I have been a loyal patient for 5 yrs. I went for my 40th bday to get dysport. A week later my eyes felt heavy and I had folds of skin on my eyelids. I went back and rachel tried to fix it. It got worse. She asked me to come back in to meet w Dr.Samaha. I took off work and drove an hr in traffic and he couldn't be bothered to show up, I guess . I was told he would call me and he never did. How dare any Doctor ignore a patient of their practice like that. Extremely unprofessional I was told I need cheek fillers and that's why I look so bad. my eyelids didn't do this naturally. This is your mistake. You killed the muscle and caused my eyelids to sag . I was never offered a refund. I had to cancel my first vacation in 11 yrs bc it looks so bad. Furthermore, I asked for my medical records, signed the release, emailed and called and they refuse to release them to me. This was may 16th 2023 that i requested them. It is now June 9th and i have not received them. So I can't even get another Doctor to look at this and see what was done. For 5 years they were great ,but this is unacceptable. I still look half asleep and 5 yrs older than I did. No apologies, no compensation, and my next step is to seek legal advice. read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES AT BOSTON PLASTIC AT QUINCY MA I did my Miradry procedure on 01/24/23 at 10:40am, Rachel did the numbing for both my armpits and Kaity performed the procedure they both made me feel comfortable and relaxed. After the procedure I only got one called from the nurse Kaity she was awesome and she call me the day after the procedure to follow up, but after the procedure no one called me to check up on me I call the office asking to speak to Kaity the nurse about the procedure i was told she was not with the practice anymore, after this inquiry I got no call whatsoever from the office not that I wanted them to call me 24/7 because I know that is not how things works, but I waited for a call to follow up but nothing so I was curious and mind you this is my first miradry procedure, I had many questions after the procedure that I wanted to ask Kaity but when I called they told me that she is not with the company anymore I felt bad and betrayed and did not call, the least they could have done was Rachel or someone else should have call me to communicate for example, by saying to me as the patient just wanted to check in with you and see how you are felling or doing and we are sorry but Kaity is not with the company anymore but if you need to speak to so and so we will be happy to answer any questions but nothing like that was done. After a month and two weeks after the procedure I started feeling and noticing my left hand getting tired, and tingling sensation as compared to the right hand, I also noticed a bit of sweat and musty smell from my left hand than the right this I was aware of because Kaity told me about this the day she called me, but I also noticed my hair growth reduced drastically which I was happy about. But I was also concerned about the tingling sensation and tiredness from my left hand when I do work with it and mind you am a lefty i do must stuff with my left hand so I decided to call even though I knew that Kaity is not with the company and I have no contact information with her, I call the office and talk to Rachel she asked me if I started noticing this before or after the procedure I told her after the procedure about a month and a couple of weeks ( 1 months and2-3 weeks), she told me that I should contact my primary care doctor since I noticed this feeling after the procedure I was mad when she said that not because of how she made me to think that I am stupid which by the way am not but it is because of how she try's to manipulate me into thinking that it is not the procedure that may have caused it. From the tone of her voice and how quickly she responds made me to realize that this company base on my experience only cares for the money not the patient, my other interpretation base on her response was that she is protecting the company from any law suit that may follow and truth be told i don't have the time to pursue that. What I would have appreciated from them the least is first try to understand what i was saying before telling me to see my primary care provider or doctor also that is a good suggestion because i did that already, but even if I was lying or not, or for instance as a nurse or doctor your patient called because she is concerned the bare minimum is all I was asking and expecting and maybe some sought of answer or suggestion asking me if i wanted to make and appointment for check up even though they never communicated with me after Kaity to even follow up, but nothing like that happened when I talk to Rachel today on Monday of March 6th at 11:41am. I was really disappointed and felt bad for even doing this procedure because of the way I was treated. All in all am not planing on suing them cause I have a lot on my plate and plus I blame myself for doing the procedure with Boston Plastic at Quincy I should have done more research before doing the procedure. read more

I came in last month to get a consultation with Dr. Gupta because he was new to the practice and I have hard lips to work on due to a childhood injury. I have to admit I was nervous as hell when I found out Dr Samaha wasn't doing injections anymore and they advised me to see Dr. Gupta. When Dr. Gupta walked into the room I immediately liked him and his bedside manner he was extremely attentive and paid attention to what I was looking for and took his time. I immediately booked with him a month laster even though he was willing I to do my lips that day. I didn't want to go to work swollen. During my appointment he was falling behind and his assistant came right away to tell me and I thought it was respectful because most drs don't do that. I was 100% ok and when I seen him he apologized and did my lips and they look amazing. I highly recommend him. His personality was amazing because he was just down to earth. read more

