I want to give a very big thank you to Tyler. I will definitely be back soon for her wonderful service. and the food was good too. read more

Had dinner at this location and our experienced was good. The place was a bit busy so food serving time is a bit longer. Our sever was great as she always check our table. The food was okay. The Chicken Pecan Salad I had was very good. I was surprised I finished it all. read more

We usually stop by for dinner one night every time we go ice fishing in the area. Previous visits were subpar, with lack of servers and hosts which results in us waiting awkwardly at the front for a while before we're acknowledged. This past weekend we had a much better reception and it was actually slightly busy for once so there was a host to greet us. We split some wings and caesar salads and got our own pastas. For January it's Pasta Tuesday all month long. I got the spinach bake and added shrimp. At $6, I was expecting the grilled garlic shrimp that is shown on their menu pic for the jambalaya. Instead it's the tiny cold water shrimp you get at the deli that's smaller than your pinky, and I think I maybe had 5 shrimp. I had to ask if they forgot the shrimp because you couldn't seven see it in the pasta bake, and even the manager(?) who dropped it off agreed to check with the kitchen because he couldn't see it in the dish either! They were the same size as the sliced mushrooms in the dish. My friends ordered the smoky mountain spaghetti and meatballs and that was the better looking dish for sure. My recommendation is to skip on adding proteins as it's a total ripoff. read more

Merritt BP do better. After a nine hour drive we chose to order delivery to our hotel; that is an up charge (approx $7) to walk it across a parking lot. We specifically asked for utensils in the online order platform (you are delivering to a hotel room so this should be a no brainer). Our food showed up late, and NO UTENSILS! read more

6 were there for dinner last night. Two of us ordered the Jambalaya and when it was served it was barely warm. We had to call the server over to tell her. So it finally comes back and it's barely warm again. So we had to call the server again and asked if they had a microwave. So it finally came back and was hot. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant and we shouldn't have had to call the servers, they should have came to see if everything was fine. read more

Popped into here with the fam jam for lunch on our road trip from Seattle back to Edmonton, Alberta. The kids menu comes inside a fun coloring and activity booklet to help keep the kids busy while waiting for their food. My daughter was disappointed that she couldn't enter the colouring contest inside the booklet as the entry deadline was nearly a year ago (weird). The kids quite enjoyed their kid's meals - they opted for Bugs 'n Cheese (cute) and Burgers. I really appreciated the side options of sliced cucumbers and red peppers and so did the kidlets. The kids meal also includes a beverage and a design your own sundae where they pick the sauce and toppings - my kids thought the choices were pretty rad - who offers nerds and/or chocolate rocks? Evidently BP does! The hubs and I shared the special of the day (wings) and the server suggested we mix/match sauces which I really appreciated and turned out quite good! (I highly recommend honey garlic mixed with HOT). I was sooooo excited to try the new summer feature salad and the description had my mouth watering: Roasted Beet and Peach Salad An arugula and Tuscan lettuce blend tossed in balsamic dressing, with roasted red beets, roasted peaches, candied pecans, roasted red peppers and goat cheese. Finished with pesto and a balsamic glaze. Unfortunately, the delivered salad did not live up to the description or the photo on the menu. The peaches were sparse and the pecans were not candied. The Candying of the pecans is really simple and easy to do yet they were NOT candied. I asked the server and she said, "Yeah, some other customers have said the same thing." Well, then fix it! She said their chef soaks the pecans in sugar water in the fridge and that is how he candies them. Ummm... What? The salt and savoury of the salad would be complimented so perfectly by the sweet of the peaches and candied pecan if there were a) enough peaches or b) if the pecans were actually candied! Alright, enough of my candy pecan rant :-( We waited an extraordinary amount of time for our server to return for the kiddos to order their dessert portion of the kids' meal and for us to get the bill. We finally got up to go ask the hostess who did help us and was friendly. I would come here again in a pinch, but our experience didn't leave me yearning to come back. Oh yeah, one funny thing... I always check if washrooms have change tables for babies and they did not have any changetables but they did have a gum dispensing machine in the washroom - first I'd seen of that. read more

