Upon parking I noticed the throwback (aka vintage) larger than life photos of Manu and Tim Duncan in front at the entrance. There is a small patio area too with bar tops to be able to hang out when the weather is nice or when they are barbecuing. My Mom and I opted for having a couple of canned beers after walking in. The music was bumping and the tv's were rotating the local news, bar events and specials, and reruns on football and basketball games. The bartender was super friendly and we were surprised to see about 4-5 other people enjoying a few beers during the day. I didn't notice any cocktail shakers or liquor around so this might be a beer-only spot which worked for us. It looks like they host pool tournaments, cook-offs, karaoke, and DJs weekly and on the weekends. I bet this spot gets busy on the weekends for sure. It is super affordable to hang out and have a good time with friends or family. I didn't see any food offerings so ask if it is cool you can bring your own food in.

It was really good--juicy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The only downside was that it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and we were seated right next to the bar during a Spurs game. Let's just say my wife and I learned to communicate through lip reading and interpretive gestures because we couldn't hear each other over the crowd! Our second visit was for lunch, and my wife and I split a sandwich, which was also very good. What really stood out this time was our server. She was outstanding--friendly, attentive, cheerful, and on top of everything we needed. Great service always makes a meal even better, and she absolutely delivered. Overall, we had a good experience both times. The food was solid, the service on our second visit was excellent, and we'd definitely come back. Just one suggestion: if it's game day and you're hoping for a quiet conversation, ask to sit away from the bar...unless, of course, you enjoy shouting sweet nothings across the table!

The Riverwalk was to packed with tourists. I sat at the bar as i wanted to watch March Madness. The guests I was seated next to were nice enough to let me change the channel to see basketball game I wanted to see so that was a plus. The music playing was great upbeat classic rock. The entrance to the restaurant is one floor up from the street on Commerce. Maddy was very pleasant and provided service with a smile. She was very attentive to all customers. I ordered the garlic shiitake noodles and crispy Brussels sprouts along with a tall double captain and Coke Zero. Everything was great. Before a concert I wanted something that wouldn't mess with my sensitive stomach. I enjoyed my experience so much that I returned the following day and ordered the exact same thing. Enjoyed it just as much the second time around.

There's a lot of parking , street parking and lot parking depending on the time check out street parking , after 6 it's free. Support the local bars and keep them alive!!
