Absolutely fantastic, handles great. It's not touchy. Definitely easier to drive than the Lamborghini. Some people also do a ride along in a hellcat and there is drifting so if you get motion sickness you probably want to sit out. Because it's wild. I also want to add. Its best to get your money worth paying for 5 laps not 2. By lap 2 you get used to the car then you have to exit. So pay the extra. Regardless I highly recommend doing this if you're in Vegas. Last little detail.. You can pay for the video of you driving the car. It does end up in spam an you do need to download from a computer because it won't download on the phone. The file is too big. Again big shout to Abe.

We visited SPEEDVEGAS to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and while the idea is exciting, the…read moreoverall experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. The main issue is the value for money. We paid around $300 for 5 laps, but 2 of those are essentially warm-up laps, so you don't really get the full driving experience. On top of that, the instructor constantly limits your speed, so you never fully feel the power of the car. Right from the start, you're encouraged to purchase additional laps, with the explanation that the experience will go by very quickly -- which it does. We ended up buying 2 extra laps for about $70, which also felt expensive for such a short track. The track itself is quite small, so the laps feel very short. You barely have time to get into the experience before it's over. The whole activity was advertised as a two-hour experience, but in reality, we were done in less than an hour, including about 15 minutes of waiting before even getting started. They also offer an in-car video for an additional cost, which I personally don't think is worth it. It's just a basic dashcam-style recording inside the car. For the price of the experience -- especially for special occasions like a birthday -- something like this could easily be included or at least made more creative and memorable. Overall, by the end of the visit, the total cost ended up being significantly higher than expected, almost double the original price. I'm giving this two stars for the concept and potential. It could be an amazing experience, but in its current state, the pricing, track size, and overall execution don't quite justify the cost. I would consider coming back if there were noticeable improvements.

We usually drive thru these lights every year(and we did) but wow it so fun to walk it! My hubby played music so we could enjoy holiday tunes while we meandered. Great job by everyone. Parking was set up right across from the lights entry. We had so much fun getting pumped up by the dJ/MC and the Marching band and the cheer leaders and all the raffles and photo OPPs. Everyone was in the festive mood and dressed for the occasion. This fun supports the children's charity and a lot of people brought children's pjs to donate. If you haven't done this yet. Put it on your list of must dos this year. I recommend. See you out there!

This year the kids sat on the back of the truck bed and enjoyed their hot chocolate looking at all the lights from a great view. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a festive activity. Also Motor Speedway has more going on than most people realize, depending on the season and events. There is the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity & Truck races. Drag racing at The Strip at LVMS. Dirt track racing (sprint cars, late models) Motorcycle & off-road events also Amateur and regional racing events. For seasonal events there is Glittering Lights (holiday drive-through light show) which is what we went to this evening. There is car shows & auto expos, Monster truck shows, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) grounds that is nearby. Festivals, concerts, and large-scale events. There is something going on all the time.

Oh, the sweet smell of exhaust. How I have missed it. The last opportunity I had to go to a short…read moretrack race was in Summer 2019. 2020 was a bust. But 2021 is a new year with new opportunities. The Pahrump Valley Speedway is the closest short track speedway to Vegas that is currently up and running. I would normally go to the Bullring at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for my racing fix but they are still shuttered from what I can tell. So, Pahrump it is. One major difference to point out about Pahrump Valley, it is a dirt track. Imagine that, dirt in the desert. It doesn't get much more pure than a short dirt track to throw back to the early days of NASCAR. You've got guys running hard and fast in a variety of cars sliding around the high banks for the win. Its loud. Its dusty. Its exhilarating. This track is anything but fancy. Its old and looks a little run down. Aged wood structures. Wooden bench bleachers with no backs. Low level lighting in the turns on track. Absolutely zero lighting in the parking lot. There is a concession stand serving up burgers, hot dogs, pretzels, snacks, and drinks. It's a small and unpretentious facility. And a good bit of fun. I enjoyed my night out last night. It was the first "event" since the pandemic. It felt good to get out. That said, I do not intend to come here often. I mean, it is quite far from Henderson. A few more visits when I feel the need for a good dirt track race is not out of the question though.

This humble little dirt track in Pahrump, Nevada, offers some good races throughout the year…read more I wish that they didn't mess around and lose racers like they did last year, but that's a whole 'nother story. (Yes, read it like a redneck, gosh durn it.) One thing is for certain - I love racing. I love racing drama. Bring it on! But don't take a driver out just 'cause you can 'cause we can all tell who the better driver is. Ev'rybody and they mamas get madder than hornets when a driver single-handily takes out another driver. And understandably so. There is just as much smack talking in the stands - IF NOT MORE - as there is with the pit crews. Bring a cushion or some blankets to sit on in the bleachers. Bring your own food, snacks, peanuts, pistachios, and... ear plugs or muffs for the kids. The modifieds and the sport modifieds get loud, but most adults handle it okay. The kids LOVE to run down next to the start/finish line at the end of each race. Let them do it. The younger drivers are shy and won't get out to greet them, but the old guys sometimes do. It's a safe track for fans. Most of the races start quickly. Not too much lag time. The tow truck they had back in February 2019 looked it needed a tow truck. Can't y'all afford a new one? Now, I know that the time you book won't be the exact start time, but I appreciate that they try to limit how many people can join a time slot. We waited maybe 15 minutes in line to check-in, then had our briefing. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. I will say, the karts don't have a reverse button, not that I could see. So when someone crashed into a barrier, they were stuck waiting for an employee to get them back on the track. I did like the screen display with my name and placement on the kart. Placement is based on best lap time. You can purchase your POV video for $10/race and it will be emailed to you. Overall, we had so much fun! I would recommend and we will be back. It's a convenient location for us too! The only reason I gave this place 4 & not 5 stars is because it is pricier. It was about $20-$35 more than racing with K1 (using a 2 race, 2 person experience as reference). We paid $143 for 2 races, 2 people. It was $65/person + $13 in taxes and fees. In comparison, K1 is $54/person + $7/person (annual "license") + $0 in taxes and fees. It would be $108 without the license, and $122 with the license. Even with the price difference, my preference is still Vegas SuperKarts. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
