Its best to get your money worth paying for 5 laps not 2. By lap 2 you get used to the car then you have to exit. So pay the extra. Regardless I highly recommend doing this if you're in Vegas. Last little detail.. You can pay for the video of you driving the car. It does end up in spam an you do need to download from a computer because it won't download on the phone. The file is too big. We paid around $300 for 5 laps, but 2 of those are essentially warm-up laps, so you don't really get the full driving experience. On top of that, the instructor constantly limits your speed, so you never fully feel the power of the car. Right from the start, you're encouraged to purchase additional laps, with the explanation that the experience will go by very quickly -- which it does. We ended up buying 2 extra laps for about $70, which also felt expensive for such a short track. The track itself is quite small, so the laps feel very short. You barely have time to get into the experience before it's over. The whole activity was advertised as a two-hour experience, but in reality, we were done in less than an hour, including about 15 minutes of waiting before even getting started. They also offer an in-car video for an additional cost, which I personally don't think is worth it. It's just a basic dashcam-style recording inside the car. For the price of the experience -- especially for special occasions like a birthday -- something like this could easily be included or at least made more creative and memorable. Overall, by the end of the visit, the total cost ended up being significantly higher than expected, almost double the original price. I'm giving this two stars for the concept and potential. It could be an amazing experience, but in its current state, the pricing, track size, and overall execution don't quite justify the cost. I would consider coming back if there were noticeable improvements.

The 1.3 mile track features 10 turns, a 2000ft straight, and F1-spec safety barriers. Car rentals start at $249 for 5 laps and go up to $549 for a Ferrari 488 Pista or Porsche GT2. Multiple car packages and additional laps are available. I booked 10 laps in a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS and 7 laps in a Porsche 991 GT3RS. On prior visits, I drove a Porsche Cayman GT4, a Ferrari 488 GTB and a Porsche 992 GT3. My favorite car has been the Cayman GT4, probably because it's closest to my own 718 Boxster GTS 4.0. It was a sunny, 100+ degree day and my reservation was at 9am. For some reason I was dog slow on this day ... I couldn't get in sync with the car or the track. Turn 3 continued to be my nemesis ... mess up this turn and you're out of position for the esses that follow. I couldn't even find a rhythm for turn 10, my favorite. As a result, my time was 5+ seconds slower than on my prior visit. Switching to the 991 GT3RS improved my times by 3sec, but still way off the pace. In contrast, the 'hot shoe' of the day lapped the track 12sec faster. What did I spend? $1,281.60 on car rental, lap videos, and tips. Was it worth it? A resounding YES. My hubby played music so we could enjoy holiday tunes while we meandered. Great job by everyone. Parking was set up right across from the lights entry. We had so much fun getting pumped up by the dJ/MC and the Marching band and the cheer leaders and all the raffles and photo OPPs. Everyone was in the festive mood and dressed for the occasion. This fun supports the children's charity and a lot of people brought children's pjs to donate. If you haven't done this yet. Put it on your list of must dos this year. I recommend. This year the kids sat on the back of the truck bed and enjoyed their hot chocolate looking at all the lights from a great view. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a festive activity. Also Motor Speedway has more going on than most people realize, depending on the season and events. There is the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity & Truck races. Drag racing at The Strip at LVMS. Dirt track racing (sprint cars, late models) Motorcycle & off-road events also Amateur and regional racing events. For seasonal events there is Glittering Lights (holiday drive-through light show) which is what we went to this evening. There is car shows & auto expos, Monster truck shows, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) grounds that is nearby. Festivals, concerts, and large-scale events. There is something going on all the time.

They did share that I should get there 30 mins. before my scheduled time of 1:15-2:15 which I did. And then I and others waited and waited. The lady doing our check in alluded to the fact that they were short of staff that day. We had to do a training and safety session before the driving. Then there was another delay as they needed to get fuel into the cars. I was not even able to run the car until 3 pm! So they were at least 1 hour late or more. Then during my first run I accidentally pressed the brake (the fit inside a drag race car is extremely tight). I got chastised by a guy who turned out to be Doug Foley. He made me run the same distance again. After my 3rd run, I was forced to get out EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T RUN THE ¼ mile WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT of the program I paid for-that is why you drive a drag race car-it's all about the ¼ mile! They could have allowed me to do the final run-it would have taken just 5-10 more minutes-this is after all of the delays. The guy who was the trainer and the starter apologized and said I just needed call the toll free # and they would reschedule me in the future since I already paid. That made no sense-that could cost me another at least another 2-3 hours sometime in the future and who knows when this clown show would come back on tour in town! I asked to talk to who was in charge-Doug Foley. Frankly he was just rude and would not budge. In short, the whole situation was an utter fiasco. Customer service? This guy just didn't care. I reiterated that they were short of staff and running very, very late. He had no reaction at all-pathetic.
