Seafood pancake, beef kimbab, galbitang, oriental fried chicken
Vanny S.

One of the best korean food that I've ever had especially the seafood pancake and galbitang. Seafood pancake is crispy, light and also moist. Galbitang soup is super rich but still clear and has so much flavor. We also try their new menu (oriental fried chicken), it so yummy. It's crispy and also well marinated. Love the side salad that comes with the fried chicken, it's actually remind me of my favorite salad grows up in Indonesia (Hokben salad) if someone ever try their salad in Indonesia.

We ordered here from Doordash for the first time and it was delicious. The owner was very courteous and friendly. Honestly we woofed this food down. The sauce that came with the wings was more sweet than it was spicy. Very yummy and things tasted fresh.

This visit I feel very disappointed with their beef bulgogi dish. It tasted awful. It looked like it's been marinated for too long that meat texture gets very mushy. Me and my friends told the waitress about it but they just apologized, didn't do any adjustment about the dish.

The server was really friendly and helpful. Me and my friend share the Beef Bulgogi BBQ and I would highly recommend it. The dish came with rice portions and a few small dish of vegetables. Overall the experience was good and I would definitely come back.

Our friends took us to dinner here on Friday night and we were not disappointed. This new restaurant has replaced the Thai place that was here about a year ago. If you are craving some flavorful Korean food, this is this place to go! There is plenty of parking (It is located next to the very popular dim sum place, tpot). The restaurant is larger in size with adequate seating and very nice decor. We had excellent service throughout. The owner was very friendly and took the time to tell us his recommendations and even came back a couple times to see how we were enjoying our meal. The prices are definitely a touch higher but if you share a few dishes together, you will be very full and happy! Altogether each couple paid about 50 bucks including tip. We ordered seafood pancake, chili garlic fried chicken, beef bulgogi, pork ribs, a spicy hot soup, with plenty of sides. My favorite was the seafood pancake, Korean fried chicken and all the meats! It was very tasty and the meat was well marinated. They had a variety of sides like Kim chi, jalapeno, deep fried zucchini amongst other delicious options. We were absolutely stuffed but completely satisfied after our meal. If you love Korean food, check this place out. We plan to return hungry again:)

I was taking my son and his two best friends nearby to flying squirrel World largest indoor trampoline park so I asked my son to research where we should go for lunch before hand and I'm so glad he found this place. My son and I were the only caucAsians in the restaurant as his friends are Taiwanese but the staff took pity on my son when he needed a knife and fork to chop up his short ribs instead of using chopsticks. The food was absolutely delicious delicious and quite reasonable at $14 each for a massive lunch special - The staff were very nice and we will definitely come back again sometime when we have more time. I am intrigued by the photos especially for the email and the full squid. I've never eaten a squirt all in one sitting they literally have the whole thing that had the body the tentacles even the eyeballs. Who knows maybe it's delicious? Or hopefully at least more delicious than it's Photo.

This was a Thai place before I believe and now they changed it to a Korean restaurant. The ambiance is good with very comfortable chairs- couches I would say. Server was soft spoken though she needs to be more familiar with Korean dishes. We ordered fried chicken, bibimpop (with beef bulgogi), and kimchi chigeh. The chicken was good, the bibimpop was just okay - they don't give enough sauce and no sesame oil with it. The kimchi soup was very good though. There wasn't enough side dishes and no refills of those either. I think its a bit pricey for what we got. I will probably won't come back here- though it's the only Korean restaurant I know near our area! Sad!

The exterior of the building appears that it is situated in an old house, which definitely adds to the charm. The staff greeted me an led me to a table on the upper floor. Immediately, I noticed that most parties in here were large and the portions were family style. Definitely something that I wish I had brought friends to and not just come in as a solo diner. However, the staff did not make me feel weird about this at all. I ordered a Lychee Time cocktail and a Rose Rice Cake curry. They brought out an included kimchee plate, which was certainly enough for 4 people. The Rose Rice Cake dish was the same, enough for 2-4 people to share. Both the kimchi and the curry were amazing, I enjoyed both immesely. My only complaint was that my drink was far too sweet, I had to water it down to finish it. When it came time for my inevitable leftovers, the staff had great suggestions for reheating and I was even able to purchase udon to go for the leftovers. Amazing homey experience that I would recommend to anyone in town (preferably with friends!).

My craving must have been intense because I didn't even think about it and started my long walk there. The layout of the restaurant is interesting. The bathroom is in the basement, the first floor is a bit small but has some tables, and the second floor has most of the dining area space. Interior decoration was pretty minimal but there was kpop playing and it was a bit dark in there so if you're looking to get a few drinks and Korean food with some friends, this would be a great spot. When I was sat at my table and I looked through the menu, the first thing that popped in my head was that they had quite an extensive menu. From army stew, bibimbap, bulgogi, and what I decided to get Dakgalbi (marinated chicken bbq). The Dakgalbi was really good and marinated well. I wasn't expecting the fried rice at the end to come with it like in Korea which was also really good. The only critique I have regarding the food is that there weren't that many side dishes (banchan) and the lettuce on the side was an extra $5. Service was on point. Thu and the woman server, I forgot her name, worked well as a team to make sure everyone was taken care of even though they had to walk up and down those stairs probably 10+ times just when I was there.

The inside is also rather small, they seat maybe 7 tables each with 2-4 people per table. There's tons of traditional Korean decorations everywhere. The staff is also all Korean and greet you in Korean. There's unlimited high quality purple bean rice. The sides are nothing to write home about other than the macaroni salad. They had an interesting take on it by adding imitation crab - I'm not sure I liked that part. Otherwise it's similar to the chain BCD tofu. The ever popular seafood pajeon (a pancake-like dish) is made extremely thick and therefore isn't crispy at all like pajeon normally is. I don't really recommend this item. Interestingly there's a bulgogi dish with vegetables and noodles (thin, clear). Makes the dish much more hearty. The flavor and quality was pretty good. Seafood tofu soup. They do a great job of making it spicy if you ask. The flavoring has that umami feel. Overall, not overwhelmingly amazing. A bit on the pricey side. They do have a very wide range of menu items and some pretty authentic items that aren't normally regularly provided in Korean restaurants. Service is fine - didn't meet anyone rude or anyone particularly amazing either.

There restaurant is split into two section - the ground floor which has the kbbq and the rooftop (oktop) which has some additional menu items. Both sections were nicely decorated and prepared with side dishes ready at the table upon entering. We ordered the kongbul which was served with broth, and it was the perfect amount for the 2 of us. Although the kongbul was delicious on its own, the highlight of the meal were actually the side dishes - they were some of the tastiest side dishes I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. Each was full of flavour and fresh, and tasted home-cooked. Our server was friendly and attentive and was quick to refill our side-dishes and waters. One of the servers also gave us some japchae (as service) which was such a pleasant surprise and was soo tasty! Fingers crossed Korilla will expand to Toronto!
