Cab franc

This place is very cute and homey. It's like sitting in my own backyard...the porch. They have the cheese shop where u can go and sample cheeses and order cheese and meats but they also have several cheese and meat trays u can choose from if u don't want to think. The wines are good. The rose bubbly was my favorite, the cab franc was also good. Very nice afternoon to just chill and excellent service!! Reasonably priced wine. Will go back here.

Such a cute space and I love the dog friendly outdoor patio in the back. We came for an event but I've been wanting to check this place out. It looks like a little yellow house from the outside that is a bit easy to miss but once you come in it's a super inviting space. The outdoor patio has a good amount of seating and is very clean. We only had wine but they did have sodas and beer as options. They brought out charcuterie boards that were also delicious and very pretty. We will definitely be back!

Lovely little cheese shop in La Mesa. We went on a Friday for lunch and sat in their cute back patio. We had the place to ourselves until around noon when another party arrived. I hope they'll get more people. We ordered the picnic plate which was my favorite. We also ordered the cheddar plate, meat plate, and Bleu cheese plate. Evening was really good. I will ask for more crackers next time. We ordered everything online using their QR code. There was a nice lady manning the wine bar in the back patio. You pay for the wines separately. They had a nice selection.

Wanted to LOVE this place so bad because it's walking distance to us but we finally tried it…read moretonight and - no. We won't be ordering again sadly. It was expensive (over $70 for 2 18-in pizzas) and all 4 adults agreed it was bland. We got the rosemary potato and margherita, which was especially bad. There were actually sections on the marg with no cheese at all - just sauce on dough, and the fresh mozz used was so sparingly it wasn't even detectable. (My 2 year old however, loved it, because she usually pulls the cheese off anyway lol.) The basil was also nonexistent, a few dots on the whole thing. The rosemary potato was lacking in flavor as well - THICK bready crust with nothing to balance it out (more sauce or cheese?) so it felt dry and hard to finish. Honestly both pizzas needed salt, which was interesting because they were two different sauces altogether. Other than the bummer pizza, it took so long to try it bc their hours were so unpredictable - closed Saturdays, sometimes a Friday, Tuesday? Another time, Google (and ordering apps) had the "opening" time listed as 9:30 PM... Even today (Labor Day) I called and they said "open til 8 but take our last order at 4:45pm." What?? I also tried to order on DoorDash but they didn't have the potato pizza on there?? Also the pepperoni was $37 on their site but $28 on door dash. The whole business aspect just seems like a mess. Worth mentioning bc it is not advertised anywhere but it's totally vegetarian. Buffalo, Hawaiian, all without meat. Pepperoni pizza only available with plant based fake pepperoni. Happy I ordered bc my husband totally missed that and would've been annoyed by it if we ordered it mistakenly.

It sounded good but we also weren't really feeling like going "out" and something that could be delivered or that we could pick up seemed like the better play. All the typical poke places showed up when we searched but none of them really sold us. Well, good thing I remembered that Valley Farm's poke game is strong... really strong. Believe me, I know that those of you who don't know Valley Farm will likely say "really?" when I detail that this sleepy little Spring Valley market kicks out poke as good as anywhere else in SD, but it's true. It's a sleeper of a choice but the quality and price will make you a fan, trust me.

It just tasted like salmon coated in some kind of sesame oil. I still ate it with snacking seaweed but I would not buy again. -Hatch chile Caesar wrap, I liked that the wrap was soft and not soggy. Chicken was grilled and diced, lettuce was crunchy and hatch chile tasted grilled and notably cold, came with Caesar dressing on the side. There was nothing wrong with the ingredients but together it just made a very underwhelming wrap, I didn't really taste any flavor from the wrap even with the help of the dressing. I also would not buy again. Ambiance 5/5 -They had a lot of ready-to-eat food options, both hot and cold. Even though I didn't like what I got this time, I'm open to come back and try other things they have.

Staff in the deli side were nice and helpful. The pizza side not so much. The sandwich was ready faster than my pizza slices. They had a ton of by the slice pizza's to choose from. They have seating inside in the pizza area with a tv that has sports on it. The interior had a cute pizza parlor vibe. Tried: Cheese pizza $6 - good, lots of cheese, but crust was tough and chewy. Whole lotta ties turkey sandwich $14 - good flavor, liked the Italian dressing. Bread was super tough and chewy.

Although they offer breakfast sandwiches and burritos, I instead had a bowl of tortilla soup, a small spinach pie, and a curry potato potato pie. The tortilla soup came generously filled with tender chicken and had a good flavor. The soup was of the thicker variety. I would recommend they use a thicker corn tortilla chip, so that it would hold up in the soup better and keep its crunchiness. Both pies were savory and tasty. The spinach pie came with a melee of sauteed spinach and onions. They added fete cheese to the pie as well. The curry and potato pie was great. The curry flavor was very good and the potato was soft with small potato morsels that still offered a tender bite. These little pies came with a soft, bready, and mild crust. The gents working at the cafe when I visited were super nice and welcoming. They offer a good amount of inside seating. They serve the Allied Plaza Building and visitors from the surrounding community. They are also a full espresso bar offering espresso based beverages. There's plenty of visitor parking.

I sound like I'm in a cult, but I would join their cult if they had one - I'm already in their membership program. Call me! The jamaica I had was one of the best I've had! Better than so many Mexican places tbh! The carrot juice is always so solid and healing. The juices here are always the best, and so much cheaper than like Whole Foods etc. I really want to try their whole rotisserie chicken on top of rice someday. The bulgur side in the deli is my favorite food - I even looked up a recipe for it while I was living out of state so I could keep having it :) I love everything they do!!
