They took the time to ease my toddler and did a very impressive job keeping her interested and happy about being at the dentist! We went to Bothell Pediatric Dentistry for the first time this morning, and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly, warm, and inviting, and did such an amazing job helping my two-year-old daughter feel at ease. They have a great routine established for helping the children understand how the equipment works and what the experience will be like, and Stefanie in particular today was super kind and thoughtful, and particularly impressive in relation to how she was fully present with my daughter, on her level, and engaging her in conversation. Dr. Yea was similarly calm and attentive, and made the whole experience spectacularly easy. At the end, my daughter didn't want to leave the lobby because she said she was having fun, and she has been speaking positively about the experience all morning. I would highly recommend them. Something additional to note: the office is in a University of Washington building, so don't rely on exterior signage to find it. read more

We recently moved back to Washington from California. Before we settled down, both my kids had dental problems at the same time. I called Bothell Pediatric Dentistry and they managed to get them in the next morning and thanks to Diana. She's also very efficient in getting ready their history from previous dental office. My first impression when I entered was wow!! nice set up, spacious and feel very welcoming. They've an aquarium and toys at the waiting area to entertain the kids. Both Kaitlyn and Shannon were very experience. They explained to my kids every single steps they took, from x-ray to cleaning. My kids don't feel shocked at all. Dr. McCoy is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job in explaining both my kids problems and solutions to me while my kids were away picking up their goodie bags with personalized drawing and took their first dental visit pictures. Great teamwork. I highly recommended this place. They were so friendly and we look forward to our next visit soon. read more

Highly, highly recommend. Began taking my granddaughter here when she was 2-1/2, and the staff is helpful, friendly, kind, and eager to make the entire experience wonderful for the kiddos. My granddaughter has had to have 3 fillings (she's only 4 but has no enamel) and has no apprehension about walking into the office and getting treatment. She comes out with a smile and a toy and stickers. The office is helping plan for her future needs. I paid cash for the first few visits, until Dental Dental has finally approved putting her on my plan. read more

Horrible customer service. I was referred here by our long time family dentist. Without seeming to care much about why my 3 year old son was referred in the first place Bev, the manager, asked me to cancel the cleaning I had scheduled with our family dentist and requested that our son only see them moving forward. I repeated that this was a referral and I was happy to see them for my specific concerns but wanted to remain with our family dentist (who has seen my parents, husband, and two other children since I can remember). She argued back and threatened me by stating my child would not be happy unless I only took him to their office only. My son is 3 and cares about trucks and dinosaurs, not who his dentist is. I was at one point passed onto another woman, Diana, who also made it clear that they don't want my son as a new client unless I agree to quit seeing our family dentist. This is absurd to me and frustrating. I had already put off calling a specialist and to be turned down as a patient when I finally got around to taking care of this was frustrating. On top of all of this...Bev grilled me within the first 5 min of speaking to her about keeping up on my financial responsibilities to them. I would hope that her main concern was meeting my sons needs and the financial aspect (I have insurance) could be discussed in person at my first appointment. Clearly my sons dental health was not their main priority. Both women were rude and passive aggressive. I asked to speak to their boss (who is their main dentist) and was hoping to resolve this but when no one from their office even bothered to call me back or touch base with me I felt compelled to leave a negative review! I only gave it 1 star because 1-5 rating is required. read more

Have been bringing both of my kids here since since they first had teeth break through! We've enjoyed the Md's and staff tremendously over the years. And the front desk ladies are friendly and so helpful!! My kids are now 14 & 16... and I hate to think of going anywhere else. read more

Awesome! From the super easy to find, plenty of parking right next to the building, beautiful waiting room, plenty of things for the kids to do and be excited about when we entered. To the very caring and personable staff. Great dental cleaning. Really paid attention to each individual kids needs. We have 4 kids and I was able to take them all at once. Each had a hygienist that made them feel like it was all about them. Personal touches that made the kids not only like but LOVE coming to the dentist. Great cleaning and teaching techniques that a 2, 4, 4, and 8 year old could understand. I was nervous about moving out to Bothell and moving our kids dentist, who they had known since their first visit, but the whole team was amazing. No regrets except that I wish we would have made the move to a dentist closer to home sooner. Highly recommend. read more

It was very obvious why seeing a pediatric dentist instead of your regular adult dentist can help a kid adjust to the process after taking my son for first dental appointment. Communication prior to and check in were easy. There are very few kid items in the main lobby but we were quickly taken back to a different area where there were more toys while the assistant spoke to me about the process and asked background questions. Once in the chair (all chairs are in the same room) my son was shown how the tools work using a cup and small toy. Everyone was very nice and easy going when he fussed or resisted. They are so great with children, they make them feel so comfortable by showing them all the tools they use and letting the children play with them. Stefanie is great, my daughter just loved her! We've been bringing our daughter here for a couple of years now. She has always really liked the hygienists and is a big fan of Dr. Yea who is always very gentle. My daughter practically skips into the office- they really focus on putting the kids at ease through the whole process and the dental care seems very strong. I should have done a review based on the above alone, but recently my daughter had an accident at home where she fell onto her face and hurt one of her front teeth. She was in a ton of pain and we just were not sure what to do. We called Dr. Yea (on her day off when the office was closed!) and she did not hesitate to have my husband bring her in to the office. She drove over from Seattle, opened the office and examined our daughter- Xrays and all. She discovered the tooth was fractured near the root and would have to be removed. That all went as well as could be expected. We assumed that the bill would be enormous given all Dr Yea's troubles to come out just for us, but were shocked to see how little she was reimbursed by our insurance comany and how little we were responsible for. It really helped me to understand just how 'above and beyond' Dr. Yea's treatment was given so little fiscal reward. Thank you Dr. Yea! read more
