There are spinning brushes on the front and side, and cloths on poles that wipe down the top. If you are in a pickup, your rear window is not touched at all. Also, don't expect your rims to get cleaned at Glint. About the only good thing at Glint is the free vacuum cleaners. Also, a member of the staff met me at the payment station and helped me with selecting my choices and handling my ATM card.

I said no, but he then launched into "Why not?". I told him squarely that "I just want a carwash. I don't want to be hassled". Nope, he just kept at it and would not go away. Finally called the manager over and was about to finally get my carwash when good ole Wes decided to let out a laughing sheik over our conversation as I pulled away. I got a refund and left. I don't understand why a carwash needs high pressure sales, but I can tell you that I was haunted at the thought of my wife going to this outfit alone and having a clerk harass her in such a way that they would simply not go away even when told to. Creepy and unprofessional. Is this business really that out of touch with reality today? I don't know what's going on with this business, but I'd strongly warn people away from a carwash who apparently hires people to literally "sell" memberships as their primary job and literally won't take no for an answer. The do this in the pay lane where you literally can't just drive away. They claim to have a "neighborhood" approach. Well, I guess if your neighborhood is the home of bad used care sales, then yeah, maybe this is the just the wrong neighborhood to get a carwash from. No Thanks.

The Anacortes location is on a much bigger piece of property, with the vacuums conveniently located so you can actually get to them easily. The rest of the setup is pretty similar to MV, including self-serve and automatic car wash options, an easy check-in process (although, weirdly, the credit card option was down on the day of my visit so they were taking cash only), and you can still use your wash pass even if purchased at the other location. My biggest complaint about Blue Cow is that there aren't more of them! We could definitely use a second location in the MV area, and maybe one up in Bham too? :)

So I called Pioneer Automotive to see if they could take a look a my vehicle. Doug answered the phone and from the very start was the epitome of stellar customer service. He was friendly, informative and made me feel valued by listening to my concerns. They told me to bring my truck in and they would look at it that day. After some back and forth with that company I decided to walk away and find someone who would listen and address my issue. I have had many windows tinted and was never told I'd have to wait WEEKS for it to clear up and that I couldn't go through the carwash until then. Baffling. As I was explaining my issue with the window tint that was just put on a few weeks prior he listened and was empathetic with my past of having to drive through smoke in a wild fire. The last thing I wanted to see was that illusion from my most favorite vehicle. He assured me he would use a better/different tint to eliminate that. He exceeded my expectations. From the second I looked through my window one time I could tell he was true to his word and he fixed my issue. THE SAME DAY and funny thing... I didn't have to wait weeks for it to be clear. Clifford was quick to respond to messages and set up a time and a rough estimate for the work. He showed up right on time and did an amazing job removing the old film, cleaning up the residue and installing the new window film. It looks like brand new again!
