From answering ALL of our many questions, to responding within minutes each time we reached out, to anticipating and heading off potential underwriting issues to avoid unpleasant surprises, they couldn't have been more helpful and professional. The home loan world can be a foreign and imposing place. I feel very lucky that Prime Lending handled my loan, especially under the circumstances. As a first time home buyer, I was completely green to the process. I couldn't have asked for a better company to guide me through. With Prime Lending's help, I was able to take my home from a complete dark and dank gut-job to a warm, inviting space that people compliment the moment they enter. So, when interest rates dropped and I wanted to shoot for a lower monthly APR, I went back to Prime Lending. My refinance loan spanned the first year of the pandemic, when I unexpectedly and suddenly became unemployed. We had already gone through 99% of the process when this happened. Jeff was incredibly sensitive and understanding. Since I had already paid for a home appraisal, he said he would not charge me again when the time came. He kept his word 7 months later, when I was back to being employed in the fall and we once again started the refi process. As fate would have it, I got a better rate--so there were some silver linings to waiting, as well. In a business where money can make people jaded and unpleasant, Jeff is quite simply an honest and kind person. With his leadership, he fosters a team that instills confidence that you are making the right choices and can trust the people handling your loan. I have mixed feelings about this location based on two recent experiences - one being great and one…read morebeing not so great. My first experience was because I lost my debit card and needed a new one printed. The teller that assisted me was great, although a bit pushy with "selling me" on mortgage loans, car loans, etc. I get it though - that's her job. She was helpful when discussing PNC employee benefits (my fiance is an employee) on loans and such for the future. My second recent experience was because I lost my debit card again (must have been having a rough week lol). It was a different teller this time. While I appreciate that I was in and out pretty quick with my new card, it was not a good experience after I left. I had 10 errands to run immediately after leaving the bank. My card was getting declined one store after another, causing me to use a credit card. I couldn't understand what was happening until it dawned on me - the teller never asked me which bank account my new debit card was for and therefore, connected it to the incorrect account. I'm a little confused why he didn't verify which account, especially because the one he connected it to has zero dollars in it (I do not use this account hardly ever) vs. my normal account with money in it. This may seem like a minor mistake but every single bill I have is connected to one account and so then, all of my bills were bouncing because of this - a total nightmare. When I think back on the appointment, the teller was friendly but like I said, it was a quick appointment and I'm now remembering that he told me how he lost his debit card recently at a bar... Now, I hate to complain because I'm young and fun (in my opinion lol) but discussing the bar during a banking meeting isn't very professional and now led to all of these issues with my debit card. Overall, I guess I would return but will be very, very cautious of who the teller is and making sure I verify everything that they are doing. Honestly though, I will probably go to a different location because in my opinion, money is not to be messed with.

We needed to obtain a cashier's check, and although it was around lunchtime, no other customers were ahead of us in line. The teller and his manager were very helpful and polite. They checked our identification and debit card, and then they created the cashier's check in the correct amount for the correct payee. As we were walking out of the building, another employee thanked us for coming and said goodbye. This location of PNC also has a few lanes in their drive-thru.

Period!! There are so many things that I could say about John Lippello and his proficiency as a loan officer for Prospect Mortgage. Words that come to mind immediately are; integrity; true/innate understanding of what it takes to obtain a mortgage loan; a savvy expert to focus on you and your goals; integrity (again); personalized attention with a honest assessment of what you need to know and do. In my particular case and experience with John was obtaining a home equity loan to get myself out of a very difficult financial situation that had occurred during 2014 while buying one property and selling another. I ended up by the end of 2014 with a very low credit score and was on the verge of bankruptcy. Upon initially meeting with John, April 2015, he reviewed my situation with me one-on-one. At that point I was floundering with no direction or knowledge of how to go about dealing with my credit and financial. I was truly lost. As he went through the information you could see he was bringing his skills and knowledge to my particular case. His knowledge as a loan officer and the real estate market and his analytical skills cut strait to the issue(s) for my case. He printed a copy of my credit record, at his cost, and went through it for over an hour with me. He gave me the strait up truth on what I had to do and did not charge me for it. WHO does this today????? BTW I went to a "credit repair" company August of 2014. All that happen from that was I lost $600. So meeting John was truly a blessing. I mean that sincerely. Subsequently he made the recommendations with reasons on how to change the direction I was going in, and to a direction for a successfully obtain a home equity loan. Words cannot begin to express the relief that I felt after walking out of that meeting with him. He had instilled in me a confidence that out of my financially distress!! I had the confidence that he knew what needed to be done and how to go about it. Once again words cannot describe how relived I was to be his client. However, there is another aspect to his personality that I must discuss. That is his truly altruistic and empathetic nature to really sympathize with others, a truly rare quality in this business. John Lippello's commission for what he did for me did not even come close for the time and "hand holding" that he gave to me. He stood by myside from April 2015 to October 2016, while making very little commission. As my father would say, "Now that's a good guy". In summary, as you read this review, please give careful considerations to what I have written. I assure you as you search for a loan officer, give John the consideration for the reasons discussed as I assure you that you will be very very pleased.
