But then I ordered one of their pre-mixed drinks from the bar, and had to end up asking after it about 20 minutes later when it hadn't made it to my table. I was told it got lost in the mix of everything, which I do understand because as I mentioned before, it was busy. So I just said that's cool, I don't need it, I'll just have a root beer instead. 10 minutes later and the server comes to the table with lightly-tinted soda water, very apologetically telling me that's what's coming out and they need to change the bag. I'm autistic and overstimulated at this point so I just say no, water is fine. And that was a little ehh, but the food was absolutely the most disappointing part of this experience. I ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and their curly fries on the side...the fries were barely warm, and not a single element of the burger was seasoned. It was offensively bland, and on top of that, the bacon was floppy. Burger was undercooked as well (menu says they're cooked to medium well, it was about medium rare). I took 2 bites and was totally done. It's really a shame because you can tell the quality of the ingredients is good, but the execution was just kind of embarrassing. Like...salt and pepper the meat at least, please, c'mon. The milkshake was pretty good, though. This place is an institution, but I think it's leaning a little too hard on that reputation and has let the quality of its food slip.

They neither responded to my email nor the review with any sort of explanation or apology which suggests that they don't really care. So I'll share this on Yelp too so others are aware of their poor customer service. We visited this restaurant with a group of seven and were excited to try it, especially because the outdoor seating area looked like a great spot for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being very disappointing. Service was extremely slow and disorganized from the start. About 15 minutes after ordering, a different waitress brought food to our table that we hadn't ordered, then quickly took it away without much explanation. From there, things only got worse. Our meals came out slowly over the course of 30-45 minutes, just one or two plates at a time, with no communication about the delays. Our four-year-old waited nearly 45 minutes for a simple order of fish sticks. Even basic service was lacking. We had to ask multiple times for something as simple as an apple juice refill, and it still took far too long to arrive. Toward the end of the meal, our waitress stopped checking on our table altogether, which made it difficult to order dessert. The food itself was pretty good, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. However, the poor service and lack of attentiveness completely overshadowed the experience. Overall, it was frustrating and disappointing, and we don't plan to return.

The main "watch party" screen is probably 12 feet across. The food was...ok. Originally we thought about trying the nachos, but they come with two sauces that we weren't sure about and we were told that they couldn't put them on the side. So we ended up ordering a burger and a fried chicken sandwich. The burger itself was good, though for some reason they couldn't add lettuce and tomato to it, despite the fact that there's a salad on the menu. This inability or unwillingness to make small, easy modifications to dishes was kind of odd and off-putting. Both of our sandwiches included fries; these were very generic and definitely came from a bag in the freezer. Guac was an expensive addition ($4) and was pretty bland - definitely needed more lime, garlic, and salt. Draft beer options are a limited - there are six taps and one of them is devoted to prosecco. That's an...interesting choice. Guinness is on tap and they do half-and-half pints which is cool. There are a couple of mini soccer fields on the side of the building that could be cool. It was mentioned that they might be intended for kids' birthday parties and an adult social league or something, but they're not yet open. The Den is close to us, so we'll probably try them again. We hope that the food situation improves a bit as they're open a little longer and smooth things out.
