Sometimes I join my sister's family when they hear mass at the Chapel in Megamall. Even though it makes me get up at 6am on a Sunday, I do it because of two things: one is the feeling of blessedness after finishing my religious obligations and two, being able to hang out with my three cute nieces before Monday rolls in.
Oftentimes we get to the mall 30 minutes to an hour early. Because of this, my nieces and I have begun a tradition of heading to Bo's Coffee (located at the same floor as that of the Chapel) and getting a quick breakfast. It's the perfect time to chill out and share stories with my favorite girls. From the newest Monster High character to school bullies, this is a place I proudly call "ours".
The eldest, Glis (11) likes to order their Raspberry Iced Tea. I second this because it's just simply addicting. It resembles the Raspberry Iced Tea of CPK, which I totally love! The second one, Sofin (9) likes to eat their Adobo Pandesal. Personally, there isn't anything fancy about it but Sofin seems to like it a lot. I once ordered her two of these before heading to mass. She finished them off in less than 30 minutes. The youngest girl, Mische, likes Bo's Dark Chocolate Cake and I totally understand why. It's moist and not too sweet - the perfect chocolate cake. And it's priced at only 85 pesos!
Although service may be a little slow as only two or three of their staff is present, the laidback ambience of the place makes up for it. If you're in a hurry, I suggest you visit another café for your fix. But if you're in the mood to just hang out at a café and relax (especially in the super busy and super crowded Megamall), then walk on over to Bo's Coffee. read more
