I will never step into a Slumberland again. We needed a mattress and were anxious to buy, but it…read moretook forever to get someone's attention. The associates were clearly interested in helping customers who were dressed better than we were. We found a mattress we wanted and we were told it was the last one but we could have the floor model. We were fine with that and made the purchase and scheduled delivery. The store called on the day of delivery saying they needed to delay for a couple of days. On the day they did deliver, they arrived late with a completely different mattress than the one we purchased. We called the store immediately and told them we received the wrong mattress (extra firm rather than medium and a different brand). The store said that they were aware of the switch. During the delay in the delivery period, they sold the mattress we already paid for to another customer and delivered it to them. We were told the mattress we received was comparable in price and we should be fine with it. We explained that we didn't want a mattress that firm and and regardless of price it wasn't a suitable substitute. They told us to come in again and choose a different mattress. When we returned to the store we were treated like garbage. They gave us two mattress to choose from that were cheaper than the original. We chose one and it was eventually delivered and the mistake mattress taken away. We wrote to the manager of the store but never received any response. We then wrote to the corporate office and eventually got back a short note saying our concerns were forwarded to the store manager. No one bothered to contact us, no apologies. Management may have changed since this experience, but the execrable customer service was store wide and extends to corporate management. Today we went to a completely different store to purchase a new mattress and had an excellent experience that got us what we wanted and made us feel like valued customers. It was a night and day difference from the experience we got from Slumberland. We will write a positive review for the other business, but the good experience reminded us how Slumberland treated us and encouraged us to warn others away from giving their business to a company that treated us so badly.

The service technician came out and quickly assessed the problem and said that the part to repair the switch would take one to three months to arrive. We went back to the Hermantown location and explained our problem with the love seat to the salesperson and manager. Both individuals were very professional and willing to help us and ultimately provide us with a fair and reasonable accommodation. What could have been an unpleasant experience did not transpire because of their outstanding customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm not usually one to…read morecomplain, but I don't want anyone else to have to experience what we have been dealing with. Never, NEVER buy from AshleyFurniture! The worst customer experience and service ever!! This is just a snapshot of the horrible experience we've had at Ashley. This started in May when we had our sofa and two love seats delivered damaged. I had to resend pictures because they lost the pictures the delivery drivers took. They then ghosted me to the point I had to go in the store and get a response. Eventually someone got back to me and scheduled service. I have a rather limited schedule but it still took them until NOVEMBER to get my sofa. They were around 5+ hours late on a Saturday to pick it up. Two weeks later I was told it would be 20+ weeks to get the parts to fix!! They have known the issue for 7 months already!!! Their solution is to give us store credit to reselect furniture, no discount, no compensation for the hours we waited on a Saturday, no concessions for the months of waiting. They will admit that they "have not been without fault" in all this, so I've got that going for me... Ashley Furniture is THE WORST!

First started having issues nine months into purchase and was told because I used furniture safe…read moresoap and water on a small spill that there was nothing they could do because the warranty was now voided. Trying to remove a small spot the dye started to come off of the fabric. If any water is spilt onto it, the dye starts coming out of the fabric. Now a year and a half into owning this couch, with all the discoloration from the guy that wasn't ever set, it's completely broken. Stopped in tonight hopeful they would help me find something for replacement and wasn't Offered any assistance.i
