I called Bowman Medical and the woman I spoke to was patient, professional and proficient. She was so kind to me that I was overwhelmed. When I looked at other insurance approved providers they all were rated one star and had very negative comments so I readied myself to potentially deal with red tape and unpleasant people. Bowman was the exception. They had good ratings and nice comments. When I called I found out why. The lady at Bowman was so kind and caring. She made sure I got what I needed. When the delivery men showed up right on time they were jovial, professional and couldn't do enough to please me in placing the unit. The bed itself was new or indistinguishable from new and functioned perfectly. They demonstrated it and answered all my wife's questions and were not hurried or unpleasant. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I have the need. read more

Stay away. Go anywhere else. Bowman called to say that my prescription had expired and they needed to contact the doctor for CPAP supplies. Ok, so they tell me they contacted the Doctor...... After two weeks or so I called to ask where the supplies were. Well, it seems they faxed the Doctor's office and they didn't get a response so no supplies. i asked if they intended to contact them again. "Nope, not my job" I was told. "You have to call them" When were they going to tell me this? Not sure they were. The guy who's name I wished I had gotten hung up while I was in med sentence, very unprofessional at the very least. He made clear he was not going the do anything else to move this along. It was my job. Glad he let me know because if I had not called I would have never known. Wow, amazing people!!!! They have an after hours answering service, at almost 7pm I'm calling around looking for a medical supplies store that was still open. The answering service took my info and within 10 minutes they returned my call. The woman was so awesome. She's meeting me there later on tonight, and she's a life saver!!! I have extremely bad asthma and allergies, and the cup to my nebulizer broke and I'm without an inhaler until my doctor's appointment..... Needless to say, without her kindness and help, I most likely would have ended up in the emergency room tonight. Thanks you guys!!! You are an angel!!!! read more

Went to get oriented on my new CPAP machine. Catherine, Rebecca and the rest of the staff are courteous and pleasant to deal with. Alan Bowman (VP, Director and Respiratory Therapist) treated me with the utmost in respect and professionalism. I was very comfortable talking to him. He was personable and very knowledgeable while explaining every aspect of the use of my CPAP. His 30+ years of experience is apparent He made sure I didn't have any questions and assured me that if later I did, I could call anytime. I support local businesses and he and his staff make that easy to do! I highly recommend going there for all of your home medical needs. read more

I've read the 4 reviews and completely disagree as my experience with the staff at Bowman Medical has been anything but a good one! I was asking Destiny questions about my new machine over the phone and she got so frustrated, she threw me on hold and left me there until I hung up. I called back the next day and Rebecca answered the phone. I was asking about supply charges and she got so belligerent with me she told me she would send my prescription back because I don't think she wanted to be bothered! Where are the patient, kind and courteous employees others are raving about? I haven't spoken to any yet! On top of it all, they are charging their customers $75 for monitoring and connection to the app MyAir, which is a farse and completely Free! I found this posted just one month ago that reads: "If the ease of use, access to your sleep data, personalized coaching tips, and overall sleep therapy progress weren't enough, the cost of the myAir has another great feature: it's completely free! I stopped in to get some medical equipment for my machine. The owner was such a great help since he is a respiratory therapist. He taught me how to get the most out of my medications and also made a few suggestions that have improved my breathing. The service here is terrible!!! my father has stage 4 COPD and spends 90% of his time in bed he had two beds break in two years they refused to repair or replace the second one. They wouldn't even give him a new mattress the springs are coming through his. The owner of the company (at least she claimed to be) said " We aren't doing anything for you people unless you pay us 200.00". All of the services provided are covered by my fathers Medicare and gap insurance. She was rude and acted as though she was better than us. I will be placing a complaint with Medicare!! I said how about you come over and sleep in this bed and see how it feels. She laughed and said " I don't have to and I don't care how comfortable it is!" I hope a loved one of hers never has to endure the pain my father does on a daily basis. There are plenty of other companies out there I recommend you use another. read more
