The only issue we had was some of the big branches were left on the road for about a week before they came back to pick them up but they eventually did scoop them up. As far as pricing goes they seem to be in line with what other companies are charging, removing tree anything is not cheap. But as you watch them he realize it is a pretty risky job and I'm sure their insurance costs are pretty expensive.

After getting 6 estimates, I decided to go with Avalon Tree Service, and I am so glad I did!…read more From the on-site estimate to the follow-up, these brothers, Jose & Jose (yes, that's right, they both have the same name ), were professional from start to finish. Their customer service staff, Denise, is AMAZING, and her follow-up is unmatched! They were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either. Fair is how I would describe their pricing, especially for the level of service and professionalism I received. I was told they would start at 8:00 a.m., and they absolutely did. The crew arrived at 7:20 a.m., staged the area, and were in the trees working by 8:00 a.m. There were no unnecessary breaks, and when I looked around, there were no water bottles, cigarette butts, or any of the other things that sometimes come along with having a crew working on your property. They worked, stayed focused, and kept the area clean. It's 12:30pm, and they are 90% finished. I am definitely not jumping the gun here; I am simply beyond pleased with the work so far. I WILL be using Avalon again soon because the squirrels in my yard are diabolical. The TREES gotta goooooo 10/10.....Highly recommend!

Prior to calling Jeff, I spoke with two other businesses who said they would get back to me with an estimate. I never heard from either of them. I called Jeff and not only did he give me an estimate, I received it the same day, it was better than expected and the work was done within two days. In addition to the shrubs, he trimmed several other shrubs, edged the entire yard, did some weed eating and hauled everything away. When Spring comes and growth begins again, we'll definitely be using Jeff for monthly maintenance of the entire yard. Being an out-of-state child of an elderly parent, I can't tell you how valuable this resource is. Thanks, Jeff!

If you end up spending less but get really crappy service, in the end you have to ask yourself was it worth it. They showed up a day late without so much as a courtesy call to let me know they weren't going to make my appointed day/time. When they finally cut my tree down, when it fell it destroyed a floral arrangement I had. They went and replaced the wood but it wasn't until later that I saw that they didn't replace all of what was destroyed. They did a horrible job of cleaning up and left my yard in complete shambles. My sidewalk and driveway are permanently scarred and chipped. Dale tried to assure me the long marks would 'wash off' but it's permanent damage. Dale got very belligerent with me as l pointed out the damage they caused. I had to sternly tell him he needed to lower his voice and calm down. As if that wasn't bad enough they left 80ft of timber in my yard for a week and a half. After waiting the 2 or 3 days Dale said it would take I began calling them daily. He stopped answering my calls altogether. I left message after message without hearing back. Finally I got through after remembering that dialing *67 hides your number. This trick worked as Dale answered and I told him he needed to come get these logs as it was killing my grass and well past the 2 or 3 days he said it would take. He yelled back at me telling me and I quote 'there's nothing like I can do' I told him to come get the logs or I was seeking legal action for the logs amd the damage to driveway and sidewalk. He hung up in my face but an hour later a guy shows up to take the logs. I do not recommend these guys as they are unreliable and not true to their word. Yes my tree is gone but the damage they left wasn't worth the cheaper price I paid. Not at all! CAVEAT EMPTOR....BUYER BEWARE!!!
