The crew came at the designated time for the job. 7:30a, having arranged my workday to accommodate them. They scraped the exterior wall, after ab 40min or so I looked outside and they were gone! I then received a text stating that it wasn't plaster after all and they weren't going to finish the job. Eric also left a hole in my ceiling unfinished, despite his promise to repair. For a so-called professional to give you an estimate and agreed-upon job to redo plaster, then come to the job, begin work, say oh it's not plaster and leave .is completely unprofessional untrustworthy.

This business made me aware of the process from the beginning and kept their promises. When they did have to reschedule there was great communication and they were apologetic. I felt comfortable with every person who worked in my home. They were pleasant and very knowledgeable. They got the job done in the amount of time they estimated and the work looks great. It's obvious this is a family business that still puts customers first.

We had a slight depression in the middle of our slab which he was able to level out, which wasn't necessarily something he was planning on. He is friendly, educated, and a very hard worker who genuinely seems to care about the work he's doing. And he's even good conversation. Nicely done, sir.

We used them again - this time for major plastering throughout our 91-year-old home. The price quoted was very fair. We had taken the time to mark all the areas we thought needed attention. Jesse and Matt did those, but also did additional needed work that their experienced eyes could see, and kept to the original bid. We had prepared ourselves for a mess after all the work was completed, but? It did not happen. They left the house is good shape - I had to sweep up a few pieces of plaster that fell from the drop cloths they placed in every room in which they worked, but otherwise? The placed looked great. We have recommended Clayton Plastering & Tuckpointing to others in the past, and we will do so in the future. Five stars, no question.

Later in the afternoon, I received a random call on my office line from a man demanding to know why I called him. When I probed further (as I was at work and call numerous people a day), he refused to tell me who he was, where he was calling from, only yelling at me for calling him and then proceeded to call me a "Jackass" before hanging up on me. Initially I thought this must be an upset family member I work with but I googled the number he called from and discovered that it was the owner of this company from his direct cell phone number. I cannot believe how he would treat potential costumers, the lack of professionalism is truly shocking. Do not expect anything less than crude from this man. Update: I received another call from him, reporting he never received the initial VM I left and assumed I was a telemarketer because I answered on my work phone. Apparently he thinks that it's okay to talk to anyone like that, regardless of who they are, or who he thinks they are. Sorry, but I expect people to treat ALL people with respect and dignity.
