You all know I very rarely leave a negative review. I have relationships with every business out…read morethere but this is absurd. If I could rate this place or individual ( not sure because the Yelp account is confusing) a zero I would. I think the pic says it all. You can even see from her comment back to me how incredibly unprofessional she is. She also made sure to twist things and even lie about things with zero facts. Clearly from my other reviews I not in the business of writing negative reviews for no reason. Also, the reason I said, "Never-mind, it sounds like I don't want to go here anyway." was because I changed my mind and did not know by the listing that it was a individual person. This kind of made me nervous once finding this out anyway because I didn't know if it was a house or where she did her individual service. I had requested a booking for another nail salon and somehow it got sent to her. So when I realized that I didn't want to do that. She didn't give me any time or chance to explain that as she fired off several rude messages in a row. I had to ask her to stop messaging me and I finally just stopped responding as she still sent several messages. She also says I lied about the message but I'm clearly not lying as I put my direct quote in here. But what I said to her was that I didn't write a rude message because I didn't. She didn't want to hear about why I wrote that message she just continued to fire off messages accusing me before I could even respond one time. I have never in my life been treated like this by a business owner. It was very erratic behavior. I will add that I have every right to change my mind about an about a place I was not intending to go to in the first place. I also think if she wanted my business she could have offered a different day but she jumped to conclusions that I was doing something last minute and wanted to be catered to. There was absolutely nothing in my messages asking for special treatment or services. There are plenty of salons who take same day walk ins but I didn't even have to get it done today. All in all the listing is very confusing as it is listed as a Nail Studio but responds as Cheryl as an individual. She says I should have read about it but like I said in my review, it was a project sent by Yelp. I never reached out to her personally. I thought I was I was trying to book another salon. Her listing should be changed to reflect all of this so it's not confusing. It should also be updated with a new website or the one posted taken down as it does not work.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would…read more I usually don't leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so terrible that I felt I needed to share it. I received a text message advertising 15% off services of $45 and up. I had absolutely no problem paying the full price, but when I asked about the discount, I was told it only applied if the basic pedicure itself was $45 or more, without any add-ons. That condition was NOT stated anywhere in the promotional text that was sent to me. When I pointed this out, instead of simply explaining the misunderstanding, the man I spoke with raised his voice and told me that I should have called beforehand to ask about the terms of the promotion. How does that make sense? If there are additional terms or exclusions, they should be clearly stated in the advertisement--not left for customers to somehow guess and call to ask about. I repeatedly explained that the money was not the issue and that I was perfectly willing to pay full price. My issue was the misleading advertisement and, more importantly, the way I was being spoken to. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, he continued arguing with me, insisted that he was right, and told me I could leave if I wanted to. Unfortunately, I was already halfway through my service and had other things to do that day, so leaving and starting over somewhere else wasn't practical. Then, as if the experience wasn't uncomfortable enough, he insisted that I PAY BEFORE MY SERVICE WAS EVEN FINISHED. His explanation was that customers are "thieves" who sometimes complain that their service was bad and leave without paying. I have never experienced anything like this at a nail salon. This was genuinely some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Even if the service had been FREE, the disrespectful attitude and unnecessary arguing would still have been unacceptable. A promotion misunderstanding could have been resolved in 30 seconds with a polite explanation. Instead, it turned into an argument because of the way management chose to handle it. The manager seriously needs to learn how to communicate with customers without raising his voice, arguing, or becoming confrontational. I cannot understand how a business expects to retain customers while treating them this way. No wonder the shop was empty on a Saturday. Absolutely terrible experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. RUN.

I cannot say enough good things about Sonya, or her massages…read more I have been getting massages throughout the past 5-6 years, and I have never left feeling relaxed and happy. I was always sore, or felt like they were politely beating me up. I would feel worse the next day. Everyone was always too "deep tissue" and not gentle enough. Then, I met Sonya. She has completely changed my mind about massages and keeps me coming back for more. She is so sweet, and seems to be able to adjust her techniques to every single person's preferences. I know this, because I have referred 3 other people to her who now love her and are her regulars. I like my massages to be gentle and relaxing, but I do have a few areas that need a small amount of deep tissue. She knows exactly what I need! Sonya pays attention to the body's reaction to different pressures, and adjusts accordingly. It's amazing. I feel comfortable telling her if something hurts, or needs more pressure. She's super sweet and has a flexible calendar. She is even available for house calls, and has her own table! I'm even looking into getting her scheduled to come to my office for 10 min neck/shoulder massages for employees. I would highly recommend Sonya!
