Update: Aside from the kitten that I lost because of the negligence of the doctor. I have another…read morekitten, who is thankfully, still healthy. However, the doctor is now refusing to fill a prescription for flea medication because it "puts His license on the line." He's concerned with his license over flea medication, but was not concerned with it when he was negligent and sent us home with a sick kitten twice. It's one thing to be negligent, it's another to call a grieving pet parent and accuse them of misinformation. On 3/10, we took my kitten who was losing weight, was so thin you could feel all of his bones, was lethargic and had discharge from his eyes. We were told that it was not an upper respiratory infection and that his lungs sounded clear. We were given eyedrops to clear the discharge and told to return in a week if he did not improve. I had previously scheduled an appointment on 3/17 to get Chili and his littermate vaccinated so I took them in. I verbally told the VetTech that Chili had not improved and I was concerned that it was now two weeks and he was low energy, wasn't using the litterbox, and had not gained weight. She came back and told me that the doctor was not concerned and that Chili was just going to be a small cat. A week later I made an appointment at a different vet to get another opinion. Within seconds of seeing Chili they advised to get him to a hospital asap. took him to a Hospital where we were told he had FIP and had to make a quality of life decision. At 5 months old, Chili had to be put down. If you look up FIP, the symptoms are exactly what I brought up. Looking back it's mindblowing that we were sent home twice and my concerns brushed off as 'a small cat'. I spoke to Caroline who sounded very robotic. She informed me that the drops we were given said to go back in a week if he didn't improve to get a different medication for a URI despite the fact the vet told us it was NOT a URI. She also told me that Chili maintained his weight across both appointments. maintaining weight does not mean maintaining a HEALTHY weight. Especially when his littermate was 2 pounds heavier and much larger than him. She told me that I was told that I could get him tested for the coronavirus, which mutates into FIP, but that they did not offer this in house. This is a blatant lie. At NO point was I advised that I could get him tested or that it might be something else. I asked to speak to someone else and I was told that her supervisor, Marie would call me back that day. The next day Marie had not called me back but I did receive an email confirming Chili's next appointment. I called in immediately to cancel this and mentioned that I was waiting on a call. She called me back within the hour and sounded very bothered and informed me that she had 10 minutes to spare. We went over the details and she started sticking to the fact that Chili maintained his weight despite the fact that I brought up other concerns as well. Once her 10 minutes were up she told me she'd look into it further and would have to call me back. She called me and let me know that we provided misinformation. She also referenced an appointment for my other cat from two months ago likely in an attempt to blame the fact she had a URI on why Chili got sick. She stated that in the 10 minutes the vet saw Chili he was not concerned because he was squirming to get away and was given a healthy body score. Trying to get away from a stranger who is poking and prodding you does not trump 2 weeks of being lethargic. Marie also told me that I was informed it was URI which contradicts what Caroline told me. I told her that all I wanted was some accountability for the fact I was not informed that I could take Chili to get tested elsewhere for a possible coronavirus diagnosis. She told me that I was informed --- I was informed that Chili would be a small cat. This practice will not take accountability for anything and instead of doing so will turn it around and blame you for not providing all of the necessary information or for misspeaking.

Super disappointed with a recent boarding at My Pets. My Pets Animal Hospital has been our vet for…read moreyears. I've boarded the family Goldendoodle (Max - http://tiktok.com/@mackymaxdoodle) many times without any issue. I recently had to leave town for a family funeral for the weekend. I dropped off Max Friday. I should have known things have gone downhill at My Pets when they had lost his reservation and the pre-paperwork I had completed prior to his arrival. Max apparently did well on Friday however on Saturday evening during a family funeral gathering, I received a long text explaining Max had growled while the handler (Sasha) went to let him out. Without discussion, the handler texted to inform me they had decided to sedate Max. He had already stayed the night prior with no issues. They also informed me of the medication cost and additional expense to administer the medication. They promptly sent a video in which they took a second effort to enter the cold prison like room, walk to his cell, and without being friendly to him and calling his name, they clanked the door latches and yes, he made a purring/growling noise. He appeared very nervous and scared. I asked for Dr Donna to call me as I didn't want him sedated and didn't understand why experts were unable to handle a family dog as they have many times before. I let them know to open the cage and invite him out and he'd be fine. I didn't get a call from Donna. Instead, I received a long text from Donna explaining that she had told the handler to sedate him and that was their policy. I told her I didn't want him sedated and that I would leave the out-of-town family gathering and come get him ASAP. Donna informed me I should get Max behavioral training (super well-trained family dog) and that she would call me to discuss the issue the following week. It would seem that it's My Pets staff that needs the training. They are supposed to know how to handle dogs while boarding. She also informed me that Max had disrupted hers and her staff's weekend. As it got close to pick Max up, I texted and asked how they would get him out of the cage as I didn't want him sedated. I received no reply. The same handler got him out of the cage and brought him to me (somehow without sedating him). Everyone at the front desk was "unsure" if Max was sedated including Sasha. It seemed there was a lack of transparency and trust as in his returned items was a bottle of pills with 4 pills unaccounted for. I informed them that he is a family member and didn't deserve to be drugged because he had a handler unwilling to be friendly to him and quite frankly was probably scared. I will never return Max to My Pets. He deserves to be treated with care and the handler failed to do so by intimidating him while he was in a vulnerable state. When Max first went to My Pets, they would greet him by name and even bring him a Licky mat with cheese whiz. This isn't even close to how he was treated during this boarding stay. Also, Dr. Donna didn't follow up and call to discuss like both her and her staff said would happen. Very disappointed and do not recommend boarding for your fury family member.

