An honest "Rey Eats" Review: $$ Me and my girlfriend love acai bowls, so we came here to try it out. Before we arrived we looked over the menu and even made an online order (without placing it), to see how much our bowls would come out to be and the options to do. The guy making the bowls and taking our order did not have great customer service. When I asked for a small bowl with three bases, he had a problem with it saying that he cannot do it, but online the option to have three bases for the small was available. Thus, I was adamant about it and ultimately finally got it done. The guy was awkward and had poor customer service. The remainder of my party saw this and decided to not order here because they do not want to deal with him. However, they do offer more flavors and variety than other acai places. While some of us ate, we heard another worker come in and started cashing out other customers. He seemed a lot nicer and more joyful. Overall, we would come back again because of their bowls and how much variety they have to offer. We hope to get someone a lot better though. Additional Notations: there is not a lot of street parking, so you may need to look for parking garages or lots nearby. The entrance of the building is hard to notice and we walked by it. read more

Wow! Never had anything like this before and a friend recommended I try out this new spot. Amazing! Got the blue majik base with honey granola, strawberries, blueberries, banana chips and almond shavings. Texture was smooth and this was a cold base so it was like ice cream. My friend and I tried this place for the first time. We finished eating it because we paid for it, but neither of us were impressed. It makes a cute pic for the gram, but once was enough for us. The amount of add-in/customization is really nice and it seems like they use quality ingredients. We tried pitaya + chia pudding and açaí. I found the smoothie part a bit icy and lacking in flavor like it was watered down. We went on a weekend around lunch and there wasn't anywhere to sit. Def had better smoothie bowls. read more

I ordered a pitaya bowl from DoorDash. I have ordered plenty of smoothie bowls from them before so I didn't expect any issues with quality. It took a while for the order to be prepared from the "pending" stage, no big deal. When I got it, it was actually too frozen. The smoothie portion is crunchy. It tastes freezer-burned. We accidentally arrived about two hours before the açaí part of the store opened but Tony, the owner, was gracious enough to help us anyway! We told him we'd never been there before so he explained the bases, that they get some ingredients straight from the Amazon. Y'all this place is a fresh as it gets! Five starts doesn't do this place justice! BEST açaí bowls we have ever had!!!! I had the coconut and half mango (omg!! Wow!! Soooo delicious!!), husband had the chocolate, daughter had the chocolate and son had the açaí. My daughter who has had açaí bowls from he West Coast to the East Coast also said it was the best bowl she has ever had. My son loved his and this was the first bowl my husband has ever had and he thought it was amazing. I only wish we would have found this gem on our first day in Dallas instead of our last day...because we would have come back each day. We will be back!! Just checked this place out today after craving an acai bowl and seeing rave reviews. All the reviews here are accurate. I haven't had such a good acai bowl in a long time! They definitely do not skimp out on the toppings! I love the variety and ability for customers to select whatever they want. I got acai and vanilla chia pudding with strawberries, bananas, almond butter, honey nut granola, cacao nibs, almonds, and sweet coconut- it was delicious! Service was fast and they were kind enough to give me a discount of $2 off, perks like that will get me coming back often. Prices are a bit steep but you do get the bang for your buck. Besides that I recommend, the prices are pretty reasonable if I do say so myself. Added: I'm pretty sure I asked if their granola was vegan and they said yes.
