The practitioners here are exceptionally trained and qualified, with most, if not all, having advanced degrees in Physical Therapy and extensive practical hands-on experience. Samantha ("Sammy") Rondeau, DPT, led my first series of PT sessions for right knee replacement. This was personally challenging as I'd never experienced a surgery or recovery like this one. Sammy outlined, explained, and led 3-times a week sessions to restore movement and full use of my right leg. This included home exercises (I continue to use as part of my home workouts.) Sammy is also leading my rotator cuff PT (which I started this week.) A comprehensive assessment coupled with MD recommendations precedes physical therapy here. Everyone here is very client-focused. Lots of off-street parking and a comfortable waiting room. The staff are all upbeat and eager to guide the rest of us to improved health. There are many PT clinics in the immediate area, but I am very fortunate to work with this one.

They accommodate to your needs the moment you step in through the door and tailor the treatment to your fitness level until the moment you leave. When I walk in through the door, I am always greeted by Wendy or Yu Le who always recognizes me and pulls up my chart. They make check-in very smooth and easy. Ron, the therapy assistant, takes me right on time. He often asks how I am doing and is well-prepared for my appointment. Ron is very attentive to my concerns. He gathers together a list of exercises and challenges me with the exercises to get the most out of my treatment. In the process, Dave checks up on me to make sure the treatment is going well. He carefully adjusts my treatment plan to what I need by using multiple assessments. He is one of many therapists that actually uses manual manipulation, which I respect. Aside from the exceptional customer service, my treatment turned out well. Dave and Ron are incredibly knowledgeable in the physical therapy field. When I first came to physical therapy I had shoulder blade irritation and shooting pain on my right arm. I did not know how I could address the problem on my own because there was only so much I knew to do with my upper body. I only went to Soleil twice a week, each day for an hour. After adhering to the prescribed exercise regimen for a month, I stopped feeling the numbness and tingling altogether. I still do feel shoulder irritation but it is becoming barely noticeable. I was treated by both Christine and Michael, as well as both aides (Ryan and Brittney) over the course of the past few months for achilles tendinitis, and so I can say with confidence that every person working here is friendly, professional, and eager to help you understand your treatment plan. Although they're usually fairly busy with clients of all ages (I usually came around 4 or 5 in the afternoon) I was always seen on time and given one-on-one attention throughout my entire session. Booking appointments is easy (as long as you do it 1-2 weeks in advance because they do fill up), and the facilities are clean and bright. Also, they took care of extending my number of sessions with my insurance company when my initial number ran out, so that I didn't have to worry about it. People in need of PT are obviously usually in varying degrees of pain, and so I think it's really telling that I would regularly exchange laughter or a friendly smile with other clients in the common area during my sessions because of the positive, welcoming, and energetic environment that the staff at Blue Hills has cultivated. I highly recommend them, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them should I require physical therapy again.

Steve was amazing and helped build a great program for me to come back from ACL/Meniscus surgery. Unfortunately, when I went back to work I had a scheduling conflict and changed to a different group. What a mistake!! I ended up needing a second surgery on my knee because they didn't rehab it correctly. A few years later I needed spinal surgery and Blue Hill had opened another location closer to my home. Christine was my therapist and built a great program to get my strength and mobility back. We knew I would be having a second surgery later that year so of course I went back to Christine! Again she followed the plan they work from, continue to move forward adding new exercises and/or additional weight, always checking in to make sure my form was correct and we weren't going to fast. I had another surgery and right back to Christine!! I just had my fourth spinal surgery. This one was much more complicated. Of course I called Blue Hill but Christine had moved to another location sadly, too far away. But I knew their program and how they approach rehab worked so I scheduled with Brittney. She is amazing!!! Extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the movements, muscles being worked and she encourages me when I feel I'm not doing well enough. We discuss my progress and hone in on the areas that need more work. She finds the perfect exercises to increase my strength and build my stamina. i couldn't be happier with my progress!!!! I can hike, climb stairs, cook meals and play with my grandchildren even running a bit!! Not bad after thinking I would never be able to do these things again!!

It took me over a year to calm down the pain at least a bit and I am still not fully recovered. Think many times before agreeing to DRY NEEDLING! The therapist changed her attitude to the negative and aggressive side right away - instead of asking me to come to the office and help she's been sending me bullshit long read emails with possible complications after dry needling. Why didn't she explain it to me before the procedure? I'd never agreed to anything, which can have such complications. She only said I can have some bruises after it and gave me a piece of paper to sign, which absolutely didn't say that there can be such complications. DO NOT believe the 5 star reviews, it's fake. They KEEP DELETING MY REVIEW!!! NO TRUST to THIS PLACE. I will post it as many times as needed, so people know what place it is. You won't hide it.

I originally picked this practice because the location is super convenient for me, and they were able to schedule my first appointment right away (which is big when you're dealing with pain). The building is spacious and clean, with plenty of parking outside. It has a main area for PT, along with private care rooms for some of the other services. They've done a great job of listening to my concerns and easing me into all different kinds of stretching and strength building exercises that progress as my recovery does. It's all felt really tailored to my needs and lifestyle, and it's played a huge role in giving me the mobility and confidence to start getting back into my normal workout routine post-surgery. Everyone I've interacted with here is so kind, but I've been working with Adrienne for the actual PT, and I can't say enough good things about her! Highly recommend this practice.
