Came in tonight for chicken wings. Decided to order spinach dip, onion rings and the wings. Two of us shared it. Was so yummy. Didn't end up eating rings and taking 2 wings home. Waitress was really friendly and fast service. Always enjoy ourselves. Miss the old, before covid, menu though. read more

Really terrible experience here. Our waiter was clearly under the influence, slurring his words, and even said "my brain isn't working right now." It took him 2 minutes to read my boyfriend's ID and he still couldn't find the birthdate, he said "wait 1995 just turned 21 years old, right?" Then he handed the card back, before asking to look at it a second time to check. He was also just rude with his ton of voice. We requested a different server to another worker; however, no one told our server that he was no longer working with us so he approached our table and tried to take our order and we had to explain to him directly that we requested a different server (uncomfortable) and he was rude in response. He continued to approach us the rest of the evening despite the complaint (clearing plates, etc.). The GM came to take our order instead, she did not introduce herself, did not address or even recognize the situation (no apology either), quickly took the order and left the table. Drinks were refilled only once when requested. As we finished our food and was waiting a rather long time for the check a different supervisor appeared to ask how things were going (we assumed she was referring to the situation) so we briefly explained what happened. She was very receptive and said she would speak to her manager (the GM)...the GM approaches us quickly and rudely hands us the bill, does not address anything (still). We asked if she was going to do anything about the situation and she rudely said "there IS a discount on the recent" (the discount was not significant). The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and Sherry, our server, was a delight. We'll definitely be returning.

As travelers from just outside of Chicago, we had taken the CAT ferry from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth on the last day of it's operating season, 10-9-23 to begin the Nova Scotia portion of our vacation. This day was apparently Canada's Thanksgiving and after going through a well organized customs check, we discovered most restaurants in Yarmouth were closed. THANKFULLY, we came upon Boston Pizza. Not expecting much more than a Pizza Hut-type place, we were pleasantly surprised at the vast menu choices. Not only do they have a large selection of specialty pizza choices, including pierogi and thai, they have many pasta choices, some great sounding salads, ribs, steak, and a variety of sandwiches which go beyond the typical Italian-style ones generally offered at a pizza establishment. We ended up ordering sandwiches-the chicken club for myself and Big-dipper for my husband. They were large, tasty and we had leftovers for lunch the next day too! However, the greatest part of our experience at BP was our waitress Sheri! She was so sweet and welcoming and she patiently and knowledgeably answered all our questions about the menu , the restaurant and gave us her personal favorites when questioned, which we fortunately ordered. She even offered to bring us samples of the different sauces that were offered on the various sandwiches so we could choose the ones we liked on whichever sandwich we chose.Keep in mind, through pleasant conversation, we discovered this kind lady had just cooked a huge holiday dinner the day before for all her adult kids and grandkids.She was a rare "star" in the service industry that we have experienced post-Covid. We kept thanking her for all her time and patience and she just kept saying how much she loved talking to people and taking care of her customers.You could tell she loved what she did and took pride in her service. Other patrons we recognized from the ferry seemed to be enjoying their meals and her attentive/thoughtful service, as well. It was an incredibly positive first experience in NS! Thanks Sheri! This is one of the nicest decorated BPs anywhere. It was clean and quiet and perfectly lit. The food was very predictable and on time. Although the wine list was missing the staples the substitutes were plenty. This BP only missed in one event. The management needs to be aware of its surroundings!! The only other decent restaurant open in wintertime wasn't !! Due to street repairs Rudders was closed. But the management didn't staff accordingly. read more

Being from Ontario, I was surprised to see that the majority of restaurants in Yarmouth close at 9:00! After much searching, we came upon Boston Pizza. I've been here twice since we arrived a week ago and both times I've been pleased. I was there this past Thursday for their trivia night, and then last night. I find it difficult to complain about the service in this end of NS. Everyone is so nice, and the servers don't disappoint. Whether I was in the dining room or the bar side, I was treated very well. I will return again on Thursday for another trivia night! The food was good too! I had the garlic fingers (breadstick type things) which was delicious, and I personally had the pepperoni pizza. we had lunch there while getting our car serviced at Canadian Tire. We have done this before and had a great waitress which makes up for the very average food. Yesterday, our waitress disappeared after serving the food. We had asked for one order to be split between us ... it arrived on one plate and I had to ask for a second plate. I told the waitress that the kitchen usually splits the meal for us onto two plates. That was the last time she came to the table. We asked for parmesan cheese and it came as that dried stuff in a shaker. The food was only lukewarm and the noodles were limp and overcooked. When we went to pay the bill never came to the table, so we went to the till. Another person, not our waitress came and said that we would have to wait for our waitress. Not having that, she relented and looked up our bill so we could pay and depart. Today we have the tummy rumbles and wonder if it is related to the lukewarm (not food-safe temperature) food? We will not be going back to BP anytime soon. Note - there was a birthday party with adults and teens wandering around the restaurant with no masks on and another customer that came in without a mask and was seated. No action is apparent from management to remind patrons to wear a mask. A substantial effort was noted to clean tables and sanitize but no effort to police mask-wearing. Not a good place to eat if you are Covid concerned! read more

Food is mediocre, but portions are large. On our visit, our server completely disappeared, and another server checked on us just before we had finished, apologizing that she'd have to go find our server, who never did come back. We went to the front to pay and saw the servers eating in the bar side and socializing. That explained the absence. read more

Had a layover in Yarmouth and went to dinner at Boston Pizza. Overall, it was a good experience as the wings are cooked and offered many different ways. The pepperoni pizza was good, Bloody Mary very good and service great. Would return when back in Yarmouth. read more

We arrived from a late night ferry. Three of us were very hungry. The only place open to eat was Boston Pizza. We arrived 11:10 pm and we're told that the kitchen closed at 11:00pm. The manager, Diane, took pity on us, had the chef refire the pizza oven and prepared some pizza for us. Not only was the pizza tasty, but the staff took great care of us and all with a great attitude. Diane was great! It was our first visit to Nova Scotia and I must say, a very good first impression. read more

Love the service at this location. Very friendly amd accomidating to some order changes to suit my diet restrictions.

Depending on what server you get will drastically change your experience here. I've been here a few times where we seen the server to order and receive our food and that's it. Never came back for refills and didn't even bring the cheque. I had to walk up and ask for it from a different server. The food is generally food and the prices aren't horrible. read more
