I'm not vegan but I like a lot of vegan dishes because they're very tasty and many times super healthy. We ordered pita wrapped falafel and shawarma sandwiches along with fries & poutine. We also got vegan baklava too. Wow what a lunch. Definitely enjoyed it and would certainly recommend this place especially if you're vegan. They have a lot of stuff and even if you're not vegan, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the food. The flavors are probably amazing.

They offer plates, sandwiches, wraps, and other items, mostly Middle Eastern style but they push the boundaries. I ordered plate with vegan shawarma ("beef") and kebab ("chicken"), which came with salad and rice ($15.99 plus tax). I got a massive bowl. Very generous portion of both types of vegan meat, fresh salad leaves among other veggies, a big portion of yellow rice underneath, and a dollop of what seemed like vegan tzatziki or something. Everything was absolutely delicious. Super friendly service, reasonably priced, generous portions, delicious food -- what more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Food: It was THE MOST DELICIOUS meal I had in a while! We ordered many different meals as we both didn't want to cook tonight and felt like trying something different. I am obsessed with their Mantoo .. it's these savoury beef dumplings with an amazing sauce to die for it was Deeelicious. I got the shawarma plate, which came with salad, fries, hummus, and a garlic spread super satisfying and felt like a great deal. I love when a place gives you a salad and a side with your main--it makes the meal feel complete. The vibe is also great. They've got outdoor seating and a cool indoor/outdoor setup where the wall opens up, so it was perfect on a warm summer day. Only downside was it took a while to get the bill. Looked like only two people were working and things started getting busy. It didn't really bother me since I wasn't in a rush, but if you're on a tight schedule, just something to keep in mind. Overall, awesome spot--good food, good portions, and a nice place to hang.

Unfortunately three of the items we wanted to try were not available (shrimp, brussel sprouts and baklava ice cream), so we had hummus, hummus with meat, and cauliflower, all excellent. Then came the two orders of kibbeh balls. These were the worst we have ever had. The kibbeh balls were overcooked and dry, so much so that we couldn't cut them with a knife or hold them with a fork. This left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Despite returning them, the owner agreed to not charge us for only one of the orders. Still, we had to pay for an order that we couldn't eat. Our main meal, grilled chicken and beef brochette, was dry and very overcooked. Another big disappointment. For desert, we had the Kanafeh with Pistachio Cream, and that was addictive and a great way to end an average meal. Will not be returning, except for coffee and desert.
