So I've tried Boston pizzas in Mississauga and had no complaints. I ordered a chicken Parmesan pasta and I would say as very, very disappointed and when I received it, it was cold. The waiter took a very long time to come every time so I did not have the best experience I don't even think I took a picture. We're always looking for someone for help, they weren't even busy and there was just like oh well get your waiter so it wasn't like anyone could help us and I would go to that location again I'll be quite honest. read more

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Took forever to order drinks and server returned 20 minutes later - no drinks. Reordered and ordered food. "Hot" appies arrived cold 40 minutes later and dinner arrived moments later. 3 of 4 dinners Sent back for a simple reheat (we had already waited toooooo long for a refire) Reheated meals still cold. Server comped one meal and bill was still $75+ with one beer, one appie, wilted Ceasar salad, 2 cold dinners. Won't be back. Won't recommend to anyone. read more

We went to dinner to celebrate my daughter's last exam. The service was great and the atmosphere was upbeat but my dinner was literally so bad. I can't believe it actually left the kitchen and I felt insulted that someone would serve that to me. My burger was so overdone and dry and the bun was so hard I couldn't even bite into it!. This is a good restaurant chain. The food is consistently good, if not great, across the menu. They have different pizzas available. Definitely not the best pizza you can get (the crust is not thin or cracker-like enough) but the toppings and flavour combinations are good. Sandwiches and appetizers are also generally good. They treat kids very well and keep them entertained with nice giveaways. It is definitely a chain experience, but a good one for the genre. read more

Was recently in the area for a martial arts tournament, and our team stopped here for dinner. It was huge, and they had no problem seating us right away. They got the drink orders right for everyone, which is rare for a large party of about 20. Was surprised by the large selection on the menu. I actualy had to take awhile to decide what I wanted. I had the chicken mushroom alfredo with a side of cheesy garlic bread. I thought it was a little pricey at $17.95, but when I received my food it was AMAZING. Chicken and mushrooms done to perfection, sauce rich and creamy- I ate the entire plate and had to have my Dad help me finish the garlic bread, since it was that good. Boston Pizza feels like an over priced fast food restaurant that you can sit down to place your order rather then stand at a counter. Which could account for the crowds. They have a great selection with something for everyone however I am also not convinced that the food is made fresh. It tastes like the kitchen sources the food from the freezer or a can. read more

Went into the one in Somerset Calgary with my girl friend for some pizza and a beer. Looking at the menu I thought "this is i bit pricey, but hey they must have some great pizza here to be charging that much for a pizza". We each ordered a drink I had a beer and to be honest I forget what she ordered. In any case we decided on a pizza and ordered. It actually took a lot longer than expected to come to us and even when it finally did come the pizza was extremely over cooked and not very appetizing at all. I couldnt believe they would even bring food that looked like that out at all and for the price they wanted for that pizza it was outrageous! When our waitress ( who by the way did a great job for her part ) came back we asked to just throw the pizza away for us informed her that we would just be paying for our drinks and then leaving. Have never gone back since and never would. Mcdonalds makes better pizza for goodness sake. terrible experience. Spend your money on good food this stuff is all pre-made and pre-portioned and then thrown into the fridge or freezer until its needed. So I have just also learned that three of their stores in Kitchener-Waterloo have been closed without any notice to ANY employee, they are not paying anything at all for the last 2 weeks they worked AND I have just noticed they plan on reopening in a month. I am guess with all new staff as the old staff would have to be pretty stupid to go back to a company that has screwed them so extremely. Terrible terrible company all around just avoid at all costs. As for a way to fix the first problem there isnt one the food is terrible i wouldnt go back even if offered a years worth of free food. read more

Face it all they have in the back is a big freezer. Chicken parm. Water was leaking from my chicken onto the plate . Pasta over cooked. Tasteless bread. They just want to give you a mediocre meal for the most they can charge for it. - just yuk read more

