I'm updating my review to a full five stars after the outstanding follow-through from the team at Botero Carts in Ocala. Ryan from the front office was exceptional--he stayed in touch, followed up continuously, and made sure everything got done right. DJ, the technician, came out twice and took care of every issue with professionalism and care. That kind of dedication is rare, and it made all the difference. Kudos to Botero for standing behind their service and making sure I was taken care of. Highly recommend! UPDATE: Management called me this morning and got a great technician out to service my cart. Some parts need to be ordered and they will come back to take care of it. I'll update again when this occurs...so happy the initial problem was resolved. $16,800 Spent--Still No Service I paid $16,800 for an Evolution golf cart from Botero Carts, expecting reliable warranty support. When I needed service, I was scheduled for a Friday appointment--no one showed up, and I didn't even get a call. I followed up, and they apologized, rescheduling for the next Friday. Same result: no-show, no call. This is not how you treat customers who invest in a premium product. Evolution carts may be impressive, but Botero's lack of follow-through on warranty service is unacceptable. I expected better. read more

Our cart was delivered on March 9, 2026. It was originally scheduled for delivery the day before, but we received a call letting us know they didn't want to deliver the unit we had purchased due to blemishes discovered during final prep and cleaning. Jason reached out and offered us another cart of the same model that had just arrived, with delivery the following day. We decided to stop by the store to take a look--and to our surprise, the replacement cart was even nicer than the one we originally chose. It truly exceeded our expectations. I'll admit, I'm used to things not going my way in situations like this, so being treated this well was a refreshing surprise. Luis G., our salesperson, did an excellent job throughout the process. Jason O.--I'm not sure of his official title--was clearly on top of everything and showed genuine care for the customer experience. I had read mixed reviews about other Botero dealers, but this location was completely different. They set a high standard: helpful, attentive, and genuinely responsive to customer concerns. Overall, I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a golf cart. read more

I highly recommend Botero Carts. We had purchased a brand new Evolution cart from a different dealer in Ocala that promised us a 2-year parts and labor warranty. During the second year of our ownership of this cart, the battery failed. The original dealer no longer honored his warranty because he no longer had a service repair department. (Maybe I should write another review on that). During the repair process we visited Botero's dealership / repair shop. Very impressive dealership where we found the facility was clean and employees were very helpful. Don from Botero Carts came through and honored his competitor parts and labor warranty. They hauled our cart to their shop and delivered it back to us. I typically do not write reviews, but I couldn't let this excellent customer service go unnoticed. The most important thing is to do business with the right people. I bought a new Evolution Maverick 6 a few months ago, from Botero Carts at the KC, MO location, and the cart seemed to be limiting the speed, and Kyle Wilson sent a truck to pick it up, like a champion! Things can happen, and when they do, you want someone to stand behind their product like Kyle and his team have done for my family. I highly, highly recommend this group of folks. They made sure my family was taken care of. We're enjoying the new cart and it is perky! We travel the unpaved mountain roads like a hero. read more

I have to say a big thanks to Jason and the folks at Botero Golf Carts in Ocala. They are a 100% stand up and honest company! I live about 2 1/2 hours from Ocala. I purchased a new golf cart which developed a major mechanical issue. Once Jason became aware of the situation, he personaly contacted me and arranged to come and pick up my cart and also brought a loaner for me to use. Never anticipated purchasing the unit (D5 Maverick 2+2) until I worked with Mike Watts. He was extremely helpful and was not "pushy" as some sales people are. After receiving the cart at home, I had a couple of questions that Mike needed to answer. He had a couple of days off, BUT came in on his days off to find the answers I asked about!!