I had an amazing experience at Boston plastic surgery. I had been researching for a few years where to get a breast augmentation and I am so happy I chose this facility. The entire team are very accommodating and respectful. The doctors and nurses listen to what you wants and provide the best results that are safe, effective, and beautiful. I felt that the doctors were very transparent and helped me with the physical and emotional part of recovery pre op and post op. The rate was very fair and standard for the Boston area (just under 8000$) which you can pay in full or finance. Another bonus was receiving up to 50 units of complementary Botox and a filler consultation. I got both and received lip fillers a few weeks after my surgery. If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would! Today is actually the day that I had my breast lift surgery as well as minor Lipo suction. This is the first time I've ever had surgery or undergone anesthesia in my young ripe age of 34. I was fortunate enough to be recommended to Dr. Lee by several colleagues as well as the practice itself when they heard of what I was looking for. As someone who works at two emergency departments, in a non-surgical capacity mind you, I was Extremely impressed with Dr. Lee and the practice as a whole. I went in for a consultation and then a pre-op appointment prior to my surgery. It is not easy standing topless in a room with a surgeon you had just met moments ago as well as with his female colleague. Dr. Lee made the experience extremely comfortable from the moment he walked in the room. He answered every question, was extraordinarily thorough, has a very calming demeanor, and made sure I was aware that he was always available for questions if I had them. This morning, the day of my surgery, I decided to stay at the Marriott in Quincy as it is only a half mile down the road and I felt it was the easiest solution to being at my appointment promptly at 7 AM. Dr. Lee, his surgical nurse, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse assigned to be "my nurse" (called the day before surgery and the day after to see if I had any questions. Also was very kind to drive me back to the hotel which was an added bonus of staying there as opposed to the long drive home) came in individually to meet me which calmed the nerves that never came because I felt at ease from the moment I walked into this office. The most remarkable moment for me was when the anesthesiologist said that I did not require a breathing tube due to the kind of anesthesia they use on an outpatient basis (not to say this would be the case for ever surgery they perform). This was honestly my biggest concern, or one of my biggest, as I've never had a breathing tube and was concerned about the possible after affects. The surgery took place on site at the actual practice. I was able to walk from the examination room right into the operation room where everyone went above and beyond to make me feel as calm as possible. You could see that they enjoyed working together due to the frequent smiles and jokes that were being told. After being given my anesthesia through the IV the anesthesiologist had set up for me I fell asleep about five minutes later. I woke up to the lovely face of "my nurse" who was there to answer any questions, get me the water I so desperately felt I needed due to not being able to have anything from midnight on the night before, and was even kind enough to help me to the restroom when I needed to go. I had initially gone to this practice looking for a consultation for breast augmentation, but Dr. Lee strongly recommended a Lift first so that if I chose to go ahead with the augmentation afterwards I would get the best results possible. He did mention that I might be happy with the results of the lift and may not want to move forward with the augmentation at all. My post op appointment is in one week from today where Dr. Lee will be able to see the results of my recovery. I had asked Dr. Lee if I decided to go ahead with the augmentation how long from now, with it being mid October, would I wait for a possible augmentation, and he Felt that it could be as soon as February or March. If I decide to go ahead with the augmentation, which I likely will, I will not go anywhere else besides Boston plastic surgery, or have any other surgeon besides dr.lee. With this being my first and only surgery, I know I don't have much to compare it to, but the fact that I was extraordinarily comfortable and confident in the surgical team and wouldn't change anything about my experience, makes me think that this would be the best practice to continue working with going forward. On a sidenote, I was at an appointment this past Sunday getting lip injections (I have no shame in sharing that lol) and when the practitioner heard that I had the surgery with Dr. Lee she mentioned she had a colleague that had recently gotten reconstructive surgery with Dr. Lee from a botched breast augmentation that had been done earlier in the year in Western mass. She herself had heard only positive things about him and his expertise. Her reassurance that I was in extraordinarily capable hands made me feel even further at ease. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Lee. I know he is relatively new to this practice, but with my experience over the past few months and today's surgery results I can't imagine going anywhere else! read more

