However, it turned out to be glue residue that was invisible to the eye after having the wrap removed. The humidity under the cover allowed it to seep into the top coat. I considered doing a "do it yourself-YouTube clay bar-turtle wax" fix, but I wisely stopped by Exotic for a professional opinion. I can't tell you how relieved I am that I did! They fixed the issue in literally 10 minutes. Imagine how disastrous it could have been if I had attempted it myself and damaged my paint! This experience reinforced an important lesson: always seek advice from a professional, especially in a specific field. From the moment I arrived, from the owner and his son, to Giovanni and his team, I knew they were solid, professional, respectful, and, most importantly, honest. If you find yourself in a similar situation, whether due to an accident or just routine maintenance like me, I urge you to come here first. Giovanni and his crew come highly recommended! Don't risk it - trust the experts at Exotic!

I recently worked with Exotic Motorsports in Simi Valley on an insurance claim repair. The good…read morenews is that they handled the insurance process very well, and the quality of the repair work was excellent. The vehicle looks great, and it's clear they take pride in their craftsmanship. Where I think they could improve is in communication and follow-up. I was told that quotes would be emailed to me, but neither my wife nor I ever received them. When something like that happens, a simple follow-up phone call to confirm receipt and discuss next steps would go a long way. Unfortunately, that never occurred. Working directly with the owner was always a pleasant experience. He was professional, approachable, and genuinely cared about the outcome. However, the day-to-day communication and follow-through from his second-in-command left room for improvement. Overall, these are good people who do quality work and stand behind what they do. With some attention to basic business management practices--particularly communication and customer follow-up--they could provide an even better customer experience.

First of all, the price was hands-down the fairest anywhere nearby. I called multiple shops before choosing this one, and everyone else gave me outrageous quotes. JB Customs offered a price that was extremely reasonable -- honestly shockingly cheap for the quality of work. And the install? Ridiculously fast. He works with surgeon-level precision but somehow finishes everything faster than any shop I've ever dealt with. The light-up pony came out flawless -- clean wiring, perfect alignment, no gaps, no issues. It looks factory, but better. The door sills (non-illuminated) were installed perfectly as well. Straight, secure, spotless -- exactly how they should look. Not a single scratch or misalignment. On top of all that, he's friendly, honest, and clearly takes pride in his craft. No upselling, no pressure -- just real professionalism. If you want any custom work done -- cosmetic, lighting, accessories -- JB Customs is the ONLY place you should take your car. Fast, fair, flawless. This shop deserves way more recognition.
