I suffered from the symptoms for about a year before searching for a naturopatic solution. Dr Belanger talked me through the disease and how to treat it naturopathically. He had numerous tests performed and came up with a list of foods to avoid, foods to add to my diet, what supplements to take, and gradually found a stable path to follow. This was over 6 years ago, I've had 3 colonoscopys since, and have been completely clean each time. I would give 10 stars if possible. Got my life back.

When my daughter passed a year ago June as a patient of Dr.Belanger, he never acknowledge her passing after being informed by his receptionist. How insensitive! When my husband, also a former patient, recently requested an appointment, he was told he would have to be seen as a new patient which meant a new patient's fee! How greedy and how unethical! Because of Dr. Belanger's callousness and greed, I can no longer recommend him!

I had an extremely disturbing experience at Acton Urgent Care that left me feeling frightened and…read moreunsafe. During my visit, the person interacting with me became aggressive, screamed at me, and used the F-word toward me. His behavior felt completely inappropriate for any healthcare setting, especially one where patients may already be sick, anxious, or vulnerable. What disturbed me even more was the physical interaction. I felt that I was manhandled rather than treated calmly and professionally. The combination of yelling, profanity, aggressive behavior, and physical handling made me feel like my personal safety was at risk. I genuinely left the situation feeling as though my life could have been in danger. No patient should ever be made to feel threatened by someone who is supposed to be providing medical care. Healthcare workers are expected to remain professional, respectful, and composed, even during difficult situations. What I experienced was the complete opposite. I believe this incident should be investigated seriously, including reviewing any available security footage, speaking with staff who witnessed the interaction, and documenting exactly what occurred. Based on my experience, I do not believe this individual should be allowed to continue interacting with patients unless the situation is thoroughly investigated and appropriate action is taken. I would strongly caution others about my experience here. I went to urgent care expecting medical help and instead left feeling intimidated, shaken, and unsafe.

I had worn…read morethe hernia belts for about 2 years, but it got to the point where it was not helping much anymore and I was darned tired of it and this thing was getting bigger! His staff (Marisol & Rita) were a joy to talk to and they got me in right away to see him. Dr. Yood explained in detail as to how we could go about doing this repair and he presented several detailed options. Shortly thereafter, we scheduled the hospital visit and into surgery I went at 6:00 AM. While in surgery, he found a smaller hernia on the other side that was totally unknown to me. Well, he repaired that one as well with mesh. My feeling is that he went the extra mile to do this second repair, when it was not scheduled. He could have had me come back at a later date for the second one, and an increased fee as well, but he did not! I am really VERY thankful. I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time and please do know that no-one has asked me to write this. Well, here we are 18 months later. I recovered really well (100%) and I would unequivocally recommend Dr. Yood for his understanding and professionalism. He is a great guy and easy to talk to as well. Mark
