Great coffee, great decor, but the employees do not wear masks and they don't require customers to. I want this lockdown to end, and businesses that don't want to inconvenience themselves don't realize how selfish they are being and the harm they are causing to our country. read more

Great coffee shop find. We normally make coffee at home but decided to venture out. So glad we did. Charming coffee shop with friendly servers and patrons. Lots of nooks, crannies, flowers, and character. Outdoor seating with room to chat and breathe in the fresh air. If you're needing a coffee fix with some unique muffins and pastries I strongly recommend visiting what should not be a hidden gem. read more

Not much like it in the area! Great coffee and service! Can't believe I found this gem on a search! It's a fully converted and renovated house turned coffee shop. Greenhouse attached where they offer greenery and do a Farmer's Market. Lovely setting and lots of room to sit and hang! Great Yelp find! read more

Boxed and Burlap - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Delavan, Wisconsin

Great coffee! It is the cutest place in the Bay Area. We absolutely love it! Also we go more often to the location in piggly wiggly.

The first thing I want is a good barista and quality coffee blends... neither of which this location offers. The store is cramped and only benefits from an exterior porch during good weather--not always available in Wisconsin. So, aside from the coffee's taste, there's little to like in the bakery either. I like "Simple Bakery" in Lake Geneva, WI... The best coffee in the area is "Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine" in Burlington, WI or "Steamers Cafe" in Williams Bay, WI. read more

It's a coffee shop that doesn't make very good coffee drinks, and that sells stale tasting baked goods inside a teeny-tiny store. Do yourself a favor and get great food and coffee just down the road at Steamers Cafe and the Green Grocer in Williams Bay and avoid the lackluster beverages at Boxed & bad-tasting Burlap... It's a place for those who think McDonald's coffee is good, and who just finished having their bunions shaved at Aurora's Medical Center before heading to quilting class. read more

We get coffee from here while visiting our friends on lake delavan and it's a perfect little coffee shop. It's not the greatest latte I've ever had but it does the job and i enjoy supporting the local independent business. read more

Great service a nice atmosphere. Don't like coffee but they make an awesome chai latte.

My family loves B&B! It's just a quaint, local coffee shop with the competitive edge of it being country/rustic aesthetic. It's one of those places that truly care about their customers and the owners' passion for this place pours out in every part of the experience. There's just nothing like this around here! The menu isn't terribly large, but again, it's a nice, lo joint not Starbucks or Dunkin. read more

Such a cute spot. Coffee was delicious. The secret menu, salted honey latte hit the spot! They don't have much for a menu listed inside so I did look it up online, happy I did! Great patio area with lots of seating. A must if you're in the area! read more

I always drove by and never stopped. But when I finally did, I was so glad they had cold brew. It tasted amazing on its own, very flavorful. This is probably the best coffee place around. The barista was super friendly and nice to my kids. I'll be coming back whenever I am in the area. read more

My husband and I stopped in after a recommendation and we are so glad we did! The place has a great atmosphere, comfortable decor and friendly staff. My husband really enjoyed the coffee, he chose a medium roast and I had a cup of tea. There were a good variety of teas to choose from as well as coffees and other beverages. Also some delicious baked goods! While this was a cold, snowy day the place was warm and bright. A much needed retreat from the fickle Wisconsin weather. We are looking forward to our next visit to Boxed and Burlap. read more

We tried to only support local coffee shops while on a weekend getaway. This place did not disappoint!. Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if you are in the area! read more

This is the cutest place! My in laws live around the corner, so whenever I come into town from Boston to visit, this is my go to spot! The coffee is really great, the staff are friendly, and it's the interior is very cute. In an area where there isn't alot going on, Boxed & Burlap really is a treat to have nearby! read more

They make the best hot mocha I have ever had. It is sort of a connoisseur thing, where that is what I try at every coffee shop. Sometimes it is weak, sometimes there is too much coffee or a wrong type of coffee - this one was correctly proportioned and delicious. Not to mention professional, friendly staff! Pleasant, clean environment. read more

Awesome atmosphere. Service was stellar and the latte I had was very good. Reasonable price and selection. Will for sure stop back by this little spot. read more

This is a cute little coffee shop with wonderful coffee and friendly service. Nice sitting areas too.

