Stopped by to check it out. Priscilla was behind the bar and did a great job getting us served with all the people basically ordering at once. We decided to dip our toes in the water trying out their food. We ordered tuna poke nachos which was delicious, definitely going back for that. The tv on the wall is probably the size of one used in a stadium. B's tip don't sit on the west side of the bar. My wife's back was on fire from the sun which automatically meant my back was on fire as we switched seats. We decided to go and watch some NCAA games and will the bill came and we questioned the non HH pricing, we were told "oh, there is no happy hour on big game days." Was just there yesterday to celebrate a friends graduation and we all fell in love with the place. Not only is super clean and nice inside the service, drinks, and food matched the atmosphere. Our server Nikki was amazing always paying attention to the details. She took great care of us and helped us make our friend feel special for her graduation. We got free shots and even a champagne bottle with a sign and confetti. I haven't had a good time at a place like this in a while including when the food and drinks are also amazing. Do not give this place your money. Went here on Saturday night to meet a few people and watch the end of the Georgia v Alabama game. Waited 20minutes just to be let inside. In line I was with a group of 4 including my brother and his fiancé as well as myself and my fiancé. Once we finally got to the door the bouncer decided to begin letting my group in, he decided to aggressively hold me back. He allowed 15 people to cut in front of me and tried to hold me back. I told the guy 5 times that was my group and it wasn't until my brother's fiancé and my fiancé got in the bouncers ear that he let me in. My fiancé told me the bouncer kept sizing me up while we were waiting in line which I didn't notice but seems like he obviously had some issues. I should mention the guy checked my groups ID's when we got to the front and we waited another 5minutes until this all started. During that time is when my fiancé mentioned he kept sizing me up. The 15 people he let in didn't even show ID's since he was to busy holding be back. Cover was $5 for guys free for girls. I am a young father only getting out on the weekends so often. There are plenty of places (especially on the ave) that you don't have to deal with this kind of BS. You can barely walk around, it is nearly impossible to get a drink, and the bouncer is an a-hole. read more

Great place to watch the game, but the manager disrespectfully took our table before time is up and moved it to a position that made it difficult for anyone to walk through the bar, which was most likely a fire hazard. Though I was out of his way, he pumped into me twice and blamed me. When I called him a jerk for being rude, he kicked me out. I don't do reviews but every once in a while you come across a place that makes you want to. 10/10 all around from the service to the vibe. Scott accommodated our large group the day-of. He was super responsive and professional. The actual space was massive, good air flow, and huge tv's everywhere you look. The vibe and music were for everyone. Our servers were non-stop attentive from clearing out trash and drinks from the table to making sure we had ice and glasses. Food was good and the Guava Daiquiri was delicious. Service is friendly and accommodating. We were there on a Friday night, and DJ PS1 was so fun! And a live sax player came out, he was amazing! I can't rate the food because there wasn't any service to order the food. There is no point of having a huge tv screen if you let people stand in front of it. Also the other customers are extremely rude as they put their feet on the seats and nobody tells them to sit down. Bad sports bar and it doesn't look good with them trying to be a night club by having dancers hold ups signs to buy shots. Bartenders are great. Magement not great. Security is terrible. My wife was attacked at the " Shaboozy" concert. Which actually as just DJ remixes. More importantly we were attacked by a couple who were pushing on us all night. I did ask the guy ask where he was from. He said Lebanon, we fist pumped and I said I was Jewish. 1 hour later his ( date) maybe life was pestering my life with her hand on her head, etc, then tried to fight. Long but it may save you time and money. I gave management the same feedback in person. He was cordial and receptive. As we had already paid, he couldn't comp the bill nor did he offer any financial incentive to try them again. My wife says she isn't going back. Big hype about this place. Very anxious to try as a true Sport's Bar is elusive in the Atlantic Avenue area. My wife made a reservation for 5PM on a Tuesday. We arrived on time and the very gracious and sweet hostess accommodated us right away. We went to the bar for a drink before siting down. There were two bartenders on duty. They seemed very new to the profession as they were all thrust and no vector. The bar seating was about 70% full. They could have both worked the East and West sides individually and covered it. They didn't. We waited for 5 minutes as these two walked all around accomplishing seemingly very little. Neither of them acknowledged us. Common sense dictates a "Hi, I will be right with you!". We never got that. As a matter of fact, neither lady even made eye contact with the party of three standing at the bar waiting to spend money and tip 25%. We gave up and went to the table. The waitress was solidly average, but felt bad at the end of our short visit. She is just new IMO and will hopefully gain confidence and people skills as she gains experience. Let's talk furnishings: Whomever was responsible for picking out the table and bar seating for this location has obviously NEVER spent hours watching sports and running up a big tab at an actual sports bar. It literally looked like Barbie decorated this "sports bar". I am sure they spend a small fortune. But, it was awfully impractical. The bar stools are VERY small in the seat. My wife and her friend are average size ladies and they even said they were ridiculously small and uncomfortable. I am 6'0 and 250. No way I can do it for more than 5-10 minutes. What you NEED as a "sports bar" is a large and comfortable bar stool with a good foot rest where a guy or gal of average size can sit all afternoon and night running up a HUGE tab watching sports on your very large and nice TV's (the only bright spot). Not happening here. Same goes for the table seats; completely impractical and all form over function (the theme of the decorator). I cannot believe the owners paid them and bought off on this design. Maybe it was a family member or friend? They completely missed the mark! So, back to the table and ordering food. My friend and I ordered the cabernet off the Social Hour menu (Happy Hour to most). It was chilled to 37 degrees (cabs should be 54 degrees up to room temperature) and obviously came out of a refrigerator vice wine fridge. It was flat out awful. It tasted like cold communion wine from last Sunday. My wife got the Spicey Cindy. She loved it. Nice job! We ordered brussel sprouts, the cauliflower, the harvest bowl salad and the Kale Caesar with shrimp. After a few minutes, our server returned to tell us that they were out of some menu items and started with the harvest salad. I cut her off before she got too far down the list as I had had enough of all the indicators that this place is still in soft open mode. I said we were leaving and to please bring the check. I asked her to send the GM over. Not sure if he was the MOD or GM. He was polite, empathetic and listened. He told us that they had actually switched menus and were prepared to serve off the new one BUT the menus had not been received yet from the printer. Wait, what? How about typing up a menu you have food for in the freezer and going to the FedEx office store to print 100? The outcome was the restaurant was not able to serve all the items on what was an outdated and irrelevant menu. How can an owner tolerate this type of total failure? I guess Sliders and wings must be on the new menu as I saw some at the bar. Not an option for us. We went to another spot on the Avenue. Another party left after ten minutes right behind us. This place will NOT survive if the owner does not intervene NOW! read more
