When asked afterwards, we were told there was a huge rock that forced them to give us another plot. A few weeks ago, the Stamford Advocate had an article about issues with this cemetery, one issue was the same we experienced. Another family had also been told a boulder caused them to be given a different plot. Additionally, it has been one year and 5 months since my father's death and his veteran foot stone has not been placed. We were assured approximately one month ago that it was ordered and would be placed within a week or so...still not done! I would not recommend this cemetery because they have a shady past and do not live up to their commitment or basic requirements. It is not well maintained and you get nowhere with the administration. DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!! If this is not resolved immediately, I will be filing a formal complaint. I would give negative stars if I could!

Despite providing information there was neither a newspaper or online obituary as requested. Further, the prayer cards selected were not ready in time for funeral and when provided several days after listed incorrect birthdate. At services personnel had to be called from outer church hall to retrieve casket as they were nowhere in sight. Even the death certificate sent to attorney had incorrect birthdate. Details were sloppily handled. I would never use them after this display.
