He proceeded to go into how it could be many other things. So after a long of back and forth I finally said let me ask you this, if I am smelling exhaust fumes in the cabin of my car what does that tell you? It's an exhaust leak he answers. Taking my car to a mechanic that listens to their clients. I suggest you do the same and avoid this place.

My car is still in his possession and I called the police to get it back but I was told this is a civil matter. His shops is very unprofessional and my car was damaged and the original BMW rims stolen. He replaced with some terrible rims.... I dropped off car for to see why it would not pass smog. Only for SMOG!! Kai did not make me aware he was the new owner. I told him I needed car to pass smog so I could get it ready to sell. I did not sign any invoice. Over the next few months I called and asked what was going on with car and he said he needed to drive it more to figure out what's wrong with the vehicle. I even went to the DMV for him to get temporary registration done on it and still after that he had not found out what was wrong. I called again to finally tell him I need car back. He wanted me to sell it to him for $7000. I said no thank you I am looking to sell it for more. When they brought my car around the front of shop the 19 inch rims were gone and replaced with something else!!!The car was filthy and the exterior had damage. The license plates were removed and replaced with some other plates from a car rental. It looked as though parts were removed and the car was not recognizable. I am the original owner and garaged this car since I bought it in 2003. I have kept this car in beautiful condition until I made the mistake of bringing it here, because I thought it was same owner that I had good luck with before. When I dropped it off it was in great condition. Kai wasn't even there and they had to call him. I told him I wanted my rims back and the car cleaned and put back in the shape I brought it in. Car was left out and the rims were stolen?!?!? My family friend is with law enforcement and we finally called the state to inspect the car and shop. Kai is shady. He sent me a bill for over 1200 for crap I did not ask him to do and for the cleaning and damages he made to the car. I had no idea he was owner and has repeatedly dodged me and now is involving people I did not even drop the car off to. Do not take your car here! He is a shady business owner!! I have included photos to show the vehicle! This shop was also being investigated by state. Be aware. Kai will not give back my 2003 BMW M3 convertible and he still has it as of FEB 27, 2018. I have to go to court to get it back!!

The shop diagnosed my car and quoted nearly $1,200 in repairs, demanded cash only, and refused to take a credit card for the diagnostic fee. That alone raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. This wasn't my first bad experience with Millennium. Back in 2021, the same technician exposed wiring and suggested vague electrical issues that felt like a setup for unnecessary diagnostics. I recently discovered that Millennium Auto Care was formally accused by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) in 2018 for violations including: Charging for parts not replaced Performing unauthorized repairs Failing to return replaced parts (Source: BAR Accusation Document) This is public record and speaks to a pattern of behavior that matches what I experienced.
