This was my first time coming for a tree here, and man was it unorganized. I went the day after Thanksgiving, so maybe it was just ironing the hiccups, but the process was basically a free for all. They managed car flow onto the property to ensure parking, but once you were past the front gate, it was hectic. It's a very muddy one road in, with no one directing traffic. You would have cars trying to exit and enter at the same time, sliding in mud, getting stuck etc. as people try to work the right of way themselves. Once I parked, I had no idea where to go or start. I just watched other people, and did what they did. You just grab a saw, go find a tree and cut it. No signs, employees were hard to distinguish from customers, so didn't even know who to ask. Kids running around, no set path, just chaos in a muddy parking lot.
Once I got the tree, it was still confusion. Do I pay extra for netting? How do they know what tree I have? Etc. All the trees are the same price, which is helpful when paying, but kind of sucks when you want a small 2-3 foot tree, but have to pay 6 foot prices.
The tree is gorgeous, and overall the experience was good, just the unorganized mess of a process is what the only three star review is for. Maybe it was the hiccups of being the first day? Idk, but they should get a better, organized system. read more