This place gets the 5 star full endorsement from this coffee snob New Yorker. A really good cup of coffee. In addition, the place is really kid friendly, with a kids corner and a giant chess set. I wish they had a larger selection of edibles but that doesn't take away from the experience at all. It is a nice place to sit (inside or outside) to start the day right with some caffeine. And the staff are lovely. read more

I went here to post on insta and didn't get that many likes. I also burned my mouth after setting it on fire.

Great spot. I've lived in Seattle and Denver; two great coffee cities, this place is on bar with both coffee and vibe. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and a top tier space...you should go here. It's awesome. read more

I wanted to pass on a concern I experienced on Sunday. Went in for latte and two hot chocolate drinks. Was greeted by a very friendly women who was stocking milk. There were three people behind the counter two of which had masks on as myself. The third girl maybe in 20's wasn't wearing a mask at all and had a runny nose and kept touching her face. My initial response was to walkout and forget my $9 and some change which I didn't care about but I didn't want to make a seen in your establishment. I waited patiently for my beverages in disgust until my beverages were shouted out to pick up at other end of the counter of which there were customers drinking their coffee without masks which I understand however to have me go down there and get my order was frankly disrespectful. I got my beverages and left. I disposed of them outside. In my opinion this place I love is not remotely prepared for Covid. I wasn't going to post anything however I just drove by and there are a lot of vehicles there and no parking and certainly no social distancing. I'm not recommending boxed and burlap at this time. read more

I was in Elkhorn doing aura photos at a shop and decided to go here for coffee on Sunday morning. It's a really nice place to hang out with friends and have a chat, especially the outdoor seating. Indoors was a bit noisy & crowded for my test. It seemed to be impeccably clean, which was nice. The baristas were wonderful -- very patient, friendly & kind. I bought a small Americano, which was OK -- rather weak for my taste and a good reminder to ask at new coffee shops how many shots they put in. I was already on the road by the time the coffee was cool enough to drink. I would definitely return here and recommend it to anyone! read more

Finally!! A cute, local coffee shop in Lake Geneva. This is exactly what this area needs. We have a home in Geneva National and come here almost every morning for coffee. The atmosphere is amazing, the coffee is delicious and the whole concept of the cafe + the garden/nursery is so fun and unique. It's great to bring friends for coffee or alone with your computer to get some work done. read more

Cute little coffee shop just outside Geneva. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They can make a great cold brew!

This place gives more of a coffee farm vibe than a coffee shop vibe. It's small also. The coffee house (literally a transformed farm house) is pretty small with little sitting room. There is outside sitting space and places to wonder around to while drinking your coffee which can be fun. If you're looking for a place to study this might not be your go to because if there's no space there, I think the nearest city with some where else to study is at minimum 15-20 minutes away. If by chance you get there when no one is there it's very quiet and nice. The coffee is good. The coffee seems pretty balance, they don't roast themselves though. There roasts have a good range but still it's one side or the other with not a lot of balance as far as acidity or smoothness goes. They have a lot of rotating coffee roasts also. Their lattes are good and when they make pour overs they have a little bit of an idea of what they are doing. They don't seem to scale or time their pour overs, or when making other forms they don't seem to much measuring. If you're looking for a very crafted cup of coffee this probably isn't the place for you. They don't know the coffee industry super in depth but they do have an idea of what's going on. When I asked if any had received barista training outside of in-house they said no. I do like the atmosphere, the baristas are friendly, and the coffee is moderate. I would go here often if I lived closer. The only thing I would change is more tables for people to study at or play cards. The loft area is way to small to have more than three people up there doing anything other than reading or writing. I'd recommend this place to most and will enjoy coming back when I am in the area. read more

Neat coffee shop...with lavender vanilla lattes to boot (!) but I appreciated the outdoor nursery just a tad more. BEAUTIFUL unusual plants/shrubs/flowers. A must go for all you green thumbs! Also...bonus in the outdoor enclosed space (separate building) ...yoga is held weekdays and weekends through Lake Geneva yoga. Very cool.... read more

Most amazing coffee, friendliest staff and a great atmosphere. We come here every time we are in the area and have enjoyed it every single time. The setting is gorgeous - it's great for a quick stop or to stay and relax on the patio. Would strongly recommend to everyone to check them out! It's unfortunate that people take time to post negative reviews that aren't even based on the product or service they receive here. Small businesses have enough challenges to face right now. If you like great coffee, kind people and a cozy place to hang out, go to Boxed and Burlap! read more

They have a great cup of coffee as well as a small selection of some great bakery. The place is adorable. Quaint. Cozy. What a fantastic job on the inside as well as the outside of the building.
