretty bare bones city RV park, with no camp host. Sites are gravel, surprisingly level, FHUs, and…read morethere are some random square concrete patches between sites that seemed out of place. It is an old campground, though. But it's right smack in the middle of town, and minutes from anywhere you are heading. There is a tent area, and let's just say that those folks were probably NOT on a groovy walking tour of the Palouse, wink wink. I did consider carrying some hollow-point insurance on this trip, but saw it was going to be a full park, with parents dropping off their college kiddos at WSU, so thought that little extra measure was unnecessary this time. Considering there are no brick & mortar bathroom/shower facilities, the $35-night fee is pretty reasonable. But there is a large pee-atorium for folks like us that don't hook up our sewer line. Wifi wasn't great, but you can check weather/email/basics, and I always appreciate that. We'd have no problem staying here, again...

Walking distance to shops, brewery and restaurants and short drive to the biggest Walmart I've ever seen (Not a Walmart fan, but this is a great store). You can only stay up to 10 days, but it's quick and easy to reserve online.

Wendy and her husband represent what true hospitality is!!! If every campground had them, you would arrive and leave smiling everywhere you went. We arrived later than expected and didn't pull in until about 8:30pm (the office closed at 5pm) but immediately Wendy & her husband were there to get us checked in and personally escort us to our campsite!!! Now THAT is service. You can tell when you walk into the bathroom, showers, or laundry room that they work hard to keep everything maintained and in tip top shape. These are the cleanest "smaller" campground facilities I've ever experienced! There are MANY site options, and they're well maintained and the gravel is visibly raked and leveled out. Wow! I would recommend coming here 5 million times! For the site, AND for Wendy & her husband! :)

The park sold a little over a year ago and after 8 phone calls / voicemails and one time talking to the new owner we haven't received one call back to tell us if we could reserve a space or if they were full. A courtesy phone call would have been nice either way. Needless to say we have moved on and will take our business elsewhere.

I reserved my reservation for 5 nights, then read the reviews. They are mixed…read more I came in there with an open mind. We rolled in there no problem in the short stay area. Curbed RV spots with standard hookups. Water, power, sewer. No problem. Had a gentleman roll up,he was Dan. Very friendly and nice. The RV park had newly planted trees in each RV spot. I found Rambler RV to be very clean and nice. The water was crystal clear. No brown water. If I come back this way, I would love to stay again. Thank you Rambler RV.

We had read the very negative reviews on this place prior to arriving and we were apprehensive…read more But it was close to our son's place and we already had paid for our reservations and they are adamant about no refunds. (Plus, only other choice is the fairgrounds, which is another gravel parking lot and it's first come first serve, no reservations, and only 5 full hook up spots). The nice thing about Rambler is that it is very, very quiet. Our site backed up to the wheat field and had nice views of the sunset. BUT, we had to worry about what the owner was doing for an hour right behind and next to our RV. He was drinking and wobbly so we were a bit concerned. Turns out he was watching the sunset. We did not talk to him due to past reviews. Couple points: All the nice tree'd spots as you come into the "park" are taken by full timers. There is a 25 mile long wide, paved bike path just outside the park that used to be the railroad tracks and goes all the way to Pullman. It's very clean and the gravel spots seem very new. Now the water issue is real but not as bad as past reviewers have said. It does have heavy mineral deposits and has a brown tint. Our blue canister filter helped a lot and made it drinkable, it just tastes like well water, which we are used to. Our son has this same water in his apartment building a few miles into town. We had it at our house 30 years ago when we lived near there. It's just normal for the area and doesn't smell and isn't bad. Overall, we will probably stay again for the convenience factor and the quiet factor.

We pulled in, headed to the office, and found the three folks waiting to check us in like we were long-lost friends. Unlike the other review, these folks were cheerful, friendly, and had a sense of humor. We were quickly assigned a spot and settled in. Probably 90% of the RV's in here are permanent residents, and the spots left open for 'drifters' like us are near the front of the park. You get some street noise, but not so much as to make it annoying. The park is clean and neat. While we didn't use their bathrooms, our friends did, and said they were clean and nice. Most sites have at least a small grass patch and they are watered and maintained well. This is not a fancy schmancy RV Resort with tons of luxury amenities, but it IS a clean, relatively quiet, safe place to duck in for a night (or two) and replenish your rig. Both Costco and a Super Walmart are close by. Overall, it's a nice place to get off the road.

Never have I seen such outrageously poor customer service. Spend your hard earned money anywhere else than here. Even if the management changed, I would not return until a new owner is in place.
