Wow - just wonderful! Highly recommend…read more My 5 year old Autistic daughter just had 2 weeks of social skills group at Puzzle Pieces and we had the best experience. The class was small - 5 kids, and the instructor Jess was able to give each of them individual and group attention. My daughter came home everyday telling me about the fun she had - art, reading, singing, playing - you name it! One week was rainbow themed and the other under the sea themed. We're probably going to have to buy the book "Clark the Shark" since she loved it so much. My favorite thing about Puzzle Pieces is you can tell the staff care about the kids and are not forcing them to comply - instead following the kids leads. That's huge in the Autism services world and honestly this is the first place I have found that attitude at. They definitely live "connection not compliance" and meet the kids where they are. I've heard from parents of the other kids in this group that OT, PT, and Speech at Puzzle Pieces is great too. So so so happy we found this gem and will share the word with other parents of Autistic kids. I'm neurodivergent too & proud. So many centers are awful treating kids like less than, not letting them stim, and other awful. I will never put my kid through that - despite whatever pressure insurance/society puts on us.

When I called to schedule my initial appointment, this was the service that I requested. After being booked the first appointment and paying my copay ($70), I was told that the physical therapist they scheduled me with did not perform dry needling and that I would need to follow-up with another PT. In addition to that, I was told that they cannot bill insurance for dry needling and is $100 out of pocket per visit. None of this information was communicated to me on the phone before I made the appointment, otherwise I would have tried other places that will bill insurance first. After inquiring about whether I could at least get my $70 copay back for the incorrect visit, this was refused. After this experience, I told them to discharge me as a patient. If I can't trust them to even book me the correct appointment, I will not be trusting them as an alleged health care provider.

I am on my way to healing 100% soon, after seeing my orthopedic, for final evaluation at Tufts Medical Center.

I've been fortunate to work with Furnace Brook PT and receive treatment for two conditions (knee…read morereplacement and rotator cuff surgery) over the past year. The practitioners here are exceptionally trained and qualified, with most, if not all, having advanced degrees in Physical Therapy and extensive practical hands-on experience. Samantha ("Sammy") Rondeau, DPT, led my first series of PT sessions for right knee replacement. This was personally challenging as I'd never experienced a surgery or recovery like this one. Sammy outlined, explained, and led 3-times a week sessions to restore movement and full use of my right leg. This included home exercises (I continue to use as part of my home workouts.) Sammy is also leading my rotator cuff PT (which I started this week.) A comprehensive assessment coupled with MD recommendations precedes physical therapy here. Everyone here is very client-focused. Lots of off-street parking and a comfortable waiting room. The staff are all upbeat and eager to guide the rest of us to improved health. There are many PT clinics in the immediate area, but I am very fortunate to work with this one.

I understand that you're not going to get a 5 star rating at places like these that accept Medicare…read moreand Medicaid.. but this place was honestly a blessing for my mother. She was at Brigham for over a month, and they moved her to a place in Brookline that was just not at all sufficient for someone that is sick. She stayed at a place in Brookline that was so bad, she had to go to the ER twice for the flu and pneumonia. After being admitted again to the hospital, my family was told this place in Quincy was the only option and our hearts sunk because we only saw these 1 star reviews. This place is a honestly great because the nurses and the aids work and communicate well. There were plenty of rooms so my mom got her own room. They were kind and watch these patients well. It's not perfect, but if you come and check up on your family member every few days this place can be fantastic. My mom was comfortable and was able to recover well. We kept the nurses informed of any changes we noticed and they were kind and receptive. My sisters have spoken directly to the director of nursing and they tell me she is incredibly kind and sweet. If you are reading this review thanks for taking the time to read this, and I wish the best for you and you're family members.

Victor's communication skills, nurturing style, thoroughness, etc. were top notch. He quickly became our family contact and still to this day, our mom keeps in touch with him. He and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for the Sargent family.

I must say lately I've been through the wringer with injuries and torn tendons and problematic…read moreshoulders etc. The surgeon recommended PT for an injury and this was my first time going to PT for anything. I've done OT, but much prefer PT. Now the facility is located in the same building as Atrius health, five guys, crush pizza, and Quincy College. A rocks throw from Quincy center train station on the red line. Parking is street or you could use the paid parking garage out back. So far I'm a month or so in, i believe we are making progress and my main PT doc Julianne has spear headed my regimens of PT to get me back on track. All the PT staff here is super personable, nice and helpful. They'll go above and beyond to address lateral and related issues you may have stemming from the initial reason you're attending PT to begin with. Each exercise is calculated to target certain strengthening of muscle groups to aid in your recovery and pain management. I've seen all walks of life here and everyone has been really chill and communicative. The space is clean and clear with mellow tracks playing in the background. I'm in and out in hour or so each session and we progress on weights and reps each week with a swap of different exercises to focus on the next item in your treatment plan. My doc also is very helpful working with you to help get you to other specialists and contacts so further assist in your recovery if needed. Don't be afraid to pop in and inquire about your specific needs. I've already referred some folks to seek out Professional Physical therapy here when it's brought up as a need. See you next session! Thanks for everything thus far!
