Awkward location inside of a hair salon. Walking past hair and shampoo stations felt odd. . Despite that, the bowl was fresh and delicious. I ordered the coconut base and chia base. It tasted like ice cream. The service was friendly and fast. There aren't any places to sit. There isn't much of an ambiance because it feel like it's in a closet. The vibe is nonexistent. so I took my bowl to go.

My favorite go-to Açaí Bowl place. As others have mentioned, it's in the back of a salon, but so worth checking out. You won't find a better açaí bowl anywhere else. Unlimited base combos, and unlimited toppings. Fruit is always fresh and appealing. You can tell the owner cares about quality of ingredients. Finally got to visit this new relocation after walking around AT&T center. Drove with it to my favorite crystal shop Lunametaphysical in Bishop Arts. It held up nicely without melting at all! Thanks for satisfying this pregnant girls sweet tooth!

Decent place to get bowls. Kinda like an açaí speakeasy vibes as it was not easy to find, kind of hidden. Order ahead online and pick it up. A good variety of base and toppings for the size and price. Kind of messed my order but im not upset about it as i could taste the quality.

Look for the Bowldega sign outside on the wall, because this place can be hard to find but it's worth it - one of the best açaí bowls I've ever had! You pay for the size and can get any base (mix/match) with unlimited toppings! Everything is organic and they have a diverse selection of bases and toppings. We got two 16oz for $14 each and then a bunch of toppings following the signs they have. The signs specify whether they're 'sugars', 'powders', etc. to help with deciding. If you want to stay in the A/C and enjoy your bowl, there's tables and stools behind the bar.

When I want a cold treat, but something healthy @bowldegasuperfoods is my top choice! If you're looking for a break from this crazy Texas heat you simply can't go wrong with any or their base flavors + topping combos. My favorite is the Blue Majik with fresh berries, GF granola, bee pollen & powdered dragonfruit! Sooooooo delicious, you won't want to share! PROTIP: Take a large size home to enjoy on your coach or after the pool! Get your dry toppings on the side (so they stay crispy) and bring a small icebag.

A hidden gem! Tucked in the back of a beauty salon, I was pleasantly surprised by the stylists, pointing me in the right direction when I came through the door to their salon. The bowl making experience was great and I was walked through the process by a friendly guy who told me these were the best bowls in Dallas. I believe him! It was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Hello acai bowls!!!! Was craving these for dinner one night and found them on Uber Eats. Many orders and an in-person visit later, I'm still hooked! The bases are all so creamy. The acai is solid but the winner is definitely coconut (I have an unhealthy obsession with frozen coconut things though). It's so delicious, you start to think it's not healthy, but decide that you don't really want to know because it brings you tons of joy. Plenty of fresh fruit and delicious toppings, and love that they have peanut and almond butter drizzle. The granola options are great too! Definitely a treat yourself kind of meal, so much yum!!! One flag: depending on your COVID caution level, did notice that other customers weren't masking in the actual store (as of 2 weeks ago). The staff was all wearing masks and there's plenty of space for social distancing though!

    Grand opening!

Best açaí bowl in DFW! This was just what I needed after a long morning of being outside in the sun. The team was very friendly and welcomed me as soon as I walked in. I love that the menu is very simple so I didn't have to think long. I went with the açaí and coconut base with a few different toppings (see picture). There's a good mixture of toppings so you should def be able to find something your speed. Only took a few minutes to make and there's a good bit of seating if you want to eat in. I will be back for more soon!

AHmazing! The best, most fresh Açaí bowl I've ever had! I will be driving about 25 minutes to get to it, but it's 100% worth it.

    Ask the Community - Bowldega

Is this place still open and has it moved locations? They never answer the phone.

I tried to stop by their location on Harry Hines and was advised that they closed that location. They told me the one on Commerce should still be open.

    How is the parking situation?

This was also the first thing I ate after getting my braces off, and I couldn't have picked a better choice. The flavors were bright, and the balance of the chia pudding, fresh strawberries, pineapple, and Pitaya base was just right. The lady working there was super nice and helpful, which made the experience even better. Good treat and good service!

Had a really bizarre experience at this location in particular - a shame given that Everbowl has…read moresuch delicious bases and bowls! I arrived one day about 5 minutes before close (which, depending on your perspective, could be annoying of me as a customer, and I own that). The young employee working alone was serving a group of 4 ahead of me and asked why I was coming in so late. I apologized and asked if he was already closes, as his "Open" sign in the window was still lit, and he said no, it's fine. He then proceeded to serve the group ahead of me who ordered build-your-own ("Whatever") bowls, and with every ingredient they asked for, he would sigh and shake his head and ask them why they'd come so late in the day. When they went to pay, he told them emphatically, "Never, EVER come in that late again. Do NOT do that again." They looked understandably shocked. When it was my turn (which was quite a while later as service had been slow), I requested two of the same items - Blue Lagoon bowls. He turned to me with an "are-you-kidding" expression and said, "You want TWO bowls? Can't I just make you one?" While I do feel bad for arriving near closing time, I was still so surprised that I and the other customers were made to feel so unwelcome and at fault. I would have understood - and it would have been more reasonable - if he just said he was closing for the day, rather than chastising his customers. Perhaps he was a new hire, perhaps it was a stressful day, and it happens. The bowls were great, but this encounter has kept me from returning to this location ever since.
