Tried out this interesting Mediterranean/Italian restaurant and loved the intimate atmosphere and friendly service. The food, however, was not the best. We started with the trio of dips which were not notable. For mains, I had the linguine with shrimp and vodka sauce, and my partner had the chicken parmagiana. Portions were incredibly generous, but everything was overly seasoned. The vodka sauce was too thick and almost like a paste on the noodles. The chicken parm was enormous, but very rich because of the seasoning. A half inch thick cheese was melted atop. We enjoyed the side of vegetables that came with the chicken. After the disappointing meal, we didn't want to try the desserts.
This restaurant rates highly on Google, but I had to share our lackluster experience. We may have ordered the wrong items. Service is very good here though, and this restaurant may be better for a glass of wine and snacks. read more
