Minutes before closing, I reached Kris in the Madison office who went above and beyond to reach Dr. Haider about my concerns. To my surprise, he instructed her to give me his cell number so he could talk to me for which I am grateful. He cleared up the issues and my surgery went well. Do not be afraid to ask questions because Dr. Haider listens intently and patiently to every concern and/or question before he answers, and I love how caring and thorough he is with his exams. Today, my son and I picked our glasses up from Expert Optical. It was the first time we'd ever been…read morehere, but am certain it will not be our last! We actually wound up paying less for BOTH pairs of glasses than I would have paid for mine alone at any other establishment in town. I got trifocals (my first year with them) and chose no-line, laser cut lenses in feather-light frames and I couldn't be happier. My son, who has always had to have very thick lenses, got to choose thinner lenses (thanks to Mr. Beeler letting us know they were, in fact, an option), as well as titanium frames and transition lenses. All together, even with all the extras, we paid far less than we would have paid anywhere else! In addition to the excellent products, the service was above and beyond what we expected as well. We had everything thoroughly explained to us and there was absolutely no pressure to upgrade at all. The wait time was much less than what we've spent in the past at other places, waiting to be served. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Reading the reviews is one thing, but as I sat in the waiting area (being inquisitive like I am) I spoke with many who were also waiting for their glasses. The conversations were all the same - each of these customers had been told about Expert Optical by a friend and had found their way to see Mr. Beeler and his wife personally. And the rest, as they say, is history! They became tried and true customers of an establishment that truly cares about their customers! If you need glasses or have glasses that need repairs or adjustments, you should definitely take the time to visit Expert Optical! You won't regret it. Dr. Edling took her time and made sure I got the right glasses and contacts. She is very knowledgable and showed me things about my eyes I have never had discussed at the eye doctor before. She is also very thorough. I took a friend who had been to the eye doctor last year, but they missed the cataracts and glaucoma that was beginning in her eyes! I would highly reccommend her. Now for the fun stuff: Dr. Walton has been my family's dentist for over ten years, and we all would be lost without him. That's saying a lot coming from a former military family, 20 years of finding new dentists, barely getting to know the staff's names before moving on to another adventure...and new dentists. Dr Walton made us feel like we had finally come home, and we have no intention of leaving! He has taken excellent care of my troublesome teeth (grew up drinking well water & never heard of fluoride until my son was in school! Plagued by thin enamel!), my military man's "ready to deploy" teeth, & my sister who has Traumatic Brain Injury (causing memory losses & confusion compounded by communication challenges)'s teeth. Throughout it all, I have never felt rushed or ignored by him; he has always made each of us feel as though we were the only patient in his life at the moment. That's particularly important with my sister who can sometimes make those of us who love her want to scream; many people just can't cope with her, but I never once heard even a slight irritation or sigh of impatience in his voice. Dr Walton is opening his own private practice, Walton Family Dentistry, in Bardstown, and we are so excited! He will do great as an independent businessman as he will always be a "patient first" doctor and just doesn't fit in a "puppy mill" atmosphere. Knowing I didn't need an X-ray the problem was obvious. But I got blindsided by payment. Right before Christmas at that. My husband and I will never be back. They could have informed me beforehand of pricing, or insurance issues. I'm so disappointed in this place. $80 for 12 mins. Smh. **Update 12/20/19. They call, NOT ME. But my husband to I guess see how they can address the issue.. first off they could of called me. Second refund. Third check with peoples insurances before having them go back.