We walked in to the restaurant with a few tables just finishing up, otherwise it was dead. We quickly ordered as the waitress was expecting a 20 top to come and order soon. We put our order in before they even sat down. We were then asked to move seats, which we complied and moved our two toddlers and ourselves. 20 minutes passed and they walked by us with the 20 tops food and I had to ask another waitress where our food was, as our waitress wasn't anywhere to be seen, she let us know it was coming, we waited close to 45 minutes. We ordered a gluten free club, spaghetti for the kids, and a Thai wrap for myself. The food didn't reflect in quality, the horrendous price we were charged. It was average at best. Definitely not an establishment I would recommend, Boston Pizzas used to be good! I'm not sure what's happened. read more

So they emailed me today concerning my review from last week... and said they really care that my steak sammy wasn't up to par (very grissley) or that I didn't like the new version of the calimari. I appreciate that, so back in town today, I thought I'd try again, and ordered the New York Steak with Garlic Mashed. It came quick and the presentation was nice and neat. Luck of the draw, my first bite had a 1.75 in x .25 inch chunk of solid grissle. The rest was ok. Not the most flavorful steak i have ever had, but it served the purpose. I really wish they had a more upscale steak for spoiled brats like me eating on the company dime. That said, I don't like to give negative reviews as I have the utmost respect for those trying to make a buck in this industry, and I don't consider this or the 4 stars negative, the place is a main stay for me as I travel all over Canada, and I appreciate the fact I can find a BP almost anywhere. But after having eaten the whole menu at one time or another, I have never been wowed. I am not a pizza guy and I know that's always really good, but I can't eat that much carbs. The wings are great too, but only can eat them once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I'll come back but the food is usually not the reason why, it's usually because it's clean, friendly and familiar, the drinks are cold and it's cheery here. Just what I need when traveling for weeks at a time. read more

Just walked out. Sat for 15 minutes after being seated in the lounge and not offered a menu or a drink. THERE ARE 6 bloody people in here. Useless staff. Manager had come to see me to tell me they were out of mozzarella and couldn't do pizzas ( which was fine) and bacon. The staff is a great advertisement for eating elsewhere read more

I'm done... at least weekly I go to the same Boston pizza order the same thing. Have a beer while I wait. Eat a bit then take rest home. This time I get a tropical chicken that has hot sauce dumped on top. So spicy can't be eaten and the toppings literally slide off on the plate. I sheepishly ask the server if that's normal and then I get the grumpy male manager. Insisting that's the way they always are. I get one every week. That's not normal. I'm made to feel like a tool because it's not my normal pizza. Insisting it's normal the manager says he'll either take it off my bill or I can get a small replacement. What.... I'm hungry. So he says he'll take it off bill. Server brings me bill. I pay. Yet I'm charged still. What... then the server tells me newkitchen staff and they're still learning. Now the truth come out. BS. Mr manager. The customers always right and you were a jerk. Made me feel like a tool. I didn't get my dinner. So now I have a credit for a restaurant that I really don't want to go back to because of being treated poorly read more

Boston Pizza - Slimy icky hot sauce dumped on top not really edible and a manager who insisted that's they way they're always made. - Pizza Near Me - Merritt, British Columbia

Wow BP really outdid themselves this time! The place was used for the post rally celebrations for the Pacific Forest Rally with a great buffet of salads, pizza's and wings. I missed out on most of the celebrations that night because I was so tired from the days events. I was here the night before for a late night meal with team Can Jam and some friends. Most of the places in town close early, so it was nice to know that there was a place open late enough for us to get food. read more

Boston Pizza - a car parked in front of a pizza parlor - Pizza Near Me - Merritt, British Columbia

