They make homemade pasta and gorgeous sauces, fresh baked crusty bread and the most delectable tiramisu (which you must take away with you if you're too full after your meal). My only complaint is that it's a little on the pricey side and the menu is limited to pasta and a few lovely "secondo" dishes. But if you're jonesing for entirely fresh home cooking, you won't go wrong here! The owner is friendly and endearing and his turban reveals that he's Sikh, but be assured it's authentic Italian -- his wife (the chef) was raised in Italy and they moved their family to Regina from Italy only 2 years ago.

Their first experience with ham and pineapple! As kids we would order in pizza from all the local Greek restaraunts who had a similar recipe. Turns out they were all brothers and cousins. Their kids are making their mark in the community to this day! That pizza left a permenant beautiful memory in my flavour palate! Houston was a favourite and when the Hill ave location opened it became my go-to location. The pizza is always thick, full of toppings and cheese. The best thing ever for breakfast, the day after ordering it in. Their dry ribs and sautéed mushrooms are meals unto themselves! So good! The pasta as good, if not better than any you'll ever have, unless you're Italian or Greek, then your grandmother gets top shelf there! love the dine-in atmosphere. Extremely comfortable inside. Pick up is quick and efficient. Staff are hard working, good people! Love this place and hopefully you will too!

When I asked the waitress what type of rice was used, she didn't know and had to check with the chef. She returned saying it was Jasmine rice. For anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine, risotto should be made with Arborio rice, cooked al dente, and prepared with the right ingredients. Calling that dish "risotto" was misleading. Despite that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance because it's close to my workplace. Today, however, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience. I had made a reservation for two yesterday and requested specific dishes (soup and salad). This morning, due to work commitments, I asked the other person to cancel the reservation. Shortly after, I received a call from the owner. His reaction shocked me--he was rude, aggressive, and argumentative, even as I apologized. Instead of trying to understand the situation or find a solution, he kept escalating the conversation. When I tried to mention customer service, he was completely dismissive, so I ended the call. I overlooked my first bad experience and kept going back, but after today, I will never return. Think twice before visiting--if this is how the owner treats customers, imagine how he treats his staff.

Especially when half of the staff remembered us from 6 months ago. I get it, hard to get good help and it's a big place. Great products and hard to find imported items abound. I'll be back, hopefully the management has spanked some employees by then.

I was told the guy making the pizza didn't want to wreck it by adding extra toppings. That's totally fine, but I was still charged for them. I won't be going back for that reason alone. Otherwise, in fairness, everything was up to par, if not excellent. Even the pizza, minus the extra toppings was great. The crust was thin, soft and moist in the middle and chewy and charred along the edge. The sauce was good and there was lots of ingredients on it. Alex was very friendly and chatty. This is a chain and there is one not too far from me in Toronto. I'll be checking it out!
