The guy who dealt with me was nice. I asked for the 5w-30 Pennzoil, which is the only brand of oil they carry. They told me my air filter was good, which I knew. They checked my tires for me. There was a moment where it seemed the guy doing the change was having trouble with something and the guy upstairs had to help by pushing on something under my hood. My change cost $56, which is a lot, but it is quality stuff. This is a good place to come for a quick oil change.

Got there and there was a small line nothing too bad - I was honestly anticipating to wait upwards of a couple hours, but despite being short staffed and having a pileup of cars to also have their tires changed, they got to my car within an hour, and had my tires changed, filled up my washer fluid, checked the air in all tires and made sure I was good to go in less than 45 minutes. The service techs called the mechanic from across the parking lot and the vehicle would not start. There was no support in getting the vehicle towed or attempts made to reassure my wife. She and were both told repeatedly that "They had only done the services that were requested." When the tow truck we called arrived, the techs refused to open the bay door until my wife had paid. While the services may had been done, the car was not functional. An assessment at the dealership determined that the engine was seized. Attempts were made by both myself and the dealership to attain video of the service to determine what had occurred. Lube Town refused to share any evidence, which would have exonerated them as all they did was the services that were requested, claiming privacy. In the end, Lube Town did nothing and the dealership, without the additional evidence, did nothing. We were left with a repair bill totaling over $11000 for an engine rebuild. We will never use or recommend Lube Town again.

After my car (2007 Honda CR-V) sat at his shop for three weeks, with the repair timeline being moved multiple times, I was finally quoted $730 for the job, including the diagnostic and labor. That sounded fair, so I agreed. However, when I came to pick up the vehicle, I was presented with a final bill of $1,137.29, that's 55.79% more than what we discussed. When I questioned the increase, Omar claimed I had agreed to the new price, which I absolutely did not. A proper quote should reflect the actual cost unless something unexpected comes up, which was not the case here. To make matters worse, I asked him to show proof of the parts pricing, particularly the starter ($425.31), and he refused to provide any documentation. That's a huge red flag for any honest business. Also, the $165 diagnosis fee felt excessive, especially when the problem was already obvious (starter failure). In my experience, this was not a transparent or trustworthy transaction. I cannot recommend Westmount Auto or Omar's services to anyone. If you value honest pricing and clear communication, stay away.

The guys at Joyride all pitched in to find the issue and put hours and hours into finding the issue all at no additional cost to me. I don't know of any other place that would have stood behind their work even when the issue that came up had nothing to do with the work they performed. This shop is honest/fair/knowledgeable. A true gem of a shop for those of us who live in Varsity. Having said that I would travel from anywhere in the city to deal with this shop.

Just went to get an oil change and that's all that was required. Told me all my other fluids and air filter was fine. The guy who seemed to be in charge double checked all the work done to make sure it was done properly. They even tightened the nuts on one of my tires, which was recently taken off and put back on due to a flat. I'm sure they could have charged me an extra $5 but they didn't. And I have a headlight out. He discovered it wasn't the bulb but the connector. Didn't charge me the $5 for the work to check it out. I've been consistent coming here for my oil changes for the past little while and they have not disappointed me.

There's enough space in the parking lot that you could actually form one line and go to the next available space which is WAY faster. Chances are you'll just confuse and upset other cars in the lineup though. I went on a warm Sunday afternoon and it was always full but never overly lined up. I waited between 5-10 for the door to open and then another 20 or so for the oil change, new air filter and windshield wipers. All of this came out to around the $150 mark. As someone who usually changes their own oil, I was a bit shocked, but when you stop to think about what's involved in the whole the price is pretty fair. $70 for an oil change including the oil (regardless of vehicle size) and a new filter. That's basically the same as a tank of gas. Well, for me it is. Maybe I should consider a more economical vehicle, but that's a conversation for another day. If you don't like waiting in your vehicle, they've got a few comfy chairs to sit in and a coffee machine to keep you occupied. There's no real cool businesses nearby to hang out in for a few minutes, but if you're hungry you could use the time to pick up some Ginger Beef Express or Subway. First ever experience with a drive in lube shop (still makes me laugh to say,) and for the price VS the time it saves me, I'm sure I'll be back in the future.

Up until recently I would have given this place 5 stars. They were broken into and all of the keys…read morefor every vehicle in the lot (under thier care) was stolen. My mom's vehicle was the only one stolen at the time and we were luckily able to recover it. The autoshop has told us that they will not help my mom any further after recutting her keys (not replacing the chip, so the cars alarm system doesn't work properly now). They said it's up to us and it's not thier problem since thier insurance won't cover it. I was advised that it's the car owners problem because it was in thker lot and not thier immediate premises. What's frustrating is that the keys were stolen out of thier shop. The car was stolen and in gross condition and they don't even have the decency to clean it out or help get rid of the awful smells. Great service if you need mechanical help, just don't expect anything more can a C6A (cover you ass) if someone wrong happens. We won't be going back here. Shame because it's in our neighborhood.
