Great new concept in Copenhagen. Play a round of boule and have dinner afterwards - or vice versa. The boule lanes are right next to the tables, so it's easy to combine them. You can play on your own or get a guide to help you with the game.
We had a guide to give us a quick 2 min rules intro. He also helped by serving drinks and snacks. Very helpful and attentive.
The food is of course French. We got the classic moules frites and pariserbøf (not so sure if that's actually French).
Both were very nicely presented and prepared. Not huge dishes, but definitely enough for us. The fries were wonderfully crisp. So good marks for the food. The wine was, on the other hand, not that impressive. We had the Bourgogne, which was not up to par, when you put it up against its 590kr prince tag. So many better Pinot noirs out there. Too weak and without character. A real Frenchman wouldn't serve that wine.
The service was also a bit under par. We literally had to wave and walk towards the waiters to place an order. Mind you, there were only 4 occupied tables and 4 waiters. They were highly interested in their computer, which they were all looking at, but not at us. The head waiter had an impressive skill where he was able to stand about a meter from us and not notice that we were trying to get his attention, but looked right through us. They should really pay more attention if they want to make some money.
I almost wanted to give a 3 because of the poor service, but the food was fine and the service at the boule lanes were excellent, so they get a 4 (more a 3,5) read more