I can't believe how crowded this place always seems to be. It's a sportsbar/pizza place. A little overpriced in my opinion for what you get. The food is mediocre and while not the worst I've had, definitely not anything worth repeating. Tried it twice, but probably won't go back. read more

always a gathering place for teams on friday nights after a great game of soccer. like the atmosphere and the service but not the quality of food. don't get the pizza's as you can have much better ones almost anywhere else (i know, it's funny for a pizza place) unless you make your own in which case you get to spend a lot. careful with the specials as they are mostly at the bar and they don't warn you of that when you order. i had a few odd moments trying to show the help fliers all around the dining room with the day's specials only to have them refuse my claims every time. best food here, undoubtedly the nachos (fully-loaded) and the philly-cheesesteak sandwich. read more

The movie finished late and most of our usual places were closed so we tried this one. Tuesday is pasta special day so I ordered the seafood linguine with Alfredo sauce, which I usually LOVE. My daughter ordered linguine with a rose sauce and a few meatballs. We also had the Caesar's to start and one order of cheesy garlic bread. The salad was delish and huge (2.45!) with Renee's dressing. The cheesy garlic bread wasn't very garlicky at all and was so-so. My pasta had cubes of overcooked salmon in it, (not very pleasant), 4 tiny shrimp, and a few itty bitty scallops, and even when covered in their grated parmesan cheese had almost no taste whatsoever. I think they forgot to add cheese to the sauce! My daughter's pasta sauce wasn't much better, what there was of it. Talk about skimpy... Enough just to barely coat the pasta and lacking any flavour. The meatballs are light and huge and slightly peppery. They're ok, and might have been better with some sauce but there wasn't any to spare on the plate! The pasta was quite dry. All in all, an edible meal, but lacking flavour. Most of it ended up in take out containers. We plan on adding cheese and sauces when we reheat it. Too expensive to just throw away. Even on the Tuesday special, no drinks, just water our meal was close to $40. When I saw the menu I was quite excited and said we'll have to come back a few times to try some other things... NO!... Not after wasting money on these two dishes. I wish we had just gone home and opened a bottle of Classico Alfredo from the supermarket and boiled some fresh pasta. Also, the pasta was a bit more then al dente. It was hard. I guess their pizza must be better, but we'll never know now. Wish I had tried something else instead. read more

Terrible service! The food is always great, don't get me wrong as I love Boston pizza. However, the servers always seem to be completely unorganized and frankly, rude. I tell myself every time I go to this location that I will not go back and after this last visit I definitely won't. My server took 15 minutes to bring us the bill (my boyfriend and I counted) after we had already discussed that we were catching a movie that night, making it very clear that we were on a time crunch. Ordered delivery and it was cold my lettuce was soggy gross borderline bad. Took an hr n half for delivery and they don't even accommodate anything when you order online. (would have liked cheese). Pizza bread app was hard as a rock n for the price of the food. Meal averaging at 13 to 16 dollars it was a huge disappointment read more

As a party of eight, three generations ranging from 7 to 66, we wanted a family meal together to enjoy each other as one of the eight lives in Alberta and we're rarely all together. We called for reservations and were told they don't take any but if part of the party came 40 minutes before our desired time, they would have time to get a table for us. What they didn't tell us until we'd waited for at least an hour was that they couldn't take reservations for eight because they were already committed to two very largely parties with a total of 50 people. They kept encouraging us to go to the bar. My husband and I don't drink and were offended by that suggestion but kept that to ourselves, politely declining that offer. They wanted to put us in two different tables close together, but then we wouldn't be able to enjoy each other as we wanted so we politely declined again. When three of us got there 40 minutes early, we were told it would be 20 minutes. An hour later, it was still 20 minutes. About that time, the rest of the party started displaying their displeasure and the manager got involved. Only then did anything start to happen. They did give us free appetizers to make up for the inconvenience and we did get good service. The food was OK. However, I have an invisible illness and waiting for that length of time has completely done me in. What I am upset about is the lack of honesty on the part of the hostess. If we had known at the beginning they that were committed to two parties totalling 50 people, we could have made an informed decision about where we would go. By the time we realized what we were facing, we were stuck. It was too late to back out and start over with another restaurant. read more
