Without going into a lot of detail, I had heard nothing but good things about this facility so I…read moredecided to send my minor daughter here. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was when I went to drop some clothes off for her. They told me a specific time that I was to come so that she would not be outside and would not see me and get upset. Well guess who was outside the second I pulled in the driveway? My daughter, she tried running up to me and they physically grabbed her to pull her back. I was extremely upset, she was extremely upset, but somehow they talked me into letting her stay. My third mistake was believing them when they told me there would be absolutely no way for her to exit the building. So imagine my surprise that after the third day of her being there I got a phone call at 3 o'clock in the morning from my daughter who was on Pontiac Street and had somehow left the facility in the middle of the night. Needless to say I was this close to filing charges on this facility, but I decided not to as my daughter's health and sobriety was more important at the time. I do not recommend anyone go here regardless of all the ads and commercials you see with patients raving about how wonderful this facility is and what an amazing person "Jason" is. Whoever "Jason" is I have no idea. I'm pretty confident these are paid actors as I have yet to meet anyone who has had a positive experience with this facility. I wish I had done my research but I was desperate at the time to get my daughter some help. There is absolutely nothing that can be said by any staff or owners that can make this horrific situation any better. Please do your homework before sending your loved one or yourself to this awful place. Edit: I forgot to mention that my daughter was bullied by three other patients because she was the youngest on her floor. Her belongings were stolen, she was called names and no one did anything about it. My apologies she had just turned 18 the day before so technically no she was not a minor. Edit 2: thank you Sharon for responding however your staff did put their hands on my daughter, your staff also reassured me multiple times that she would not be able to leave the building on her own without someone notifying me. Although you state these things do not happen and you do not allow these things to happen, they did indeed happen

Personally, not a fan of this particular behavioral health center. I was a patient here for three…read moredays. I signed a AMA to get released before my three days so once you sign that paperwork within 24 hours, somebody is supposed to come talk to you and then release you however they waited almost 2 full days before sending someone to talk to me by that time. I only had a day left and did not see any therapist or have any medication given to me. The day I was leaving, they prescribed me medicine 20 minutes before I left so they had no idea how the medicine was going to react to me and sent me about my way. I also had an incident inside the building where I started to feel nauseous and went to the bathroom to throw up somehow I ended up on the floor. The nurses did not really care at all. Nobody gave me any sort of medical attention besides asking if I was OK. I proceeded to throw up from almost 8 months straight after leaving the facility because not a single provider gave me proper medical attention. I personally wouldn't even send a dog here. Don't know how this place is still functioning because if it was up to me, I would shut it down.

I was fortunate enough to choose Dr. Andrew Yoder for my ADHD testing…read more I've been to many counselors & I've always hated it for their lack of decorum or ability to see me for who I am. This was a better experience than I could have expected or hoped for! Dr. Yoder is very professional. The questionnaire you do for ADHD is very personal and yet I never felt judged at any time. During our telehealth session (That's what I think they are called anyway.) , he continued with the next question as if everything I said was perfectly natural. I felt seen & heard. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. (Not used to that at all!) I will be able to start ADHD medicine soon and I'm excited to get my extreme highs down and be able to function without feeling so bad about myself. I was initially frustrated that I couldn't speak to a receptionist, as we all know what it's like to wonder if we can expect a call back at all from most places. Don't be upset if you have to leave a voice message. They WILL call you back and will treat you with kindness & respect. I would not hesitate to use Feathergill & Associates in the future.
