Pros: -Pam at the…read morefront desk is sweet and helpful -- making sure patients are clear on their insurance coverage. -Ophthalmologist techs and Dr. Coppock are thorough/friendly and will take the time to talk to you during your routine visits. Cons: -Eye drops. Curses and bad spells to you, dilating drops. We will never be friends. -Glasses center. Guy working didn't want to talk or help me in my hunt. I made at least three very lame jokes while shopping for glasses and he didn't even crack a smile. Not cool. Importance of the pros outweighs the cons, so I'd recommend this eye doc practice if your eyes are ready for a check up.

Got a new appointment and less than 2 weeks after seeing the Dr. I got a bad case of viral conjunctivitis. The incubation period can be over a week not 2 or 3 days. As a result I had to go to get an eye exam to receive medical treatment for the eye. I asked the the Dr. about the possibility of having gotten the eye infection in the office (I had heard from a third party that this office had an outbreak of the same infection) and he told me he had been out with a severe case of viral conjunctivitis but that my infection was not the same strain as his. I am not stupid. Unless you test it you do not have any idea of the strain. I asked how many of his patients got conjunctivitis after he got it and he named a few family members and again reiterated that I could not have gotten the infection from his office. I did not note any use of universal precautions during my visits and they used eye drops and equipment without cleaning or replacing in front of me. I cannot say where I got the illness from and I did not see Dr. Mazzuca so I cannot comment on his care or consideration.

"I can see clearly now" ... actually it is my neighbor who can see clearly with all of his fears…read morerelieved after visiting Friedberg's Ewan NJ office for his first eye examination perhaps since he was in junior high (He is 54 years old.). When a business that requires close personal contact understands that some of their patients may have underlying challenges and adjusts their care level to the patients' personal limits they deserve all the credit in the world! Each of the two staff members and the doctor who saw my neighbor were OUTSTANDING and CARING women! I was so impressed by each of them (My neighbor needed me to be with him at each step of the examination because he was "scared.")! This very welcoming center of eye care has "eye appeal" and I noticed right away that all of the staff seemed to be happy; smiles were everywhere! Their choices for eye glasses are impressive. One thing that impressed me was the availability of literature about eye care that was in the waiting areas. It always helps to be an educated consumer even in the seconds before you actually become the consumer. The examination room was clean and welcoming. As we left, my neighbor turned to me with a smile and said 'those were really nice attractive ladies." I don't think he was considering dating any of them but it was in their personal friendly approach that he felt good about his first visit in years to the eye doctor!

I was told I would need an eyepatch after my procedure. I arranged a Lyft ride to the…read moreappointment. Upon my arrival, I could not charge my phone as multiple outlets would not work correctly. I was called back to the procedure room. As I gathered my belongings to go back for the procedure, the staff left me standing in the hallway. They provided no direction. I had to wait another 20 minutes before being called back a second time. I incurred $106.87 in fees for 2 ride shares that I did not need.

Everything about my LASIK experience at LasikPlus in Mount Laurel was excellent. No one asked me to…read morewrite this review. I did a virtual consultation first with a very friendly staff member who answered all my questions. Then I did an in-person consultation and everyone who I met with there was extremely friendly, positive and helpful. I felt genuinely excited about correcting my -7 vision and the staff seemed excited for me too. The day of surgery I was a little nervous but mostly just looking forward to having good vision. The surgery was probably about 5 minutes altogether and it really was no big deal. I think people get worked up because the surgery is gruesome to watch on video but if you focus on your actual experience, which is painless, and just breathe, it's easy. I felt nothing leaving the office because the numbing drops hadn't worn off. By the time we got home, my eyes were starting to burn and tear and all I wanted to do was lay down and go to sleep. Because they were burning I couldn't fall asleep for about an hour but that feeling started to subside and I fell asleep for about 4 hours. When I woke up I felt much better and was seeing almost perfectly. My vision was a little hazy but clear. The day after one of them feels a little irritated like I have a dirty contact on but the haziness is already improving. The follow-up appointment went great and the doctor said my eyes look exactly as they should. Thank you for an excellent, life-changing experience!

From start to finish, the entire team made me feel informed, calm, and truly cared for. My surgeon, Dr. Julian Procope, was amazing--his calming disposition immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely confident in his care. The doctor who examined me initially, as well as my follow-up physician, Dr. Stoltz, were equally wonderful. Dr. Stoltz took extra time to walk me through my options, especially helping me decide between corrective vision and monovision. What stood out most was that he allowed me to experience what my vision would be like ahead of time, so I could make a truly informed decision without pressure. That level of patience and education meant everything. The office manager, Mrs. Parker, was also fantastic--she patiently went over all my paperwork, answered every question thoroughly, and made the administrative side feel seamless and stress-free. I would highly recommend LasikPlus, especially to anyone in their 50s who may feel unsure about whether LASIK is worth it at this stage of life. For me, it absolutely was. I'm so grateful to be done with years of contacts and glasses and to step into this next chapter with clarity--literally and figuratively. If you're on the fence, I encourage you to explore it. I'm so glad I did.

I am very grateful! Dr. M's team was very helpful and kind, including Susan Osieski, who is patient contact for surgery. She was very organized and answered all of my questions. Dr. M's assistant was also helpful (sorry, I forget her name) and very much on the ball. However, I will say that my observation after everal years and many office visits is that the front office personnel at this office are abrupt and bordering on rude. At my last visit, I felt so bad for the elderly people who were waiting patiently for a long time and not getting any communication or kindness from the front office staff that I reported my feelings to Dr. M's staff. It would take so little to treat elderly (I'm 70-so I'm talking about those elder to me) patients with patience and kindness. It is also counterproductive, as they could be scaring patients away. Once you get beyond the gatekeepers, evereyone is professional and competent. I will also say that I had the same experience at the Surgical Center. The intake person was abrupt and cut me off in the middle of a question and then turned her back on me. However, once past her, the nurses, anaesthesiologist, surgeon and all I encountered were amazing. I'm noticing a trend?

But yesterday afternoon, driving my '97 Boxster back from Philly to Wilmington, it rained heavily the whole way and there was a lot of spray from speeding (55 limit = 70), heavy traffic and also fog on I-95. The yellow-tinted sunglasses turned out to be perfect fog and spray cutters. Quite amazing. I mean it was like the road was clear. Big trucks and black pickups come from the fast lane and cut in front of me to spray my yellow roadster good, but I was OK vision wise. Fortuitus mistake or not, the yellow tinting worked out fine. Good to know. All's well that ends well.
