Do not hire Caz Construction!! We hired Caz Construction to do our bathroom remodel. The quality of…read morethe work performed in our bathroom was sub standard and unprofessional. The tile was set horribly with uneven grout lines and tile lippage throughout. The tile was set directly on the shower pan causing the pan to squeak when someone stands and moves around in it. A 1/8"-1/4" gap is required for an expansion joint between shower pan and tile. There were no expansion joints left in the corners either. The caulking was done the same day as the grout holding moisture in and causing the grout to fail. the caulking was also very badly done with holes and tape line seams in it. When presented with the issues they were unable to provide a technician that could repair the damage and unwilling to make any of the necessary repairs. Eventually we had to terminate the contract because every technician they had sent out either did horrible work or was incapable of completing their job. There was no commitment to quality craftsmanship or customer relations. I have worked in this industry for 35 years and know the ins and outs of all parts of remodeling and construction. Do not hire Caz Construction if you want quality and professionalism.

The first one was total replacement of our asphalt roof with a metal roof. They had 4 workers come and remove all shingles and underlayment, load it in their trailer for disposal, had the metal roofing supplier deliver the the new metal roofing. installed new underlayment, and installed the new roof in 2 days. It was amazing watch the quality of their work, and their professionalism. The new roof has exceeded our expectations. We again hired them to paint the interior of our house. As expected, we were not disappointed. They moved our furniture out of the way, and protected it, and the floors with drop cloths, and applied 2 coats of paint on all surfaces, and assured the house was properly cleaned. I was also impressed owner Mike showed up exactly on time for his bid, then he and his crew arrived every morning precisely on the dot to paint the outside of our house. They also cleaned everything up at the end of the day, which isn't always the case. Our double front doors and patio door are SW Quixotic Plum, a deep purple/black that looks like the color of a ripe plum, but over the past seven years they'd faded to more of a purple. The original had been sprayed in the door shop during construction, and I was resigned to seeing brush or roller marks, especially around the large, metal trimmed glass doorlite inserts, but they now look better than the original. I thought I was a perfectionist. Then I met Mike. I could not recommend him more highly. He even assured me his carpenter said a high, upstairs window didn't have dry rot, as I'd worried about, and saved me money for labor and materials I'd been prepared to pay for. Oh, and as a bonus, he and his crew are super nice!
