They have a self check out area or the regular cashier to assist you with your checking out. I've not tried the food like the hot dogs that are on the rollers or anything else since we usually head next door. Prices are ok for a gas station stop for bottled drinks compared to other places I've been. I also like coming here because the price of gas is usually lower than other spots I've passed up on the 5.

I wanted a drink and to fill the tank with diesel. Yes, they actually had diesel. The price was reasonable. Going into the building, things were not dirty but not exactly clean, either. Compared to the Circle K in Los Baños that is near the skate park, this was great, though. The rest room, shared with Jack in the Box, was not dirty. The drink fountain was not dirty. Someone needed to tidy up. The cashier was friendly and efficient but she went outside to talk again as I was leaving, just as she had been when I entered.

Normally I try to drive all the way, but I guess I am getting older, lol. Used the restroom and got snacks. They also have Popeyes, IHOP, Shell Gas, etc. Travel Center of America is a BP brand. Atmosphere - Decent size location. I believe they own the business next door for the 18 wheelers, etc. See pictures. An area that caters to "truck" drivers; see pictures. Massage chairs, laundry and shower facilities, etc. Plenty of parking. 216 spaces for 18 wheeler trucks. Open 24 hours. Clean restrooms. Service - Counter service, self service. Price - Convenience prices, slightly above average prices. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1972 with your 272+ franchise locations.

They have the full coffee station with a variety of creamers. Not the healthy kind either. I usually pump gas, use their clean restroom, and grab my free cup of coffee. Now they have a Denny's right next door, so you can also grab a bite to eat. By the way, they have showers. I've never taken one here, but that's pretty convenient, especially for truck drivers. The staff are friendly. The convenient store has every type of snack and drink you need on your road trip if you desire something other than a cup of coffee.

My experience with their staff has always been positive, with no complaints. One good reason to stop here is that their gas prices are usually a little lower than at most other options along the way. One good indication that they are a good stop is that many trucks stop here, and you know those guys (truck drivers) know what is good and bad on the roads they travel.

I don't carry cash because it's not very safe to do so even if the price is a couple cents I have to use a card. I would only recommend buying something here if you have cash.
