This is my second time joining the gym. I've trained material days in the past but coming off a 2 year hiatus I wanted something to get me back on board. This place is the most affordable in town and I see people improve in 2-3 months. That's typical turn around as most places. Lots of classes. Wish there was more light, technical sparring for Muay Thai but what you for what you pay for is great. The instructors are good and have great attitudes, a few of them former fighters. Even with COVID is among us, the leadership and coaches are here willing to teach us risking themselves and their families everyday. All the coaches are amazing and take the time to talk to you and teach you the techniques the right way. I took my free class that they offer and fell in love with it. I can't believe this place is still in business. All they like is your money and forget about customer service. I wanted my young son to learn boxing so I decided to get him a membership and I took him one weekend and guess what I got deployed the next weekend to Kuwait. So this left my son not old enough to drive to not attend classes. I called this place from Kuwait telling them my situation and to work with me and they wouldn't! They kept saying you owe for your membership and sorry your son can't attend but you signed a contract pay us what you owe. They didn't care a lick about a military member and their family. Feeling fat and slow from a day of travel as I mustered my will to hit the hotel's 'fitness room', I was severely disappointed by a skinny lame A$$ room at the Hilton. But what do I see out their giant front window?! A Huge Yellow 'BOXING' sign. A beacon of hope, fitness, and a break from the mundane hotel workouts. I called over to the gym and asked if I could pay for a drop-in. "No Problem! Come on over". They hooked me up! The drop-in fee was beyond reasonable, and they sold me a nice set of wraps for basically market price. Now, I have been training off and on for over 10 years. I can spot a good gym, and this one! They have Ring, an MMA Cage, and a huge space for working out. Their equipment is decent shape. It's worn, but there isn't a piece of duct-tape to be seen. Multiple size, and types of bag, a weight area, and just about anything a fighter is looking for to train. I hit this gym both days of my stay in the area. While I didn't take any classes, (I ran my own workout) I did get to witness two classes while I was there. First was a kids class. This was AWESOME! Lots of boys and girls of all ages wrapping their hands and learning the fundamentals. While there was a bit of chaos, they all seemed be having fun, and getting a good workout. The instructor did a good job of wrangling the kids. The second class I saw was a private. Two women were taking what looked like a Grappling class with one of the instructors. This was some serious, lock and hold training that looked legit. I'm not a local, and only went twice. . But if I was in the area, I'd be a member. read more

This place is fantastic. I've been attending for nearly four months and it's been nothing but a great experience. The place is impeccably cleaned; very well stocked with bags, mats, exercise balls, and shields; the prices for memberships and gloves/wraps are the best I've found anywhere; and the trainers are exceptional! I'd never had gloves on a day in my life before my first class, but the trainers were patient, competent, and walked me through the entire process. Even though my fitness level definitely left something to be desired, I never felt overwhelmed or pressured to do more than I was capable of. Instead, the trainers helped me find a pace that delivered the best results and even customized routines to ensure physical limitations didn't stop me from getting the best workout. The atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging; the staff is very nice; and even the people attending have been very friendly, especially the regulars who were helpful in giving me pointers. While all the trainers have been great, Zen is definitely my favorite. I attend his Wednesday and Saturday kickboxing classes, as well as his Wednesday Mauy Thai class. Mostly, I appreciate how much he's always ready to re-explain or explain certain routines in a different way to ensure I get it. He focuses heavily on the techniques, while blending in enough cardio and stretching to make me feel I'm getting a great workout. He's also willing to give advice, tips, and corrections before, after, and during class. He brings a great energy to each class and I feel myself improving every time. If you can only pick one, definitely attend his Wednesday kickboxing class! As someone who went from running on a treadmill a few days a week to joining this gym on a whim for the kickboxing, I showed up out of shape, a little terrified, and only motivated by the price of my membership to keep going. Fast forward a few months, and now I actively look forward to showing up, getting my wraps on, and practicing more. I've lost weight, gained muscle, and gained a lot more skill than I anticipated! I joined Boxing Inc just a few months ago to take that long journey we all venture into at some point in our life to get into better shape. I was looking to learn a little self defense as well, not to to spar, and not to