Atmosphere is typical BP, sat in and waited twenty minutes for a water (which we didnt get). There were two other tables so it wasnt busy in the slightest. Could see our drinks on the bar counter, if it weren't for covid rules I would have walked up and grabbed them. Our waiter (short with glasses) was gawking with another table constantly, ignored us the entire time. So we left. Would have loved some thai chilli bites. read more

Pizza was pretty good. Had the Tuscan pizza and it was pretty delicious. Restaurant was clean and convenient for travellers. Love the kids lunch specials...pizza, drink, side and ice cream for $4.99. Great deal! Service was slow which is why I gave it 3 stars. They might have just been busy with Sunday lunch but it was a bit annoying. read more

Boston Pizza - Tuscan pizza - Pizza Near Me - Merritt, British Columbia

I do not like recommend. But then that's typical for all Boston pizzas it seems to me that the food is pretty much frozen before and just heated up read more

Atmosphere: Like all other Boston pizzas there were booths, tables, and bar seats. Lounge are and restaurant side available. Service: slow. They seemed understaffed though. The servers were nice. The mvp burger - 3.5/5 Waited half an hour for food The spaghetti it came with was basic meat sauce which was fine. Could use some basil. It was good enough. The beef was ok. There were some cartilage chunks in there but I dont mind that. The sauce in the burger was like a tartar sauce. It tasted good with the cheddar, pickles, and tartar. The brioche was actually done well. Overall in Merritt, not a terrible choice read more

It was like any other Boston Pizza that I have been to with one exception. Kids were allowed on the lounge side if accompained by a parent or gaurdian. The food was as good as I would have it expected to be from a Boston Pizza. The service was decent, even though our server seemed to be too busy with the lounge and the patio tables. All I can really say is that it was average. I wish there was something more memorable, or great, about this location. read more

Good spot right off the highway. Quiet, clean decent selection of beer and wine. We got the spinach and artichoke dip and it was really good.! read more

A perfect place for those travelling with full pockets and family. Good for groups, not for dates. Good for relaxing, not for entertainment, and the customer service is either VERY good or VERY bad. It really depends when you get there. The food is certainly delicious, especially most of the appetizers and pizzas. Specifically recommended is the spinach and artichoke dip. Absolutely fantastic. The waitresses are generally friendly, but the abundance of younger employees means that they always seem to be in the middle of the learning curve. Sometimes they forget a drink, sometimes they take a long time to check in with you, and sometimes they make small mistakes with your order. I will add that they very rarely do anything more than apologize and fix the issue afterwards, just be patient. On the other hand, some of the older, more experienced workers have glared at myself and my family, argued over things like whether or not we asked for a refill, or simply neglect any sort of hospitalities. Hit or miss, but when it does one or the other, it really does. read more

if i could give this establishment a 0 i would. horrible service. horrible food. overall a horrid experience i would never want to put myself through mentally again. i've never met a server who got mad AT ME for her giving me the wrong order. i guess there's a first for everything. it's in everyone's best interest if you do not come here ever. my food took over an hour and a half, by the time it came (and i was given the wrong order) everyone else i was eating with had finished their food. i am emotionally drained. i never want to do this again. xx gill out. read more

Keeping in mind that this is a Boston Pizza, I give this location 4 stars for food quality. Friendly service and the same BP food you can expect from any location - Just what we needed while driving through town! read more

I've been here a few times as we have a summer house on the Bench. The first visit was good but the other times their trademark pizza was cooling down before it reached our table. ***The servers really have to improve on getting the orders to the table on time instead of leaving them on the counter. Their jambalya & pasta dishes are good and their pizza are the best if they can get it served to your table, HOT! read more

Went here for someones birthday. Even told the hostess that it was a birthday dinner.... The place had many empty tables, but she said she couldn't seat us for 15-20 minutes because the servers were too busy with the tables they had. Really? Seriously? That was bull, and just shows how terrible the servers are. I hate this place. read more

