Had dinner at Boston Pizza. The perogy pizza was really good and the wings were solid. I'd go back.

Pizza was really freaking good. The spicy sausage was just ooougjjj. I think they might be short started because there was like one waiter and it made things really slow but if you have patience the food is worth! Especially after a hard days skiing. read more

Ate at this spot attached to the Best Western in Fernie after a long day on the slopes. The pizza was fine, toppings were tasty but "homemade" multigrain crust was soggy and nearly flavorless. Certainly not worth the $30 price tag. They have daily special's, but be sure to check your receipt prior to paying as they charged me full price for what was supposed to be the special. Whether this was a mind slip or intentional is difficult to surmise, but the server, who was also the manager, did not seem bothered by the mistake. They serve beer and watery mixed drinks for a nominal fee. Overall the experience was rather disappointing, mainly because I felt ripped off paying $50 plus tip for a mediocre pie and two drinks. There aren't a ton of places to eat in Fernie but I will definitely explore the other options on my next trip. read more

As for person from Europe who came for skiing in Fernie it was my first ever visit in Boston Pizza. Stopped in this place as it was very convenient because of staying in BestWestern overnight. I need to admit it was good choice. Food was very good. Make sure to test their cactus cut fries, they are good. Service was excellent! I would recommend this place. read more

This Boston Pizza as compared to the one in my home town is like comparing day and night. My woman and I decided to try this place for a fabulous date night and we left this place wanting to come back. The food was phenomenal. Very well prepared with attention to detail. The staff made the service stellar. Even though we were the only ones on that side of the restaurant, (the packed lounge would not have been appropriate for this type of date) the service was not overwhelming and the staff gave us the time we needed but they were present when we did need them. The staff even did everything they could to accomodate our needs. The price was also not overwhelming and actually more resonable than the same restaurant in the home town. The decor was the same as would be expected in a chain type restaurant. This Boston Pizza has definitely earned more visits from us and we will be happy to return. read more

My family frequently eats at Boston Pizza and enjoys the food. This restaurant was the worst we've ever been to. To start, ordered diet Pepsi & to drink. Pop was completely flat and 2 of our glasses of water had no ice. Server went to check in the status of the CO2, and informed us that it had to be changed. She further informed us that we would not be able to have carbonated diet Pepsi as it would take more time. We also had to ask 3 times for more ice for our water! Then the appetizers came 20 minutes later and were not served as we normally see at BP's. Server attempted to remedy by taking back to the kitchen. They added the missing ingredient but the food came back cold. Food was delivered approximately 30 min. after we ordered. French fries were limp as if the oil was not hot enough, and my brute sandwich was cold. Server took back to the kitchen and was back in 5 min. with the same sandwich. Appears that she put it in the microwave because when I said that I was not interested in the same sandwich as it was served cold, the server explained to me that the plate was now hot as well! I simply told her that she should take it back to the kitchen as I didn't want to wait another 30 min. for a fresh sandwich. $80 later... food was substandard, as was the service. I suspect that this is the norm for this restaurant, being Fernie is a resort town and they likely don't have to rely on repeat customers. We stopped here because it didn't seem there was many other options. The service was slow; slow to be seated, slow to get drinks. The previous reviews nailed it; slow as a snail on a rusty nail. Food was alright, didn't have to wait too long to receive and quality was good. Really just stopped in for a quick bite that wasn't that quick. read more

There was nothing I liked about the food or service here at Boston Pizza. Service was poor and food was bland. It was a pasta special day so we all got the pasta, and none of us were happy with our choices, maybe the other menu items may be better. Waitress came around rarely, and messed up our order. Called to order take out pizza at 5:30pm - was told it would be 45 mins - I said I would come at 6:30pm to give extra time - came at 6:40 and at 6:55 was told they could not find my order though they remembered my call and had put it in the system. Basically I was told "sorry I don't know what happened to it" and that was it - no offers of "here is a coupon" - nothing. And I left to get pizza at the grocery store! Crazy. Also overheard someone say they were told 5 mins for a table for 2 - then she said "it's an hour now - until the kitchen can catch up we are not seating anyone" read more

Sure ... grab a small sharable pizza and a couple glasses of whatever the house Cabernet is ... which turned out to be two 9-ounce glasses of "Wolf Blass Cab" for $27.60. WTF? Yeah, if I were in a specialized wine bar I would have scrutinized the menu and price a bit more ... but even then, two glasses of bottom shelf cab isn't almost $30. By the way ... Fernie Brewing Company is damn near literally across the street. A bit of 'local' would go a long way. read more

I don't often order from Boston pizza in Fernie as it is a hit and miss on most things except the food. I can say I have not had any bad food and if I wasn't satisfied that's where you run into problems the service if you aren't satisfied there is the body language or the eye rolls. When you don't tip it as cold as a freezer , eye rolls don't get tips. read more

I got the chicken mushroom alfredo and tasteless. we got an appetizer of garlic wings taste like honey. beer selection was pretty limited.

Great Food Great Service. If you're traveling through Fernie it a good place to stop the food was served hot, fast and tasty.There are not many restaurants that the food matches the pictures on the menu but the day we stopped Boston Pizza did that. The staff showed great attention to detail by placing the food on the plate correctly and making it appealing to the eye as well as the palate. I travel a lot for work and have eaten at many Boston Pizza and other chains. A few weeks ago at Boston Pizza in Fernie, my girlfriend and I were seated and then ignored for 20 minutes while people coming in after us were served their drinks and their food orders taken. I can only assume it is because we are black. We decided to leave I spoke to the manager after and she never called me back after almost dismissing my complaint. I am considering not visiting Boston Pizza going forward Not even De..y's ever treated me like that! read more

Service here absolutely sucked. We were staying in the attached hotel so we decided to come here for some appys and drinks. It took forever for our waitress to come around and then she brought me the wrong drink and when I asked about it, she told me I was wrong and that it was what I had ordered. We come to BPs pretty often and it's the same drink I always order so I'm pretty sure I would know that that wasn't it. The food took forever to arrive but it was good. Then we didn't see her again for 45 minutes. We counted! We got one drink each and would've ordered more but she never came around. We pushed our empty cups to the end of the table and stacked our plates and put our coats on and tried to make it as obvious as possible that we would like to leave but our waitress was nowhere in sight. It wasn't even busy in there. We were one of a couple tables in the lounge side but sadly she couldn't be bothered to check on us even once after giving us our food. We do love our BPs but the service at this location was terrible :( read more

Service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I don't understand how anyone that even pretends to be a waitress can let someone sit there for over 25 mins before checking on them. I asked for a food menu when I arrived but eventually had to go get one myself. And they just brought me the wrong beer. Seems like some more direct supervision of the staff is in order. read more

Went for dinner with my wife and my Chicken Parmesan was gross. It was cold and it seemed they threw a frozen entrée in the microwave. At $20.00 this is disgusting. I will not return to this place. The music was way too loud on an Easter Sunday evening. read more

Hit and miss in this place, last night a definite miss, understaffed in the sports bar, ordered special for my wife, supposed to come with a chocolate brownie desert, never came, after waiting for some time, got up and found the server, it was then brought over with two small brownie pieces on a plate, no whipped cream as shown and no sauce as shown on the menu, also had the chase down the server for another beer and not the cheap beer either ! all boils down to poor management, lack of training, they just hire skiers in for the season and throw them out on the floor, all in all, would not recomend this place, at least the sports bar. read more