get in the ring and show my fighting skills! Lol. I needed something better and more stimulating than just going to the gym. Well I have to say in 45+ plus years of hitting the gym, this is the best gym I've ever been too! Both the staff and the members are very inviting, and it has quickly become like a small family. No one is there to show off their prowess or that they're better than you. Everyone is there to learn and get fit and encourage you on the way. The personality and staff member you'll probably deal with the most is behind the counter, Emmanuel! He's a wealth of knowledge from teaching you to how to wrap your hands to what classes to take as well as guidance on gloves, pads, wraps, you name it. He is always welcoming, friendly, helpful and always has a smile. Then there are the trainers, Nick, Manny, Sergio and John. All have a different workout, style, music and each push you to different limits. The variety for this old gym rat has been outstanding. I'm never bored and constantly challenged! There are a lot of instructors there that I haven't had the pleasure of meeting or working with but I'm sure they're outstanding as well. In two months, I've lost weight, greatly increased my cardio and most importantly increase my perception of myself and self esteem. Now keep in mind I turn 60 this year and I'm not easily impressed anymore. I've heard all the used car sales stories and tried every gym and program I can think of. I have been boxing and kickboxing here for many years, and I absolutely love it! The instructors are all excellent, each with their own style, which makes it fun, and interesting. The workouts are always different, lots of boxing technique, and workouts that will make you as fit as a boxer! The instructors accommodate every level of fitness and experience , and help you modify things if you need to. The people that go here are great as well. Everyone is friendly, and helpful if you need it. You will see every size, shape, and age group, all here for the same reason. LOVE working out here. All of the trainers are extremely professional and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Each class is different so you don't have to worry about getting bored or worry that you're not working out different muscle groups. Aside from that, the front desk is very helpful and provide in-depth information on what to expect as a new member of boxing inc! They aren't pushy with trying to get you to become a member which I really appreciate. This gym is a family. I started back in 2009, went almost every day for 2 years straight. Kj and Jerome are absolutely amazing coaches. Best jiu jitsu i've ever trained at. Be warned, if you go and commit, you will get good, you will make friends and you love this sport. The BJJ program may be small 20-30 people but they are all solid. It's been awhile that I've been eye-ing on this club and thought that Boxing.inc is only for professional boxer. Turns out It suits to any fitness level, I personally really like boxing and kickboxing workout but have never been trained as professional as like Boxing.Inc does. They pay attention on each individual and correct our technique. It was an amazing experience, every class is really pushing me over my limit and I feel great after class is done. The staff and the instructor are super friendly. It's my first month but I already feel like have been there for long time. They are care, motivating and really make you feel welcome. Value wise? I came here seriously looking to get decent training. That didn't happen. I did end up getting a personal trainer who I've heard is no longer there, but he was not attentive to me at all. He would leave our sessions to talk to people. He would show up late and cut us off early. I would say he was even a bit rude to me. It really made me mad that I paid good money for that kind of service. Then, they set me up with another trainer who I also didn't mesh well with but I only took one session with him. I happened to be a guest watching the kids practice boxing today. I noticed a trainer pick a young boy and put him against a bigger boy to spar. What the world was this guy thinking. The older kid just pummeled the younger kid, and the trainer was not teaching or helping the younger kid during the sparring. I know these two boys were not in the same age range, or anywhere near the same size. What kind of training is that? It looked like a session in teaching the older larger kid how to bully a younger smaller kid. Then it didn't stop there. The trainer put a big guy to spar with a girl and that boy pummeled that girl and the trainer did not offer any training or suggestions to the young lady on how to prevent that kind of beating. I think that trainer had a "sadistic" nature to himself and should not be "training/working" with kids. Whoever that guy was, you need to take a closer look at him and see what he is doing while no one is watching. I was just appalled at what was called "training." There was no training involved at all. I would never bring my kid to this place. I get it, this is boxing, etc. but, there was no teaching of any kind that I witnessed during these two child-abusive sparring sessions. Come on people, keep an eye on your so called "trainers." This happened at the eastside facility during the