My review remains the same - Service was friendly and food was delicious. Pizza was luke warm when it got to the table but tasty and my only complaint! When I attempted to contact Joanne at Boston Pizza as suggested by her response, I got "bad domain or deleted" Lol read more

Had an awful experience with the waitress named TYLER. She was rude and condescending. Never had a smile on her face. She messed up on our order and never apologized. When we asked for something she said in such a rude manner that she only had two hands trying to insinuate we are stupid. She was in a jolly good mood talking to couple behind us for 10 min but did a 180 when it came to our table so it honestly made us think she was racist. We complained to the manager and he too agreed we shouldn't have been treated this way. I hope something was done about it because that's not cool to be treated that way. If you ever get her save yourself and request someone else because you won't enjoy your experience!! read more

Stopped here on the way to Kamloops when it wad dinner time and the Husky gas station snacks would have been better. Our server was a cranky wench who didnt want to be there and the food sucked. Ding! the microwave cooked our meals pretty quick read more

The service was extremely poor by the General Manager Chris. We ordered appetizers and meals and the meal came within a minute of the appetizers. Chris was very annoyed when my daughter was unable to mover her appetizer plate quickly so he could put down the pizza plate. When I suggested that most restaurants don't bring out the meals until the appetizers are done, he rudely replied "NO we don't do that here and we have large hockey tournament coming in". When my husband said "that's your problem" he threatened to kick us out and call the police. It was the weirdest restaurant experience I've ever had and I won't be rushing back to Boston Pizza in Merritt anytime soon. I guess our $100 is just not worth Chris' time. read more

This place was awesome! Being one of the only non-fast-food restaurants open on a Sunday, we had little choice, but we were quite impressed! The vegetarian options were quite good as well. Okay so it's Boston Pizza .... Fare runs from okay to yuck depending on the day. I dined there a dozen times and it just doesn't improve. The food here has a institutional feel and taste The place is clean and roomy and the service is quite good. Overpriced given the quality of the food. read more

Stopped there with my wife and daughter on our way to Salmon Arm. Ordered and waited for 1 HOUR before we decided to get up and walk out as the food hadn't arrived... 2 other tables were seated 1/2 an hour after us and they received their food! Food is somewhat okay, the staff dress code is not to appropriate for family atmosphere. Find the food cold most of the time.

The service was very slow. Took 20 minutes just to get my iced tea and then my order was wrong. Good was nothing special. Waitress was sassy as well. Would not recommend. read more

Wow. Nice atmosphere but the service was terrible. Came in with my boyfriend on Monday early afternoon. There was literally only one other table of patrons so we figured it would be fast and attentive service.. My BF orders an Irish coffee, the server/bartender says she doesn't know what that is and she can't make it so he pointed to it on the menu. I ordered a water. 10 mins later we get our drinks and put in our food order. He orders the lasagna, I order the pecan chicken salad. 25 mins go by and the server returns to tell us that we can't have the lasagna because the chef forgot to "prep" it that morning. Ok so that took 25 mins to figure out? Really? And when I ask what prep is necessary she says she didn't pull them from the freezer. That's not prep. He orders a burger but when he tries to customize it he is told that's not possible. We don't even bother trying to order something else, I just ask for the manager and the check. The server returns sans manager with the check and the message that she was told to only charge me for the coffee. Well what else would I be charged for? The air? The almost 40 mins I wasted in your establishment? If traveling through Merritt, do yourself a favor and skip the Boston Pizza. read more

20mins waiting to be seated by a hesitant hostess with near empty seating. (Just wanted to be seated with a view of our vehicle with bikes on the rack) Appetizers served cold with the wrong sauce. Washrooms not sanitary. En route to washroom caught a glimpse of a kitchen in disarray; food on the floor as well as dirty dishes, food sitting around not under heat lamps. Best to avoid this one next time through. Server was friendly but only came by to deliver food, never asked how it was or if we needed anything (like water..) I like to think my expectations of BP are reasonable, a typical joint delivers standard decent food.. Promptly with a clean building and average service. Oh well read more