The ladies spent an hour each day with my animals, sent pictures while they were there, and kept me informed each day about each animal. They even noticed a scratch on my pig! One of my turkeys was sick when I left and unfortunately passed away 2 days into my vacation. These wonderful ladies actually held him as he passed away and took care of his body. Seriously, what animal service does that?!? Their prices are ridiculously affordable and like the other reviewer, I too felt the need to pay more than asked. They are personable, kind, and clearly love what they do. I cannot recommend Ashley and Nancy highly enough!!

And rather than have them deal with the stress of being boarded, I decided to try a pet sitting service while I went on vacation. Ashley and Shawna came out to meet me and both were extremely friendly and professional. They both asked questions about the health of the animals, my vet's contact information, emergency contact info, etc. and had the appropriate paperwork to fill out. The peace of mind I had after they left was just what I needed! They will send you pictures of your pets while you are away to reassure you that everything is ok and also provide you with text updates. The price they quoted me was far too low in my opinion, so I felt it was necessary to pay them more than they were asking. Totally worth it! They even took the time to clean up a little!!! Let's face it. . . Four cats can be kind of messy. These guys are amazing! If you need a pet sitting service, I strongly recommend Aussie Mom!!!!!!!

They just keep taking on new patients and do not know…read morewhen to say we are full to capacity. we are not accepting any new patients. i was taking my pets there for more than 2 years and on 2 occasions I had an occasion in which one of my dogs had constant diarrhea and when I called to see if they could squeeze me in. i was told sorry you have to wait 2 weeks. They disregard pets that have been customers for a while and at the same time just keep on taking on new patients. Dr Gerena was my dogs Vet. She is like the Head of the clinic. She is so money hungry!!! They don't give a damn about your pets they just want your money. When I realized that I immediately called and asked that all of my 3 dogs medical and vaccination records be sent to a new clinic that I found. Now everything is as it should be. What a shame and disgrace. Most of the vets get into this profession because they love animals but that fades very quickly and it becomes all about the money!!!!

The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the most difficult part about the trip in is trying to get out of the parking lot and head home. When our dog hurt her paw, they were very fast to get her in to be seen. With the app, it makes making and changing appointments easy. BROKEN LEG! It is…read moreunfortunate that I am having to even post this. Grooming deals has not only broken my dog's leg but has cost and will continue to cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills due to the break being so bad that she may have to have amputation if her surgery doesn't take. When this was addressed with the owner and the groomer that did this, they not only acted unapologetic but they also charged my mother for the service. They only refunded the money after we called back and demanded a refund. When we told them we will be taking legal action, Angie's (owner) response was to ask my mother if she could go to a cheaper vet and that "hopefully her insurance will be able to cover this". We took piper to an Emergency ER vet, as anyone would do whose dog's leg was just freshly broken. This is what she and her staff think of our pets. They are money to them and do not care about the safety and wellbeing of the dogs. Three other people that we spoke with today about the incident (two family friends and and family member) also had similar experiences with this establishment. Photos below. The best part is that they have a separate room with the pets with an employee. She opened the beardie enclosures & brought them out for me to get a closer look. I was able to pet the heads. This really helped show individual personalities. The staff were knowledgeable and gave the right mix of attention and time to roam. I'm really happy to be able to shop somewhere besides the chain stores.