kid's boxing session on 7-16-22. By the way, the actual trainer for the kids on the floor, was good and worked well with the kids. You can feel comfortable coming here as a beginner or as an experienced boxer. Their instructors are very nice and knowledgeable and the front desk staff are so friendly!! I HIGHLY recommend BoxingInc to everyone! I started here a couple months ago and unlike my gym membership this membership has been used repeatedly. I actually cancelled my gym membership after two weeks here and haven't looked back! The membership fee seemed a little harsh on my new-grad budget but it was so worth it. On the classes: I recommend the Thursday Women's kickboxing class with Nicole as your first free class. Her energy and adorableness will hook you in and she's constantly checking in on you to see if you are following her and helping out. By far the best instructor for newbies! After taking many classes both in kickboxing and boxing, I love Tuesday women's kickboxing class and Wednesday's boxing class. Jocelyn is so compassionate and keeps you moving while helping with technique and keeping things interesting. Nick on Wednesday's will kick your butt in the best of ways. Him and Junior are probably the hardest instructors and the best at pushing you til you drop. I'd recommend Brittany's Wednesday kickboxing class if you've done kickboxing before if you don't mind going fast. I love the atmosphere and the family feel environment. If I miss a class one week I'll be asked where I was the next class and I'm always greeted by name. I absolutely love everyone that works here and you won't be disappointed. If a pregnant woman, the older gentleman with grays and hearing aids, the recent college grad, and the student can all take the same class so can you! I was officially "christened" into Boxing Inc last week. I've always wanted to try women's kickboxing for self defense and it looks fun! I called and Jason answered. He was very helpful in answering my questions and set up an appointment for the next day to answer other Q's. The gym is a good sized gym and it's so welcoming! With the enrollment fee and monthly cost, it doesn't amount to how much the classes are so good. For a decent monthly fee, you can have unlimited access to all of the classes. I have gone to one class and still recovering from the soreness! The class is fun and the instructor was motivating. But looking forward to becoming fit:) read more

I signed up for a 2 year contract. I'm almost done with it by October. Last year I gotten into a pretty bad car accident. The doctor hasn't cleared me to go back to boxing inc yet. So she has been giving me notes to freeze my account every 3 months. Just yesterday I went to go give my note like I have been the last 7 months. They are suppose to unfreeze it on the 5th. BUT THEY ALREADY CHARGED MY CARD. I understand they had to because The 5th is not a business day. So I asked WHEN DID THEY CHARGE MY CARD cause keep in mind it's still the third. I joined Boxing Inc 5 months ago after years of not working out. I love the work out at Boxing Inc! The kickboxing classes are so hard and fun! I am definitely getting stronger. They make every one and every shape feel welcome! The trainers are so helpful and positive! I have been doing one on one training with Van Sanders. The are the best! He is a wonderful trainer and makes it so much fun! I forget I am actually working out so hard! Well, not quite forget! I have to say I HATE gyms. Why? Because of the macho mumbo jumbo and silent female competition of who's got the best body. And sometimes it makes you feel downright chicken to go and work out. I called Boxing Inc. with much trepidation because I wanted to take boxing lessons again but I was scared. At this point, I knew I was way out of shape and scared of what I was walking in to. When I called looking for a trainer, I was pleasantly surprised when I spoke with a boxing coach who was really nice and encouraging. He asked me why it took me so long. I ended up joining. The workouts make me sweat more than I ever have in my life, I'm losing weight and learning how to fight. The trainers are super qualified and friendly. Not a place for kids. There's only one class they can take and it's at 430. My kids said all they do is kick and it was boring. And they could only go 1 maybe two times a week . Definitely not worth 110$ a month and the pricey start up fee. And stupid me I signed them up for 2 yrs. And there's no way to cxl. If there was a class they could have took later in the day. Boxing Inc East is amazing! I've been a member for 1 year now and the staff and trainers at the gym are so motivating, knowledgeable, and great fun to be around. I have never enjoyed working out in the past but this place has managed to change my attitude about it and I feel like a new woman - lost 60 lbs so far. They have so many class options to choose from and the personal training is a definite benefit. I have been decent at sports but never really that great at anything. These trainers are so exceptional that I believe I can even achieve a high skill level in boxing and muay thai in addition to my fitness and weight loss goals. This gym has really changed my life and I can't imagine not coming in to work out even after I reach my weight loss goal!
