I recommended Jenny's Fascial Freedom class to my mom last weekend. She had a rough time getting…read morethe hang of it, but even though she felt like she wasn't getting it, the class yielded phenomenal results. In her own words: "Since the Shelter In Place started, I've been spending hours each day sitting at the computer, and my hips have been blocked. I was constantly in pain, but the pain was extreme while I was sitting or standing. Just standing up was extraordinarily painful - I had to stop and hold myself so I didn't fall over. Walking was extremely painful too - I had a 30% loss of motion. I'd never worked with Jenny before, but my daughter, an acupuncturist suggested it. I did not have the right equipment for Jenny's class, although I did have some, much smaller balls. I was unable to do some of what she asked - I have a large belly and it felt like I wasn't doing it "right." The position we were in on the floor aggravates my back, so that alone was really hard. I was not feeling good about myself by the end of it - which is usual for me in movement classes. But once I walked around a bit to relax my back from being on my stomach - I realized my hips were not troubling me. And still, three days later, that pain I'd been experiencing in the extreme is NO LONGER there! I'm feeling more movement in that area. There's no internal pain, and I'm even a little bit more limber. There is a noticeable difference and more range of motion. Even though I didn't feel successful at first, now I am very pleasantly surprised!"

I experienced my first craniosacral massage treatment. it was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating…read more I think I benefitted more from this technique more than the traditional pressure massage. Sarah's touch was so light, yet I could feel deep shifts in my body, almost like a wave of calm spreading through me. By the end of the session, I felt a profound sense of relaxation. My appointment was at 530 PM and I felt so tired and I was yawning all the way to my appointment. I drove home with more mental clarity and focus. I would highly recommend Sarah and this technique to anyone seeking stress relief and overall balance.

LILY!!! Can one love someone after one visit? Well I would argue yes…read more I sought out Lily because I had been experiencing sharp pain in my upper back, under one of my shoulder blades. It had gotten worse over the weeks, and the muscle spasm spread to where I had difficulty moving my head and turning my body. I tried stretching and massaging it myself. I tried tools and massage devices. I asked friends for help. I tried ice and heat. I tried medicine and rest. Nothing worked. The pain got worse and my movement got increasingly restricted. (Hear the violin playing yet?! Lol) I am on a tight budget so I was trying to hold out, but finally I chose to prioritize health and wellness, so I researched several physical therapists and massage therapists, and Lily stood out to me. And holy guacamole, Lily did such an excellent job in our 1 hour session... I think she is a magician! I've been to massage therapists where I felt worse after... or felt nothing at all (as if they just rubbed lotion on me). No exaggeration, I was able to move my neck after my massage!!! The following day, all of my pain and muscle spasms were gone. Finito! It was incredible. This meant I could get back to my life because now I could move. Lily did that. Lily understands Body Work really well, she is professional and attentive to your needs, and she is a chill person. I really enjoyed working with her!
