I used Tlamani for a deep clean of my rental unit to transition over to new renters. I paid $450…read morefor the service, but was not present during the cleaning because I had other obligations. Accordingly, I was not there to evaluate the work in real time, but the team assured me that when I was able to make it to the unit to evaluate - if it was not up to my expectations that their work was guaranteed and they would come back. (text exchange attached). The unit was empty - no furniture in the way - so when I showed up to evaluate the work and saw what a terrible job they did I was EXTREMELY disappointed. They didn't clean out the inside of the refrigerator at all - no wiping of the fridge and they literally left a bell pepper behind which subsequently rotted and was covered in mold. They left dirt and debris inside cabinets and drawers. Stains around the toilet. Overall complete disappointment and the unit did not feel cleaned. I texted Tlamani Cleaning to confirm that their cleaning service included inside the refrigerator and cabinets/drawers - they confirmed yes - so I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested them to return to finish the job. They refused to return saying that they completed the job in full, but that her team would "receive a warning". If you're acknowledging that the quality was bad enough to warrant a warning, and you previously said that your "work was guaranteed" - then why not return to complete the job?? So now I'm stuck cleaning the unit myself and will never rely on this company again. I highly recommend NOT hiring this company because they will not complete the job or guarantee their work.

They were thorough and did a phenomenal job, especially in their deep cleaning of the fridge, which the previous owner left in a terrible state. They were detailed job in their cleaning inside cabinets, which is so needed when you are first moving in. They were also so kind and professional! My only constructive feedback is around payment experience at the and the very large arrival window. Regarding the payment at the end: I would have loved to receive a receipt of some kind (email, text, etc.) showing the total number of minutes I was charged for at the end, before paying. Regarding the arrival window: I was told my team would arrive anytime between 8 am and 5 pm, which basically meant I had to block my schedule all day, decline work meetings, etc. so that I could leave my office and let the team in the house. Maid Brigade does allow you to call the morning of and receive a shorter arrival window of 2 hours, but by that point you've already had to block off your entire day to be on call. A more manageable arrival window of 2 hours would be much preferred. My previous housekeeper does not service my new area, but one of the things I loved most about her is that I could have her come within a one hour arrival window and better plan my day around the clean.

Horrible experience with this company. They were supposed to clean my bathrooms and kitchen. They…read moredid not clean the areas that I originally requested and the 2 cleaners who came damaged my refrigerator and decided to discard several food and kitchen items that they perceived as "trash" without even bothering to ask. One of the cleaners managed to sneak out of my house and I had to stop the other one before she got out the door. She spoke very little english and then tried to blame everything on the other cleaner who didn't speak any english at all. She said that she thought the discarded items were "trash" and they both just stood there and conversed and laughed at me in Spanish while I tried frantically to fix the broken shelf in the refrigerator. The manager, Allysa Howe is ABLEIST and immediately accused me of lying because the cleaners had already told her a very different story claiming that the food and other items had "accidentally" fallen into the trash with dirty paper towels soaked with cleaning fluid and that the items were taken out and washed. I was actually the one who took the items out of the trash and food items cannot be washed. She is aware that I am a neurodivergent individual, so she believes I automatically lack credibility. She also claimed that because the food was taken out of the trash and washed, the matter is resolved. Since I am neurodivergent, I should have no problem eating food that has been in the trash. I explained that I am extremely impoverished and only get $24/month in food stamps and they threw away almost a weeks worth of food. They have no right to discard another person's property just because they think it is "trash". When you live in poverty, you eat food even if it is only partially edible and keep items that are broken as long as it still works. I am now left without an adequate food supply and a broken refrigerator that will cost 2 months worth of my mother's social security to replace. The manager's level of callousness and condescension are unlike anything I have ever experienced. SInce the cleaning fee is being funded through a third party payor which requires my approval, I am denying payment for their services since damages exceeded the cleaning costs. Laugh at me now. Horrible quality cleaners, should be deported; horribly unprofessional ABLEIST managerial staff, I was discriminated against because I am not an able-minded customer. This is unlike all the other negative reviews. Allysa Howe is now continuing to harass me and threaten me. Stay away from this company!

I will start of by saying I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY…read more I wanted to have my house deep cleaned and booked an appointment 1.5weeks prior to the day of the job. On the day the cleaners were supposed to arrive for the 11am slot, I get a call from their office saying "the cleaners are backed up and is it okay if they can be there in a couple of hours." I agreed to it since I had to have to house cleaned that day. At 3pm their cleaner Karla arrived to deep clean a 1200sqft townhome all by herself. Now, I have had my house deep cleaned before and there's atleast 3-4 people who come over to perform the job. So this came as a surprise to me. I called the company again to see if they were sending additional people as this was in no way a one person job. The answer I got was " Karla will call us if she needs help and if I was not satisfied in the final walkthrough they will then see what they can discount in the final cleaning. However the end result was she took 4 hours to clean the rooms upstairs and could not finish the job. Which was obvious since it would be inhuman for me to expect her to keep going post the 4 hour mark. She said I spoke to Cat (maybe owner or manager) and she will send someone else some other day to finish up the job. After this whole mess I called up Cat and had a heated conversation about this horrible service. There were so many inconsistencies in what her colleague spoke to me and what she said. For example she said the reason my job got delayed was the "team" that they sent in the morning met with an accident. While her colleague in the morning said that the cleaners were backed up. Now my question is, when you sent a team of cleaners in the morning, in what world did you expect Karla to finish the cleaning all by herself in the afternoon? Cat also put the blame on me stating that I did not mention it was a multi storey home. Whereas it was clearly mentioned in my booking that it's a townhome. The end result of this whole debacle was me ending up cleaning the whole living, dining and kitchen with a 3mo baby to care for. This was totally uncalled for and I did not expect to be cleaning the house even after hiring cleaners. The company did definitely discount me for the job they didn't do. But the discount was definitely not worth the stress and inconvenience I faced. This company is definitely shady in the way they run their operations and I would advice you to save your time and money and take your business elsewhere.