This was my second time back and not as pleased as the first time. Although I was very afraid to see a nurse and not the Doctor Gupta I had before as he left Marianne was fantastic. I did have a small discoloration that has not gone away on my right facial cheek I made a few attempts to go back but because of the rudeness and non caring of the person I will leave out her name on the phone I decided not too. She just gave me the date and time so fast without asking me if it was alright for me and hung up. She always gave me a holiday weekend so if I was to have any correction procedure I could not enjoy my weekend plans. Lisa is the person who is a treasure and fantastic on the phone but I did not receive her. I am very easy going and polite on the phone and do not like to be treated this way. I would give it 5 stars for Lisa Moody and Marianne Savage and 1star for the other person. People pay great money there, even if they didn't, it does not hurt to be nice. read more

I debated about writing this review for a while. Dr. Samaha is a good and competent surgeon, sure, but it's Boston -- you can't throw a rock without hitting a world-class surgeon. That's really the only thing the facility has going for it. I found the staff, Samaha excepted, to be somewhat rude and they had very little patience with my questions and concerns. I was never shown any before/after photos, except what is already on their website. They do have a computer simulation preview thing, but when I expressed concerns over the simulation's prediction (it wasn't quite what I was looking for), Dr. Samaha said that the simulation wasn't accurate, and everything would be fine. That turned out not to be the case, but whatever, the results are still a net-positive. Also, the way they store credit cards is illegal in Massachusetts -- they store full CC numbers/expiration dates in a plaintext document that the receptionist has easy access to. I found this out when I asked if they had my AmEx on file, and the receptionist happily responded by reading the full card number and expiration date back to me! Wow, um... I hope they don't get audited under 201 CMR 17.00? The head nurse did address my concern about the credit card thing, saying that the receptionist was "sure it was actually me before she gave me any card information," and that *I* was lying about the full number being read back to me (the receptionist apparently said she only read the last 4 digits). So, whatever, it's a he said/she said thing, but, given that do a lot of work in computer security as a software engineer, I don't really get "last four" and "full number" mixed up. Storing full numbers and expiration dates (and god knows what else) on the receptionist's computer really isn't something I appreciate in an office that stores my personal health information as well. So, the rest of my visits there was awkward after that whole incident. The only reason I didn't back out was because they had a large non-refundable deposit from me (although they passive-aggressively told me I could just walk away if I was uncomfortable, multiple times. It was super weird), and really, I just wanted it to be over with. I didn't go back for follow-up appointments after my first one (just to make sure everything was healing correctly), but I just didn't see a good reason to, other than "they want before/after photos for advertising." The anesthesiologist also blew a vein, which has never happened to me before, and I've had anesthesia and IVs many many times. But, hey, these things happen, and waking up as you're being stitched and prodded (WITH local and a blocked view, mind you) was actually kind of an interesting weird/fun experience. My arm hurt like a mother-f**** though for a few hours afterward. Anyway, not a great experience all in all, but YMMV. read more

Yeah, my man was the first to review but I wanted to make sure my lady lumps looked decent before posting. I'm a week post-op and they look amaaaazing. Staff here has been great from the beginning. Dr. Samaha knew what I wanted (my right boob was flat and I wanted a natural looking augmentation) and he got me the perfect size. They also use 3D Axis imaging technology here, which gives the best simulation of implant sizes. I went on the small side and no one at work has noticed so far. To me, that's a good thing. Dr. Samaha performed a rhinoplasty on me 10 years ago. He left me with a crooked uneven nose. I asked him to fix it, he did a second surgery and it still looked exactly the same. Ten years later, as I age, the mess he made of my nose shows terribly, I am embarrassed by it. I am now seeking out another plastic surgeon to perform a revision rhinoplasty to fix my nose. I paid Dr. Samaha a lot of money between the two surgeries and now will have to pay even more for a revision rhinoplasty. Beware, he may be good at breasts but is not good at noses. read more

I had a rhino done about a year ago by dr. Samaha. During my appointments we discussed the shape that we both thought would be good. I must say like some other reviews say he does seem sometimes like it was gonna be his way or no way. Until finally I was persistent enough to say the change I wanted since it was my nose. I specifically told him every appointment including the day of my procedure that I wanted a SIGNIFICANT change. He always assured me. After my surgery when we took the cast off I didn't notice much of a change. He told me once the swelling went down I would notice it much more. Well it's been very close to a year and nothing. I mean a my hump was taken down but I never received the slight slope we talked about. To be honest I think it still looks kind of similar from before. I didn't have any complications. A small scar under my nose which in his defense he did tell me I may have that which I was fine with. Other then that no other serious complications that he didn't tell me about before hand. I never went back and I will never. Everyone says he's good with tummy tucks but I've read a few reviews for noses and I would really do your research first. I won't go to him to revise it. If I ever do decide to it will definitely be somewhere else where I feel like they will respect my decision a little more since I mean I am the one paying for it. read more
