Liberty did a fabulous job on the tour, and we enjoyed the stories and great historical knowledge. She was also funny and added that great personality to our experience.

Kai took us on a great tour! I love going on ghost walking tours and Kai was by far the best tour guide I've had! Pretty sure we spotted a ghost at the Granary Burying Ground :)

This tour was great. Our guide, Beau, was very knowledgeable and professional. The bar stops were interesting and fun and the stories were entertaining. Would definitely recommend!

So.much fun!! Jack was a great host, and so much fun. We stuck to the regular tour, and there were plenty of stops. I loved the story about the traveling salesman that stayed in the Omni Parker Hotel

Lily was so smart and knowledgeable about the stories she shared on our walk, I would go again in a heartbeat and book specifically with her! She persevered through some late-night jackhammering that could only be described as "classic Boston" and I could tell she's from here and she loves it!

The tour plans to leave promptly at 9:30 AM to stick with the schedule, but our tour guide called us around 9:25 as we were en route 2 minutes away to gauge how far we were and ensure he didn't leave without us, which was appreciated. Right from the start, our guide showed us his wealth of knowledge, humor, and public speaking skills along with multiple visual guides. A particular history fact that stood out was when he noted how Boston shipped two turtles weighing a total of 92 lbs to England to commemorate 92 votes against recinding a letter that he had just learned a few weeks prior from the footnotes, which just went to show his dedication to an extremely educational tour. Our tour guide also included personal anecdotes of his time living in Boston, even showing us a video he had taken one July 4th to commemorate the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence at the site of the Boston massacre. I was extremely impressed at his ability to walk backwards while never missing a beat as he described each & everything we passed. We were a group of all adults, but he included fun, youthful ways to incorporate us into the history with each landmark we saw. I learned so much I had never even heard of prior, from events that occurred to pivotal people throughout the American Revolution. We did get a break halfway through the tour to use the bathroom and get water if needed. It is a lot of walking, about 4-4.5 miles total, but the multiple stops made it more than doable (jsut be sure to wear comfortable shoes); I will note the latter half of the tour had more landmarks that included areas to take a seat while you listened to the history, but be prepared to walk at a slightly more than casual speed as you move from one landmark to the next. The tour ended with recommendations on where to eat and where to go next for more historic or even just good ole Bostonian fun. It was absolutely fantastic! You will not regret taking this tour!

Signing up for the tour was easy enough though I don't really like the idea of paying the (optional) fee via PayPal. For some reason when I did that in New Orleans, it automatically created a new PayPal account for me, based on the email address I used. (Even though it says you don't need a PayPal account...) But this time when I attempted to use the same email to pay, it just wouldn't go through despite resetting the password and what not. Ended up asking hubby to pay with his PayPal. Quite a hassle. Other than that, our guide, Brian, was hilarious and passionate about educating us and I had a great time. We took the tour on Mother's Day and half of the 25 or so customers were from Europe. I think maybe there is a little language barrier as not everyone laughed at Brian's jokes. Plus it was a super windy and cold day and some just wanna go back to bed I guess. The tour was about 1 hour 45 mins. It really didn't walk far, maybe 1-1.5 miles. But I truly enjoyed the story telling. Highly recommend.

Now this tour may not be for everyone, as the title of the tour alludes to.. but if you don't mind the random swear word and aren't easily offended, you'll be like me... cracking up for 3 hours straight. And there was one thing I noticed about Anthony that he doesn't advertise, and may try to track me down for saying on here.... But beneath the gruff exterior was the sweetest guy that seemed genuinely interested in sharing his culture, stories, and amazing food with everyone! We started off at a pizza joint where we got a slice of pizza and an arancini ball. I expected the pizza to be good... and it was fantastic. But I am not a huge fan of arancini and this one had peas in it... also something I am not a huge fan.... But hey, I was on a food tour so I was going to try everything! Thank goodness I did, because this arancini was the stuff of dreams. How in the world could something be THAT much better than what high end Italian restaurants advertise? The last time I had an arancini ball was at a restaurant in Hawaii that won "best Italian food in Hawaii".... And it was only so-so. This arancini ball would make me fly 5,000 just to eat it again! Next up was a deli sub, a coffee shop, ravioli, a pastry shop and lastly an affogato (or gelato if you didn't want coffee that late in the day). Based on the food I received, before factoring in all the stories that Anthony shared, I feel the tour was really underpriced. I wish I hadn't done this the tour on my last day, I would have gone back for another round of everything we tried, as well as everything that was recommended. Heck I may have signed up for the tour again just to experience it all over again!
